Ginza of Tokyo Ratings and Reviews
We dined here to celebrate my husband's MBA. We had a group of 13 including 4 children and had a wonderful time. The adults and the kids loved the hibachi demonstration and the food was spectacular. The staff was great and the service was friendly.
Great for a group celebration!
We went on a Thursday night and it was not crowded at all. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was well prepared and, of course, it was lots of fun to watch the chef! This would be a great place for a group or to take your kids. We are going back this Friday to check out the weekend crowd.
This Is a good restaurant. The hibachi chef was entertaining, and a few different food gags that I hadn't seen before. The food was good and we didn't have to wait around for it. We got right in with our reservation. We also had some sushi rolls and they were really good. I prefer miso to the onion soup they served but that is my only "complaint"
Surprising given it looks like a typical strip mall hibachi joint. I sat at the sushi bar, where the service was not good. I was the only person in the restaurant - except for one other family - and it took forever for them to refill soda or even ask if I needed anything. But, for me, the food trumps all so I give it a very good review as the sushi was pretty good. Mostly mainstream offerings, but a few rolls were unique. Overall, I would go again for the sushi.
service was great. nice waitress and the cook put a good show. steak was excellent... well, we ordered filet mignon and it was priced accordingly, so it had to be good. but salad was pretty awful - it had to be for me not to finish it.
to sum it up - was not happy with overall experience for the price. the place is ok for entertainment and is kids friendly, but needs to be freshened up - looks/smells a little seedy and lacks ambience. if you want a spot for romantic date, go some place else.
