This is a top notch restaurant ! You might have to wait a bit for your table but it will be well worth it ! Fun to grab a drink at the bar !

We had another great night at Girasole. Delicious apps- loved the eggplant. Dinner was homemade pasta for all four of us. Lots of seafood and perfect sauces. We had the chocolate hazlenut cake for dessert- heavenly. As always the drinks are perfect- martinis and a great wine selection. Always attentive and friendly service too. Thanks for a great night😊

The inside of the restaurant is lovely, however we were seated outside on Pacific ave in a plexiglass enclosure of some sort like a fake greenhouse?! Anyhow, they had a door wide open and fans running, and there were fruit flys everywhere, in the food, in the drinks, on the table, everywhere! The apps were fine, but the dinners all came out lukewarm one was cold. Sorry, but this was a terrible experience and I took guests from out of town. Never again.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant, currently its hidden under some scaffolding from construction on building. What a pleasant surprise once inside, sweetly furnished with sunflowers . The restaurant has a quaint, happy feel to it . The pasta was outstanding ! We couldn't get over how big the tomatoes were in the caprese salad ! Overall a must try if you in the mood for Italian food.

The Lentil Soup was watery and tasteless. Waitresses need to wait til everyone is done with their food before clearing the individual plates Salad was sensational and Bronzino was wonderful

A disappointing experience from start to finish. We entered through glass doors adorned with restaurant rating stickers indicating glory from years long past. We were not welcomed by any host. We wandered to the center of the restaurant where we saw a gathering of waiters and asked for the Maître d'. No one knew what that was. Eventually a woman stepped up, walked toward the front door gathered menus and offered us an unattractive choice of tables. The décor was late 70's and was well worn and looked shabby. We ordered two Cucumber Martini's. One tasted sweet the other bitter. The carpaccio appetizer was bland and the tomatoes in the Pomodoro salad were hard. It got worse from there. The main courses arrived at the table 40 minutes after our appetizers were cleared. The filet mignon (a special) ordered medium by my girlfriend was RAW. The owner debated me saying it was medium rare. It was sent back and returned about 3 minutes later and was RARE. My girlfriend wouldn't touch it. I eat all steak medium rare steak so I switched with her and it was NOT GOOD at all. The Spaghettini Neri had little bits of crab as opposed to the jumbo lump crab meat described on the menu and we couldn't find any artichokes. Do not waste your time to visit this old place that has lost its luster and it's ability to make an edible meal.
