We had just flown in from the East Coast and were looking for something before hitting the hotel. What a home run! Our waitress was great and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend this fine establishment.

Gintei is fabulous. The fish was fresh and delicious- some of the best we’ve ever had. The sushi chefs were kind and interactive with us while we sat at the counter. The service was amazing. Can be pricey, but we don’t regret the splurge at all. Would definitely recommend!

A complete surprise, as we were stuck at the airport and wanted a meal away from the terminal. One of the best sushi experiences we have had. We sat at the counter and watched the masters prepare an amazing and unique meal. The service was impeccable; this small space on a busy road is a hidden gem.

Impeccable service and pristine fish prepared expertly. Open for lunch and dinner. A great non-assuming peninsula spot for sushi that rivals the City. Highly recommend!

Small, authentic and delicious — very professional sushi chefs serving fresh dishes with excellent service. The place is a little deceiving as the exterior of the building on El Camino does not do justice to the quiet, elegant and classic Japanese interior of the place — give it a shot, if in doubt — you will not be disappointed!
