Very good but not outstanding food. Nice ambience, in between fancy and casual.
Fantastic food, pasta, service, and menu.
My son’s 23 rd birthday. Guilia made for a memorable celebration!
The BEST Italian food outside of Tuscany and Sicily!!
We celebrated our daughters 30th birthday at Gillis’s and from the moment we were seated she was given such special attention by the entire team. The food was amazing. We all tried something different across a four course meal and all of us found the food to be very delicious with al lot of influence on the part of the chef pairing unexpected combinations that were so flavorful. It was a dining delight for a special occasion. Thank you and we will be back.
Absolutely wonderful dinner! Food was so flavorful and delicious. Atmosphere is comfortable, and service was attentive but not intrusive
Outstanding! Highly creative dishes alongside classically paired flavors. Just wonderful.
Incredible experience. Food was amazing. Service impeccable.
Fantastic food and top notch service from our favorite staff member Jess.
Pasta was amazing, definitely the highlight. Appetizer was much smaller than before (like the chicken liver crostini, bread was half the size than pictured by previous diners). However, it took a considerable time to place orders, and even longer to receive the food (perhaps understaffed due to COVID), but it was noticeable how less attention was paid to our table in comparison to the two tables next to us, which left a sour aftertaste. Hoping that this was a one-off incident, though, and the crowded restaurant shows this place is special.
I have tried several times to get a reservation at Giulia and were not successful. We were finally able to get a table and it did not disappoint. Everything about it was fabulous and I can't wait for a return visit.
Giulia is every bit as good as everyone says it is.
The food was delicious and the service was superb. Very highly recommended!
Food was really excellent. Service was knowledgable, pleasant and excellent. I spotted a number of couples who seemed to be having romantic evenings. We were a group of three adults who had a wonderful time there. Though they are busy, we didn't feel rushed at all.
Incredible food and service! Giulia's never disappoints!
Always a pleasure! Would highly recommend for special occasions -- or just a week day night with friends.
One of, if not my favorite Italian restaurant in the Boston area.
Place was very nice, service was great and foot was delicious.
it was superb! the most difficult part is choosing what to eat!
Great experience. Even our Italian guest was impressed.
It was our 6th wedding anniversary. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable!
Another great evening at Giulia's! Swordfish, prosciutto, whole wheat pasta with pesto, burrata salad were outstanding. Our server, Kelly, was exceptional. . We appreciate that they offer specials in additional to their regular menu. Worth the wait for a reservation.
Came in with very high expectations and Guilia met most of them. The sfizzi and aperitivo courses were amazing. I was expecting more from the taste of the pasta dishes. The pasta was good not amazing and the plates were small for pasta. Overall had a great time but hope the pasta could be better for the hype of the place
The staff were all so welcoming, accommodating, kind, Professional, talented, personable and I could go on and on!! The food was delicious and each dish was gorgeous and delicious too. The hand made buckwheat pasta with chanterelle mushrooms was light, buttery and memorable. The papardalle with wild boar was fragrant, rich, lovely and my boys demolished it!! The appetizers were creative and each one was unique and scrumptious. The restaurant itself is simple but warm and very Italian and beautiful. I have rarely had a better experience and we are hooked for life!!!
Giulia is a hidden gem. The food blew my husband and I away. With every bite we couldn’t stop saying wow. From the bread to the dessert we were nothing short of amazed. Boston has been great but Giulia would 100% be the reason to come back. The staff was very kind and accommodating and made great suggestions (wine & food). This is simply the best Italian food we’ve ever had and it will be hard to go back to NY and have any other.
Great food, great service
Every dish was very special from concept to execution.
If I was an Michelin inspector, I would easily give it 3 stars: Worth a Special Trip!
Superb in every way! Everything was impeccable.
Wonderful place! I’ve been here 4 times. First time was in 2017, and the place has never lost its essence. Food is amazing. This restaurant is a MUST!
Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Yes, it is pricier but you get what you pay for and this place DELIVERS. Highly reccomend!
The menu is interesting and inventful. Started with super delicious sourdough bread and it was fresh, warm and delicious. The appetizers were great; chicken liver crostini and beets salad. However, the pastas were a bit disappointing . The agniolini with chanterelles was perfection but the papardelle with boar was fair. The tagliatelle was salty but okay
Everything we ate was delicious and the service was excellent. This has been our consistent experience at Giuliano Restaurant - that's why it is our favorite restaurant in the Boston area.
Outstanding food as always. The chefs at Giulia are masters of tact. They handle ingredients with great sensitivity and judgment. You really can't go wrong here. And the service was friendly and extremely helpful. We have a wonderful evening.
Outstanding food, service, and ambiance. The best Italian in Boston!
touched all the right bases with superb skill - it doesn't get better than this! Particularly well suited to lovers of Italian food
Food ingredients were amazing paired together that taste delicious
I love everything about Giulia !!!! It is one of my favorite restaurants!!!!!
Our experience on Giulia's outdoor patio was amazing! This was our first time dining there and food, service, and ambience all exceeded expectations. Our server was super friendly and her knowledge of the food and drinks offerings was impressive. She helped make our experience very enjoyable! The food is some of the best in the Boston area. Definitely try the prosciutto with figs, which was unique and delicious. The chicken, bass and pasta special could not have been better. We highly recommend Giulia and will return.
Great food as always. Wonderful for a special celebration and always something new and creative to try.
