The food and service were excellent. The servers were masking, social distancing was practiced, menus were on our phones, and tables were well spaced. It was as the first time we have gone out to dinner and actually ate inside a restaurant since March.
It was a good experience.
And there are huge tents with lights outside and well spaced tables for anyone who might be uncomfortable inside.

We've been to Gigi's several times and it's one of the better restaurants in the area in terms of interesting food, decent service, and bang for your buck. We really appreciated that they had outdoor seating available and allowed us to book it via OpenTable. Our only issue this visit was that we were seated as 2 people at a 6-top in the sun. There was a 4-top and another 6-top in the shade available we asked if we could sit at instead. We were told that wasn't possible due to "large parties" coming in later. We were offered the choice of picnic tables or staying where we were, so we opted to stay where we were as our clothes weren't conducive to climbing in and out of picnic tables. As the evening went on, we saw the "larger parties" that were seated at the tables we'd requested to move out of the sun to (which also came in later, and stayed later, when the sun might not have affected them as much) and it was a group of 4 and another couple. So, I still don't understand why we were treated as if our request was unreasonable/impossible, but the food was good (especially the peanut butter pie dessert), and they took Covid protocols seriously, which we appreciated.

Another wonderful evening at Gigi’s! I think they have one of the best menus in all of State College. Every menu item we have had has been fantastic! Last night we ate on the patio which was a charming atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly, energetic and helpful. An overall great evening! We will definitely return!

We've eaten here several times and never had a bad meal. Outside dining was enjoyable and relaxing. Social distancing was easy with well placed tables. All servers wore masks, and hand sanitizers were located throughout the premises. For the first time in a restaurant in 4 months due to Covid, we felt "safe"

Food and service was exceptional!

Unfortunately they took us out behind the building to a field next to a car dealership. Tables were set up in a field along with picnic tables under a tent. Not acceptable for the price of the meals. We left disappointed

Good food, good wine, safe atmosphere

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Gigi's made us feel safe and well cared for for our Anniversary celebration! We sat outside on the covered patio. It was slightly raining, and we didn't feel damp at all. The ambiance was lovely with fairy lights and faux fire torches. The staff were properly masked as were all of the customers. The host wiped down the table and chairs before we sat. The food was very good! Very different for Central Pennsylvania. A very nice Anniversary experience.

My husband and I went on a date night to Gigi's. We enjoyed the amazing food and atmosphere. We sat in the outdoor seating area and it was perfect. If you're looking for a different, upscale restaurant in the State College area this is the place for just that. We will most certainly be returning!

The food and the service were phenomenal, as we've come to expect, and the atmosphere, as always, was almost just right. The only thing I'd change (and this is not really a complaint) is number and location of televisions in relation to the seating. We'll certainly happily return to Gigi's, but for us, the TV's are simply a distraction and annoyance. Thanks!

We had the opportunity to sit out back behind the trees, shaded, breeze and a wonderful evening; the service, food and drink was exceptional! Such a nice gem we have so close ~ they are taking every precaution possible to keep customers and themselves safe~

Loved everything about this place! The chef has skills. The gumbo with crawfish had real depth of flavor. The burger was generous and very juicy. Thank you for making our journey in Pennsylvania very special. Our server Willis is exceptional.

First time at Gigi’s everything was great. We will eat there again

This was our second time dining at GiGi’s. It was actually our anniversary, but we had to bring the kiddos along too. GiGi’s was very clean. The server made sure to provide our utensils and other items in a glass jar, as to not touch our items. This was our first dine in experience during COVID-19, I appreciate the extra thought put into keeping us safe.

We ordered fried green tomatoes, basket of biscuits, crab cakes and jerk chicken tacos. Everything was delicious. We will certainly be back for those amazing biscuits.

First time at Gigi,s. Celebrating a birthday. Food was great.

We were pleasantly surprised with the true southern offerings at this restaurant. We lived Alabama for many years and we were very pleased with the true southern tastes here. Gumbo is spicy, desserts were very southern, ambience made us feel like we were back in the South. Food was very good. We will be back.

We ate outside with friends, it was lovely! Two of us had the pork chops, one had crab cakes, and one had the lemon dill salmon- everything was delicious!
The service was excellent! The manager has done an outstanding job during these trying times!

Best brunch ever! Two of us had the green fried tomato eggs benedict and it was so good we will definitely be back for more. Great outside deck to dine on as well.

Brunch was a delicious turn from the normal. While sad to look around the nearly empty establishment, we did enjoy the top notch service and fresh brunch.

We always enjoy dining at Gigi's Southern Table! The food is always great and I love the decor of the restaurant.

We enjoyed a beautiful evening on the back porch eating delicious fish tacos and grilled peach salad and sipping quality glasses of wine.

We loved the restaurant and the atmosphere. We sat out on the patio and had a beautiful delicious dinner :). Highly recommend it! The service was wonderful! Abby was friendly and did a great job!

Great dinner...love the patio atmosphere. Only downer was salty coffee at the end of the meal as someone made the mistake of putting salt in with the sugar! Otherwise, excellent!

We have been once prior and enjoyed Gigi’s. So deciding to enjoy another evening was a great choice. Food is delicious with a nod to low country. We ordered at Prosecco and is was less than cold but very good. Atmosphere and decor is highly appealing visually. It rained so we could not enjoy our outdoor reservation. We plan to return next month with hopefully a sunny sunset. Wait staff was super too!

While most of the food & drinks were fine, my beef was not done to order & had to be sent back. Only one brand of "champagne", was available & it was American.

Gigi's was superb in all aspects...food, service, atmosphere, value. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Our server was awesome, and spaced out food delivery enough to allow us to chat between dishes. We will definitely be returning!

We went in for our Daughter’s graduation dinner. Food was good. Bar was a little slow but overall it was pretty good. I have already recommended it to 2 friends.

The service was particularly outstanding. I recently found that I have high blood pressure. The waiter and the chef were very accommodating in finding tasty and low-sodium options.

Salmon was over cooked but everything else was good.
