I have mixed reviews about this place. The ambience was nice and the b entertainment as well. However, the service was horrible and food was not as I expected. We arrived at 715 for our reservations and did not get our food until after 845. The manager told us that the order was lost.
Went there last Sunday for brunch. Had one of the best times ever. Food was good, music was terrific, great energy. I would recommend Ginny's to anyone who wants to have a great time!!
Best show ever. I totally recommend it.
Food & Good Music - cant ask for more! The Buffet was good if you like that kind of thing, but the setting and music was top notch - 100% very good value and if you are in Harlem it is a MUST DO!
Great fun, superb music and good food.
The entrance was a bit odd, lots of queueing - That could be much slicker but the overall
Experience was great
This was our most wonderful and memorable experience from our New York holiday.
We absolutely loved the singing and food. We would highly recommend Ginny’s Supper Club to our friends.
Half the food advertised on the buffet was unavailable. It was an awful Christmas day experience. I didn't even eat.
Food was disappointing. I knew it was a buffet, but food was not warm, chicken too long cooked. Twice chicken almost the same taste on buffet is not very creative. No vegetables as a side provided. How can someone with a great Book for cooking serve so bad food? Athmosphere great, wine as well, friendly staff. Wouldn‘t go again or recommend. Very sad.
Very disappointing. We went for their Christmas dinner. The food was just okay, and mine had hair in it. Due to the buffet setup this could’ve been from anyone which I understood but the lack of reaction from staff was very concerning. Naturally after finding hair in my food,my appetite was nonexistent. I didn’t eat any food afterward, barely touched my plate prior to the hair being found, and still charged the 65$ pp charge. Servers seemed to only cater to specific groups or tables, each time we needed something someone had to be flagged down. At some point someone must have noticed or dissatisfaction as we were credited for our drinks but then again that could’ve been a mistake on the servers part since we had to request our drinks from someone else so he may not have been aware we received them. I will say the band and hostess however were extremely nice. But I don’t think we‘ol be returning here any time soon.
We went for Christmas Day lunch. We had a FABULOUS time!! We are thinking now of hosting our wedding after party there! Food, service and ambiance was top notch!!!
Food was not as described. There were no Swedish meatballs and the food was greasy. Music was the only saving grace
We had reservations for 3 for Christmas Day buffet. The food listed on the menu was not available. We had to wait 30 minutes for the buffet to be replenished, and when it was it was not with the options presented on the website for the Christmas Day buffet. The servers were slow and not attentive. Trying to order a cocktail was a challenge.
The music was great and not too loud, but that’s probably to only positive for the visit.
Ginny’s really needs to get it together. $300 for 3 people and we did not even eat what we wanted to eat because it was never brought out or it was substituted for something else. Would not recommend this event to anyone.
We went for the Christmas buffet. They were out of many choices most of the time we were there. They said they were replenishing. A lot of the promised food never made it out. The food that came out was good, but we found with so much missing, the meal was overall disappointing. Had higher hopes for our Christmas meal, especially ar $65 a person plus tip.
Went for the Christmas lunch buffet and it was great. Would definitely come back! Great food, atmosphere, service and live music.
The Christmas lunch was advertised as a buffet, but what they didn’t say was that food would run out and would be replaced with items not on the menu. Some of the dishes they advertised were not there and there were dishes that didn’t seem to go with anything. The service was lackluster for the most part and it took a while for us to get our drink orders in. I don’t think it was worth the money if I’m being honest. Most of what I ate tasted good, but it was solidly average.
Food was fine, ambiance was good, entertainment is what we enjoyed the most. A bit pricey though, Christmas Eve price menu for three, cocktails for two, plus the band charge, we left paying over $300.
My boyfriend and I visit NYC every Christmas for a weekend of holiday cheer. And on our way home we always have brunch at the Red Rooster. This year I suggested we try Ginny's, you know, to change it up. I can not even begin to tell you how moved we were by Sing Harlem's performance! What an outstanding group of young folk, so gifted and talented...we left with our spirits uplifted and our souls nurtured. The staff was so accommodating, kind, and personable. And the food, well I do not have to tell you how fabulously delicious it was. Ginny's is, without a doubt, our new holiday brunch destination. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Awesome, best thing to do in nyc for tourists
Made reservations for Friday night. It was my moms 61st birthday. She loved the drinks, food, music and service. We will be back for Sunday brunch.
We had terrible seats in the corner and at no time in the booking were we informed to reserve a seat. This experience was to celebrate a milestone birthday so was greatly disappointing
I really enjoyed my experience at Ginnys super club ! The reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is becoming our meals came out really late and was not hot . Although this was a bit disappointing the staff was kind and did take care of us for the inconvenience .
The perfect place for a nice evening out with friends...good food and music .
The talented Sing Harlem was fantastically entertaining a true delight!
Wonderful experience - completely lived up to expectations. If we didn’t live so far away, we’d be back more often!
War ein schönes Erlebnis; lifemusic and brunch
Essen war leider nur Mittelmaß und sehr teuer!
Dafür war die Musik toll!
It was very mediocre. Our special wishes for seating were ignored. We were generally ignored which was frustrating given we have loyalty been coming for several years now though this was clearly of no interest to them. The standards are visibly slipping. The food was overpriced and basic. We won’t be coming back.
Excellent venue ... music and ambiance was great but service was way slow.... the waitresses we had were excellent but it seemed as though they were trying to cover to big of an area or 2 many people.
I would definitely go back again but I hope that they have an adequate wait staff next time.
Came here for thanksgiving with my family, we enjoyed the ambience including the live music, there was a buffet which offered a nice variety of food that we all enjoyed. I would definitely come back!
Love this place. The live music was phenomenal. The drinks were flowing and the food was yummy. I would definitely recommend going.
The music was excellent and the food was very good. The food came out of the kitchen a bit cold but the waiter immediately took it back and brought us a newly fired fresh plates of food.
The big band was excellent.
Great great venue. Awesome vibe, incredibly talented musicians, lovely food. Go! Enjoy!
We attended the gospel brunch. We had to wait 20mins upstairs crowded around the bar before being escorted downstairs. The gospel music was awesome but went for a grand total of just 35 minutes. The young singers were extremely talented. That said, everything seemed very rushed and before we knew it it was time to leave so the next session could start. Given the price we thought it represented poor value, sadly.
It was a great night out. It took a little time for the waitress to start the service, but everything was good after she started.
I’m from out of state and heard about the restaurant. I took my husband for his birthday and it was excellent. Food was delicious, service was quick especially during the show. Will go again.
Went with my teenage son for my birthday and to see Emmaline perform. The food was SO good, the service was perfect and the show was amazing. Overall excellent.
The Gospel brunch with Sing Harlem was our top experience in NYC during our 6 days visit.
And we did a lot, and we enjoyed everything A LOT.
But this was magical and a one of a kind experience. I cannot recommend it enough!
This was our first visit in New York and the brunch at Ginny`s supper club was the best for the hole tripp
We should absolut recommend it for friends and also come back another time
We had a blast! For some time now I wanted to come and it was well worth it! We've already told other about going. The music was on point too! The only issue I had was finding somewhere to park.
Great experience! Food and entertainment were exquisite. Can’t wait to visit again.
we totally loved our experience, beautiful music and the energy was electric
