Girasole Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Overall, very nice restaurant. Prompt courteous service. Frittura Mista was a generous portion and very good. Brick oven pizza was very good, but a little burned underneath. The red sauce was on the Gnocchi e braciola was too acidyi. Sliced black angus sirloin with arugula was very good. The desserts were very disappointing. We had the Italian ricotta cheesecake and bluberry panna cotta.
Best food in A.C. hands down. Ingredients very fresh and cooked to perfection. Wait staff very attentive. They have a nice happy hour with small plates available but we came for dinner. The ambiance is beautiful and makes you feel you are in a garden in Italy. You won't be disappointed, this place is a gem.
The sauce had a burnt taste to it.
I had the spaghetti with shrimp
Crab, which was not much. And calmeri. My husband had the meatball and sausage. It also had a burnt taste. The bread was good but they only gave us olivr oil and no seasoning. The price was not on par for other places. It was extremely expensive. No parking and I mention to the waiter it was our anniversary and he did not respond or wish us a happy anniversary.
Former New Jersians now living in San Diego, Girasole is always must visit when in the area. The food is authentic and always a family pleaser. Love the eggplant and zucchini Parmesan, the ravioli verde, broccoli di rabe, vegetable based soups. Service is friendly and professional the Versace inspired decor is unique. Love dining at Girasole. Well done and Gracie!
We had a fantastic dining experience at our recent trip to Girasole. As a first time diner there, we were impressed by the quality of food. We enjoyed the fresh pastas and wood-fired pizza. Cocktails were well made - and we opted to bring wine for a small corkage fee. Would definitely go back!
Our waitress was phenomenal. We had several special diet requests and she handled each concern and question with kindness and professionalism. This is a fantastic place to have an intimate meal. The ambiance is perfect and the food has been great each time I've dined here. The waitstaff is the key element in putting together the memorable dining experience and we were very impressed.
Fortunately we got here early; small place with crowded seating that would NOT have been enjoyable at the noise level when we were finished. Pricing is not for the faint hearted but you receive value for monies spent. We had the Iberico ham appetizer special which was $35 but well worth the price for the quality of the product. Two of the carpaccios; the pulpo & combination of salmon & sea bass were fantastic whereas the pasta tasting menu was "OK" but paled compared to the appetizers. The wine list is outrageous & surprisingly reasonably priced for the quality & selection offered. Dinner for two was close to $400 but my wife & I considered it very fair for the food & experience.
I’ve been coming to this place for 15 years and it never disappoints. The food is truly authentic Italian cuisine. The place is run by a really nice family from Napoli and they are super hospitable. I’m my opinion this is the only place worth eating at if you come to Atlantic City. Buon appetito
Great food and wonderful service! We were a party of 2 adult couples for dinner and everyone loved their meals. Procuitto appetizer was fabulous! Osso buco and seafood pasta entres were absolutely delicious!! Do yourself a favor visit here for a lovely dinner experience soon. We can't wait to return!
Made reservation through open table indicating that it was for our anniversary. This was never acknowledged, we were never offered desert. A couple came in after us and left before us. Reservations were at 7 we ate dinner at 9 and only had a cheese plate as an appetizer. There was an air about the place that they were doing us a favor rather than the other way around.
