Bis 1996 wurden hier noch von Hand Stahl-Armaturen gegossen. Ab 1997 illegale Parties gefeiert und 1999 begann die offizielle Geschichte der Giesserei Oerlikon, wie wir sie heute kennen: Ein innovativer Gastronomiebetrieb mit einzigartigem postindustriellem Charme. Neben dem Restaurant, der Lounge und der Sommerterrasse gibt es diverse Räume für Veranstaltungen wie Hochzeiten, Weihnachtsessen, Seminare, Workshops etc.

    My family dined here our first night in Switzerland. I had reservations somewhere else and changed them last minute to go here. I am so glad I did. The restaurant was such a neat atmosphere. We were seated right away and ordered. The food that came out was absolutely delicious. My husband had salad, fish with lemon risotto. My daughter had pasta and my son tried lamb for the first time. I had chicken stuffed with spinach and a side of lemon risotto. This was the best meal we have eaten so far on our vacation. Then came delicious desserts. We had Affogatos with Amaretto and the chocolate fondant with ice cream, berry compote and whipped cream. I highly recommend this great place to have an amazing meal!

    Ich hätte bei knapp 18 Grad sehr gerne drinnen gegessen und finde es eine Bevormundung, wenn die Bitte mit einem lapidarem "es ist warm genug" quittiert wird. Und die Raucher (Zigaretten & Zigarren) am Nebentisch sind ein No-go!

    Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Der Chef de Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hat uns sehr gut beraten. Die Weine, Hauswein Weiss vom Höngerberg, war super. Rot auch Hauswein Ribero del Duero sehr gut. Das Essen war 1A: Bärlauchsuppe sehr feingemacht, dezente Note vom Bärlauch so das sie nicht überwürzt wirkte. Pasta mit getrockneten Tomaten uns Cherry Tomaten, Spargeln an einem Pesto. Meine Frau war sehr begeistert. Involtini gefüllt mit Spinat dazu Zitronenrisotto mir Spargeln wirklich sehr gut. Falls wir wieder einmal auf Zürich kommen dann gehen wir wieder in die Giesserei. Danke
