Giulia is a chef-owned Italian restaurant located between Harvard and Porter Squares in Cambridge. This is the first restaurant of award-winning Chef Michael Pagliarini. Our focus is on inspired food and great service with true Italian vigor. We put a particular focus on our hand-crafted pastas, made each day on our custom-built chef"s table adjacent to the open kitchen.

Tasty food, though a bit rich. I wish the wait person had told me that both my appetizer and my main dish were topped with burrata. Also, the starters came almost too quickly once we made our choices. Still, we had a pleasant evening and I would go back again. I would just be more careful checking the ingredients of the food I ordered.

We were seated in a corner of the restaurant where it was extremely hot. I told the waitress twice and was just told that that’s the way it is and that the kitchen staff is hotter than us so they didn’t care to hear the complaint. I was extremely disappointed in the attitude I got and there was no effort to change our seats even though the pasta table was half empty. I loved Giulia’s but I was extremely disappointed.

Honestly the food was amazing. I did the tasting menu with the paired wine. We got 6 different courses and 6 different glasses of wine. Everything was paired wonderfully and really complimented each other. The potato crudo with lardo is the best thing I have ever eaten. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredible in every way. Service is outstanding, attentive, and knowledgable. The entire meal, from sfizi to dessert is out of this world--made with the best seasonal ingredients, every bite is to be savored. The semolina cakes and chicken liver mousse toast are a must. The pistachio gelato (made in-house) was the perfect way to end an outstanding meal. Great for everyday dining and special occasions. Why it is my favorite restaurant in the city.

The staff was great and awesome! I think the cocktail that is started my night off with didn’t sit well in my stomach so I wasn’t up to eating. Our waiter was kind enough to pack up my portion. Thank you!

Always fantastic in every way. For a casual and top rated food experience. Best for unhurried conversation with focus on the food. Lively but not frantic or noisy. For mature appreciators.

The food at Giulia’s is simply delicious. The waiter recommended several dishes — the octopus antipasti and the wild boar pasta — both of which were outstanding. We will definitely be returning to Giulia in the future.

Excellent and creative pasta dishes. We started with the pesto flatbread and semolina cakes - both flavorful, but light. My husband got the bucatini and I got the lobster tortelli. The tortelli had a blend of citrus and truffle flavors and the pasta was amazing. Finished the night with some of the creamiest gelato I've ever had. Definitely worth the money!

The food at Giulia is always spectacularly good. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. There’s just a really good vibe at this restaurant. One almost understands why it is SO hard to get reservations!

Giulia is booked every day with all reasonable times taken for a month, but I understand why. I stayed up past midnight to wait for the 30 day booking window to open up so I could get a 7:30 reservation and it was worth the effort. It reminds me of being back in Italy with the care and attention to detail in the fresh food. We ordered the staple homemade pasta dishes and were not disappointed. The pappardelle with wild boar was insanely delicious. At a foodie place like this where the staff can tell you the unique story behind a dessert wine, there are no wrong choices - just take a leap of faith and try something new, fun and different!

Ordered two dishes - one (boar pappardelle) was fantastic, the other was good but not amazing. The papparadelle dish has a great depth of flavor to it -- apparently is a favorite there so I am probably not telling anyone anything that isn't well known.

I would definitely give this place a try if you are in the area.

Knowledgeable wait staff, awesome cocktails, food that is no less than divine. Fresh, creative, inspired, serious. Lavender panna cotta dessert still memorable. If it were easier to get in and money were no object, I might have a problem.

Very very tasty food presented nicely. There are many creative takes on standard dishes, using seasonal elements that stand out. Would have given it a five except it's noisy and there were a few things that didn't quite make the mark, most notably the lamb sausage (delicious) with risotto (overcooked and pasty) and the chocolate dessert (great ice cream and biscotti but the cake was too sweet and the caramel cloying).

Just phenomenal. After hearing all the buzz I was not disappointed and neither will you! Best pasta I’ve ever had and the best meal of the year easily. Not to be missed!

We came here for a date and ordered off the regular menu. Our favorites dishes were the chicken liver crostini and creamy white corn polenta antipasti. Our server Jessica S was so friendly and helpful. She really added positively to our experience. Would definitely come back.
