Fresh but not as flavoursome as we expected. Good place to dine and has sports on even all the game from home !
Their regular Bloody Mary or bacon-garnished Pigskin Mary is the best on the island!!!
Food was excellent and not overly priced. We were seated quickly and had wonderful service.
Went to dinner with a group of 9, picked the restaurant due to its location and varied menu since 3 in our party were picky children. The food was great, service even better. A great choice for a group!
The taste of the dishes was good, and the amount was satisfied.
And female clerks were beautiful and offered good service.
I also want to use it.
Turkey Rueben was great. Husband bbq salad was just average. They have quite a few TVs you can see from any table. I’d go back again
Drinks were amazing! Would return again for coconut mojito, Me Gusta and chicken matzoh ball soup; everything else including service was so so.
Great food and service - made for a great night out - would recommend the bread & butter pudding
The only down fall to this experience was the 10 minute wait for a server to come to the table. They indicated the servers screwed up who was assigned to table.
Another good foodie experience with good service and food choices
We have been to Giovanni on previous visits and the food portions were massive and extremely tasty. This time it was that great and the Ruben’s have definitely been reduced in size.
Pasta was cluggy and chicken was dry
Atmosphere: is great still the same sports bar.
Upon arriving to Giovanni’s the night was extremely busy but we didn’t feel the love at the door
Food wasn’t great and was super expensive for what was served.
Good eatery on Lewers Beackwalk, good happy hour value, pleasant service and diverse menu. Will be back!
Food is so delicious
Love this place.Great service and great food
Deli food disappointing.
The food is way overpriced for what you get. They say they have classic deli sandwiches but these are a far cry from a real ny deli sandwich
The best pastrami this side of NYC! Unbelievable sandwiches.
Disappointing dinner with waitress who was less than xating
Restaurant was very loud when we went for dinner I reserved aable for 11 as we were on holidays with family and decided to get together for a rare supper. They split us up in two separate tables so we couldn't visit. I had a salad with chicken -it was raw. No one even offered to not charge me or replace it-I had to tell them I not paying for it. Not impressed
An unexpected Italian / deli experience in a very touristy area. Pastrami on rye was done correctly with a little fatty pastrami (required for taste and moisture) on white rye with yellow mustard and a pickle. Pasta looked pretty good! Prices a little high, but hey, this is in Waikiki. Service was great.
Great pizza with creative toppings! Would recommend for anyone looking for an authentic hand made pizza. Large menu with lots to choose from to suit anyone.
We had a company vacation in Hawaii and took the group to dinner one night here.
Amazing food and wonderful service.
Great family place. Food was reasonable and good. Seating is awkward but we made do
We have been dining here since they opened. We love their pastrami reubins. They are big enough to share.
This visit the fries were not up to their normal standards. They were overcooked and had lots of small end pieces.
This is a nice sports bar with well seasoned food in large portions. The price is on par with the region. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend this restaurant
Giovanni’s is great for breakfast and dinner.
the Hot Pastrami was barely warm and lacked flavor
Hiu was super attentive!
Great food. Very generous portions.
Wonderful party with fellow Ohio State Football fans. HIghly recommend it if your from Ohio during Collage Football season.
I found this restaurant to be disappointing. I had read the menu ahead and was excited to order the macadamia nut/coconut pancakes. The server informed me they had no sugar-free syrup which I find odd for a restaurant. I was offered honey or fruit, but both contain high amounts of sugar. I had a side of eggs instead. My family ordered an omelet which was mediocre in taste and bacon and eggs. My daughter did not receive hash browns and the server did not ensure she completed her order by asking for all the side orders. We were heading off on a tour and did not want to wait for additional food to be cooked. Our server did not come around often, and the offer of coffee was not made although I finally asked for it. The restaurant was not busy. Even with a 10% discount, we will not be back.
The waitress was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. Food is always good. The only thing that was no up to par was the wait when we first got there. I had made an Open Table reservation and we were there on time. Still had to wait a while because the hostess was on the phone the whole time. A waiter came to assist us, but when I told him I made the reservation on Open Table, he said we had to wait for the hostess. We waited a few minutes longer, then finally someone else seated us. Hostess was still on the phone.
Overall a solid stand-by restaurant for Waikiki; relatively easy to get in on a week night and prices are reasonable. I had the Pastrami Hamburger. Unfortunately, like most places in Honolulu, the burger wasn't cooked to my order (medium rare). Last time I order a burger! Even the Loco Moco burger (previous trip) was over cooked. Next time, no burger!
The pastrami reubens are to die for, the serving sizes are generous and we have always liked the relaxed friendly atmosphere. The pizza and pasta are delicious too. In this pocket of Waikiki, the food here is much better than Yardhouse or PF Changs.
Appreciated wait staff's recommendations regarding drinks and food.
Offered to replace repeat of side dish, although was not done. Once brought to staff's attention, immediately replaced. Overall experience was great, regardless!
Quick service, very good food. Pastrami sandwich was a bit fatty.
Food was great, hence the 4 for that. Service; however, was non-existent. Saturday night in Waikiki. I get it. Nearly 24 hours later I'm still not sure who our server really was. Had to send up a flare to get served and order. No offer for refills entire meal. No offer for condiments during meal. Had to ask for check or might still be there. Overall, a 2 because the food was good and some of the staff tried to save the night. But it came off more like butt covering than an explanation.
Garlic shrimp over cooked. Nothing stood out to me as a great experience here.
