The cocktails are really great with many created on site. The place is always fun with high energy .
Great experienced wait staff with reliably good Italian food
Excellent food and service. Interior of restaurant is dated and in need of renovation.
My go to restaurant for over 20 years ! Never fails! Always excellent !
Didn’t rush us at all
Table size way to small for four people
Server was very pleasant tried super hard- wouldn’t say he was bad but could have been a little more professional.
Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Highly recommend!
Hands down, favorite restaurant! The staff is warm and engaging. The vibe is always fun, and the food is devine! My favs: Roasted Oysters, Burrata, Rabbit Ragu, Gnocchi, Lamb, Veal Parm, Chocolate Bread Pudding, Tres Leches
Staff was attentive and helpful.
This is one of the few restaurants in the city that has continued to do what they do without compromising their standards throughout Covid. They have not scaled down the menu and the level of care in service and attention to detail in creating a comfortable setting both indoors and outdoors is truly remarkable. We visited on a busy Saturday night, so we did wait a while for food and drinks, but our server was sweet and apologetic and the manager personally dropped off our dinners, and assured us that "good things come to those who wait". She was soooo right!
Giorgio’s sets the standard for quality, both in terms of food and service. Their pastas are made in house, fresh and delicious - try the mushroom fettuccine.
If Matt is bartending, make sure you order a vodka martini. He makes one of the best in the city.
The entire staff at Giorgio’s is friendly and warm. If it’s your first time dining, you’ll be back for sure.
One of my favorite restaurants had a really bad night. Drinks and dinner took way too long to be served. I was served the wrong dish and music was way too loud (even though they were playing my favorites). Staff was very friendly but way too busy.
Still one of my favorites downtown and I'll give it one more try but I know my guests will not go back.
Somewhat disappointing experience. Starting with the hostess who had no smile and was so rudely abrupt with us when we arrived early and wanted to sit at the bar. The tables are too small and the space isn’t as pretty as it should be for the prices. Our food was very well prepared but the combination of the small table and the cold staff didn’t work for us. We wouldn’t rush to go back.
The food was only ok. Tables too close and music loud.
Has always been consistently good. Excellent service. Only issue is the blasting music. It was never like that. Can’t have a decent conversation because the music was so loud. No need for that. Should be low in the background.
Great service and great food. This visit I came to Giorgio's with a disabled friend. The staff was so helpful is getting us seated and comfortable.
We surprised our son for a college graduation celebration dinner. He surprised us by bringing along 2 extra guests. The hostess and wait staff were so accommodating to our growing group making our evening and dinner that more special. I love Giorgio’s!
The outdoor area gives ample space for privacy. The wait staff is attentive and efficient. The food was perfect.
Great. Good outdoor seating
Awesome service from Jordan. Great food from the kitchen
Food was good. They offer gluten free pasta, though I didn’t order it. A little confusion about what was gluten free. I ended up having the seafood risotto. It was good, though the sauce was a little salty. All-in-all a good experience.
My husband and I had a fabulous dinner at Giorgio's. Our appetizer and both entrees were delicious and my cocktail, the Lobby Floor was particularly good. The service was impeccable. We never waited for anything but did not feel rushed. Fresh cut cherry blossoms adorned the dining room and the lighting was very romantic. I had read in some reviews of poor service but we felt that the service was exceptional. Not sure why the discrepancy. But we had a great experience.
Great food and great music!
Giorgio's worked hard through the Pandemic to stay open and safe. It is still open and safe, and under the circumstances thriving. Our dinner the other night was outstanding. The food in particular was excellent. The service is friendly AND professional. We ate outdoors, which is never quite as grand as it could be, but it was fine. This restaurant is neighborhood necessity.
Two girlfriends in our 40s catching up for my birthday. Food was delicious. We loved the appetizer options so we did the grilled octopus, burrata and raw oysters (which was one of the specials for the night, not on the normal menu, but they were the best I’ve had a long while) - then we shared the Chilean sea bass (also a special for the night). I hope they add the raw oysters to the main menu because I’d go back every time for the oysters and octopus. Music was a bit louder than I expected, but we got used to it - and the playlist was great. Service was excellent.
I loved Giorgio's. It is a wonderful gem that I had not yet discovered. It has a warm ambience and is small enough to feel like an intimate dining experience. Amy who has overseen the operations for the past 20 years is hospitable, inviting and was attentive to all details of our night there.
Our food server was wonderful, on top of everything we needed and so kind (unfortunately, he did not say his name). Ditto to the busboys and the bartender.
And now, the food -delicious from the homemade pastas to the pear brandy we sipped as an after dinner drink. I loved the lumache pasta, the eggplant caponata, and the salmon but there were mouth-watering specials that evening as well that we were unable to try.
I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back!
Food was great! Atmosphere was nice! Cacio e Pepe was too peppery
Perfect place for Covid compliant get-together with friends. Good food, excellent attentive service...we stayed a long time and did not feel rushed. All in all, a really nice evening.
One of fav restaurants. Great food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend!
The food is outstanding at Giorgio’s! I had the pappardelle rabbit ragu and my boyfriend had the seafood risotto - they were delicious!
Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! Everything was just great. Our meals were delicious and perfectly prepared. Always great service too!
Giorgio’s of Gramercy before the pandemic was an excellent restaurant. In my opinion my experience there was the same or better. There were 6 of us, all vaccinated and everyone really enjoyed their dinners. I had the veal parmigiana, excellent. The other two who had it felt the same. The portion was really large, too.
I don’t remember what my wife had was called on the menu, but it’s the only one that boasts of sea food in a sauce. It had fish, lobster, clams, mussels and shrimp. She loved it. It too was a large portion so we took both leftovers home and had dinner the next night. The rest of our meal was just as good as the first time.
The manager Amy is absolutely the best ever!!
The service and food are superior and better then any upscale expensive restaurant I have been to.
All around an amazing experience!!
What a nice lunch menu! Food and service were excellent. Would definitely return again
Great food and atmosphere. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Fantastic food and service. Can’t wait to go back. Every course was perfection!
Great spot—quickly becoming a neighborhood fav
we had not been to GIORGIO'S in a couple of years so we were delighted to
finally get the chance and sit INDOORS.
Overall everything was fine, staff, food etc., however, needed protocols were in
place, distancing etc., and that was all good. the EXCEPTION to our past dining
experience's was the ceiling LIGHTING, WAY TOO BRIGHT, THESE LIGHTS
WERE OVER THE TABLES, we found that to be awful. I can understand the
pathway coming in and past the kitchen being well lit for the staff to maneuver
but, not needed on dining area side. that would be my only reservation.
however, this will not prevent us going there again.
Giorgio's is a true gem. Fabulous food, drink and service. Everything was delicious but the oysters and chaurcuterie are standouts! Been going here for years and want to return tomorrow! Their outdoor setup is excellent
Dinner took 40 minutes from ordering to receipt. Had to eat gnocchi by scooping it up as they were so overcooked that a fork would not lift them up. Didn’t want to send back and just wait another 40 minutes. People were nice but I pay for the food not people.
60th anniversary, delicious food, friendly and efficient waitstaff.
