I got a reservation for friends in town, so the ratings are second hand, but they loved it. The food was, and they loved the ambiance. I will be trying Giorgio's myself some day.

It's not easy booking restaurants living in another country and depend largely on great reviews.
Giogio's did not disappoint. The restaurant looked after my Boss and his guests so incredibly well and they had a wonderful evening having flown in from all over to attend this particular dinner. I called the restaurant to reiterate it was a business dinner/ celebration - Giorgio's took it all on board and my Boss had nothing but praise for the entire experience, food excellent and service was outstanding. Thank you Giorgio's for making me look good.

I had been to the restaurant once before and had an AMAZING experience. I took a date there this past Saturday night. We had the sirloin for two. The temperature when it was served was precisely as ordered. The food overall was a cut above what you would expect for a moderately priced restaurant.
We were greeted by a host that was congenial, accommodating and genuine. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive, but not obtrusive.
This restaurant has made it to my list of 'got to' spots in NYC.

Food and service were both 5 stars! Definitely save room for the Smores Bread Pudding dessert.

Always a wonderful meal with attentive service. Luba, the new hostess was welcoming and checked with us several times during our meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. She even put the A/C when the room became a bit too warm. We have been dining here for many years and are always happy when we do.

It was a very pleasant evening. Not very crowded early on a Sunday evening, so it was very quiet. I don't know what the noise level would be if the restaurant were full.

Very welcoming atmosphere, extremely accommodating and attentive service from a very friendly and pleasing staff. Ambiance quite comforting, lighting appropriate and noise level OK. Can be intimate or businessy depending on where you sit. Food is very good with only a few missteps. Highlights include yummy charred B sprouts and a crunchy sweet beet salad slightly over dressed and tad oily. Vegetarian cappellini workmanlike but tasty and rosy duck breast pan fried to perfection with nice Port reduction. Unfortunately the accompanying pumpkin puree was too sweet and mushy and mostly inedible. Strawberry tres leches cake for dessert was supernal, as were the generous and fairly priced gin martinis. A great place to relax with friends and enjoy caring service in a nurturing environment

Giorgio's proved to be a great local find. The menu has a large amount of seafood choices, and a very good wine list. Our waiter James was excellent and very personable. The table seating is a bit tight, but we had an early 6 pm reservation and it wasn't an issue until we were ready to leave as tables filled up quickly. All of our dinners were excellent quality

I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday and it was a fantastic experience. Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The waitress overheard that it was my sister's birthday and came out with a dessert on the house with a candle in it after we finished dinner! I will definitely be going back again soon!

Everything was excellent. Shared a beet salad, ordered veal osso buco and sea bass special, shared tiramasu for dessert. Service was the best experience of any other location in the city. Was the first time at Giorgio's, but would certainly return often. Would recommend it to everyone.

A great restaurant with excellent service. Selection of affordable sandwiches is good. My only problem was that they make a Rueben with pastrami not corned beef and, although it was good, I still prefer it the original way.

We had a wonderful dinner at Giorgio’s celebrating 3 birthdays. Our waitress was great, the wine she recommended was amazing and we all enjoyed our dishes. Especially good was the black cod served with a bed of ‘lobster mash’ (mashed potatoes with lobster pieces-yummy). We’ve been here before and loved the comfy banquet seating and ambience. We will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant is very charming with dark red walls and tables not too close. If you like Sinatra, as i do, they play a lot of him, also the music overall is the great American soing book. . fine if you a baby boomer or older. F ood -- just OK. You cannot get served dinner before 5:30. No warning about this. Prices are a little high, but bearable. Easy acces from the R train.

Both my friend and I agree, one of the best meals we've ever had. Similar meals elsewhere could cost twice as much. Service was incredible, we recieved amazing reccommendations and lots of attention. We werent rushed at all and had a great time.

This used to be a fantastic standby, outperforming peers in the area. Nlearly no longer. The restaurant needs an update. The restaurant was too dark, and had a musty smell to it. The service was overbearing and irritating, while busing of table was ready to take plates before everyone at the table was done. The appetizer was cold, when it was meant to be hot. The main course was fine, but nothing terribly special. Overall, not a place I would revisit.

Loved it! Everything we ate was overly delicious. Appetizers, 4 different entrees and the s'more bread breeding. The waiter was the best one we ever had. Friendly, impformative but not in our way. Mentioned we were going to a Paul McCartney concert and he put on a Beatles playlist.
When we arrived at 5 on Sunday afternoon we were the only ones there. Was surprising but filled up as we were leaving. Looking forward to returning.
