Giorgio's Ristorante & Martini Bar - Merrimack, NH Ratings and Reviews
Long time since we've eaten at Giorgio's & we were both pleased with our choices. My date ordered the butternut squash ravioli while I had the fettuccine with arrabitta sauce and italian sausage. It was nice & spicy without being overwhelming. The portions were large enough so that we had enough left over for lunch the next day. Our server, George, and everyone else there were friendly and took good care of us.
Cozy setting with plenty of parking. Don't let the strip mall set up fool you, Giorgio's serves up some very good food at affordable prices. Server was attentive, and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Only concern was that seven of us were cramped into a corner unit with five on the bench and two in chairs. Not easy for maneuvering in and out of bench seats.
Unbelievable food. Best around, even better than boston restaurants. Delicious, fresh, authentic dining. Staff is always wonderful. Can't wait to go back again!!! Lobster ravioli is incredible. Seafood florentine, best I've ever had. Mussels are as fresh as it gets. Everything is amazing. Food is always perfection, never leave feeling unsatisfied. I can't say enough wonderful things about Giorgios. It's above and beyond anything I've had before!!
The food was very good. We arrived after 2pm on memorial day weekend and was very quiet. They had closed the dining area at 2pm but they accommodated us and allowed us to sit in the the dining room vs the bar. While this is referred to as a Mediterranean most of the offerings leaned towards Italian. While there are some offerings, I would like to see more Greek and traditional Mediterranean on the menu.
The staff was very pleasant, drinks were excellent, the Manhattan's and Margarita's were mixed perfectly.
Went to celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and children. I booked a reservation through the website and were seated promptly. The service was extremely slow probably due to the holiday. I would have suggested that they have two or three more servers for this busy evening. Appetizers came out promptly along with the drinks. We then waited for 30 minutes for our entrees. I had the lamb special ordered sent back due to it being way over cooked. My family continued eating while I waited another 25 minutes for the meal to be re-cooked. The second go around was no better as it was way undercooked/raw. Desert was also another 30 minutes to deliver leaving us anxious to leave. The price was reasonable and we were given a $20 gift card for the slow service and the miscooked meals. It was a huge damper to our celebration.
We had know problem with Giorgio's, our problem was with opentable
We made our reservation on opentable, confirmation # 1795162571, we received no points for dining at opentable restaurant.
I emailed opentable three times to find out why we did't get points, but got no response. What is the sense of making reservations on opentable, if you aren't going to earn points.
We made a last minute decision, after a stressful day. We were greeted with a smile and seated right away. By the time our drinks arrived, the day was starting to fade. By the end of the meal, including baklava ice cream (yum!) the day was a worry no more. Thanks for a great evening
We are so lucky to have such a restaurant in Milford. Big city decor, in a small town. Casual dining prices, but far superior food and expensive-restaurant service. They obviously take good care of their staff, because they get and keep the best. I take business associates here all the time for lunch, and meet friends here for celebrations. Great place for a date. Try the steak tip salad, the flatbread and other pizzas. All of the parmesan entrees. Steak Tips Costa. I have them cater special events-perfectly. Great idea for deserts--in addition to normal deserts, their bite-sized options fare often just enough. I can not recommend them enough. Go here first.
First time dining here. Won't be the last. The bacon clams and linguine were excellent. Decent service but I found the explanations of the specials a bit confusing. OK selection of wines by the glass, nothing spectacular but what is available is reasonably priced.
Food was excellent, if you get a booth then the back of the booth is shared with next booth and if the other person decides to rock or push on the back then is extremely annoying so moral is ask for a table instead.....If it wasn't for the excellent food this review would not be positive
Fantastic food and atmosphere. We have been here several times, usually just the two of us, but this time we brought the kids. They did have a kids menu with several good options and our kids loved it. Our server was quick and attentive and my husband and I were able to have a nice kinda-date, even with the kids tagging along. The drinks are fantastic too!
We arrived early for reservation, and were immediately seated. For this, I am grateful. Service started off great, but my fiancee's meal was served under cooked (chicken). After returning with a whole new meal for her 20 minutes later (it couldn't have been microwaved?), we then ordered dessert and coffee. I order espresso, and my fiancee ordered cappacino. I got regular black coffee instead. I chose not to point out error.
With the meal being served as it was, I would have been pleased to have been comped on at least the dessert and coffees. Our (overpriced) bill came to us with all items charged.
We had a party of 2 near us with similar difficulties, although I feel they were being overly critical.
Bottom line is that we will not be back. Money is tight for us now, and we have high expectations for our rare evenings out.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback.
Clean restaurant. Good service. Bread was good. There was no fresh iced tea, only the stuff that comes out of the soda gun. The $16 manhatten was nowhere near worth the price. It was weak like it was shaken with ice. The chicken marsala had the lipton onion soup mix taste to it. The steak tips didn't have much juice to them, kind of dry. I would give them another chance, but i'd try something with a red sauce next time. I didn't stiff the waitress on the tip, she was good but the food/drinks lacked.
