Good atmosphere. Packed on a Thursday night. Spectacular steak. Good sides. Good wine list. Entertaining waiter. Fairly pricey but one of the better steaks I’ve had.

We always enjoy Gibson’s, this was another good experience. When we arrived, our water cups were dirty. The waiter went to the back and brought new waters but again the cups had debri floating in them. We ordered some food, which was good recommendations from the waiter. After ordering we were told that we would have a waiter change up, but we still saw our waiter walking around. For a while we had a new waiter who I think was a manager as well as the manager and the lady manager. Not sure who all is who, but everything was taken care of. My man got the whole order of ribs but they weren’t very meaty. They were mainly fat and bone. My food was fantastic, I had the jumbo lump crab cakes. We went to the Live Pete show to finish the evening. It was a lot of fun as usual! I personally think your food is priced correctly but your alcoholic beverage prices are over priced. The wine prices look average, but the drinks are small like visiting a casino and priced $11-$16. I expect more beverage for that amount. That is my only concern. Cheers!

We seemed to catch a bad waiter on this visit. 5 minutes before we were approached for drinks 20 more minutes before he came back for our order. 30 minutes more for food to arrive. 3 times I had to ask for steak sauce and then had to have a bus boy track him down for our check. Very unusual service for this place Usually on top of everything. Poor service

This is what customer service should be. Gibson's staff is great, food top rate but pricey. Special thanks to Daniel K, Samantha S, and Kay. Just a great dinner place. Thanks to great management. See you next month. Luisa and Tom Kevil.

Great dinner experience for me and my family. The food was great and our waiter and other staff members did a fantastic job. Looking forward to the next opportunity to make diner arrangements at Gibson’s

Once a year my Significant other and I go to Gibson’s Rosemont. Timed on the same date as the Chicago scuba show, Our World Underwater. This is an event for us, known to all our friends, we look forward to as we don’t typically include red meat in our diets. Its our annual reward. This is possibly the best steak on the planet. For whatever reason though, the host on more than one occasion seated us at the table immediately outside the kitchen door. When he heard me say that the last time I was seated there, every time servers passed they hit my chair the busser said it was the worst seat in the restaurant. I moved to the other side of the table, four top for the two of us, and found I might as well have been sitting with two tables next to us. The noise level from the cross talk made it very difficult to hear the conversation at my own table. Getting past the seating and the noose, the service, 14oz filets, and Martinis met my expectations for the highly anticipated annual dine at Gibson’s.

1) My wife could not be seated while I parked the car. Yet the couple next to us were seated w/1 of the 2 in their party present within 20min of us. The inconsistency is more annoying.
2) Tables are so uncomfortably close together they nearly touch, the chairs between tables definitely do. Cannot stretch your arm or put a jacket on or off without hitting someone.
3) Food is overpriced for the area by 20-25%. A dozen oysters... $40... not even shucked properly, lots of shell granules inside
4) Bread is served cold
5) WR cut steak wasn’t very juicy, served on a room temp or cold plate? Meat quality was just okay.
6) Happy B-day song sung every 5min, very loud and disturbing yell
7) Parking is ridiculous. $15 in the burbs? There’s no sign that says valet is complimentary but it is. You have to park in a garage that’s no less than a third of a mile walk. You can’t easily exit the garage right back to the restaurant to pick someone up, You have to exit the garage and drive around Rosemont for about five minutes until you can get back to the restaurant after four or five turns down three roads.
8) Not trying to sound pretentious but I drive a $160k car but cannot leave it up front cause there are Chevy trucks and other cars parked up front. Not sure if there is a criteria to have a car parked out front but it would be nice from a security perspective to keep a closer eye on more exotic vehicles

Overall a really poor experience. I like Gibsons at other locations but I probably will not return unfortunately.

Gibson’s service and food are consistently excellent! This was our second visit and our expectations were exceeded in service and food quality. We ordered the filet mignon which was prepared to our liking. The sides are alacarte and are large enough for two to three people to share. The waitstaff is also up front about the portions so it makes it easy for a first time visitor. I am fortunate to dine at many of the upper scale restaurants and can personally say that for the money, Gibson’s is hands down the best value for both food quality, quantity and service!

Gibson's is Gibson's. You'll always get attentive service and a good cut of meat. Lunch menu isn't as extensive as the dinner menu but still a nice selection. Noise level is a bit high but that is commonplace these days.

Hugo was the man. Steaks unbelievable, as always. So much flavor in a plain hunk of USDA Grade A Beef. Apps, sides, wine- excellent. Will be back here for our next special occasion.

The quality of the food and the attentive service is what you're here for. Its a very popular joint for that reason and this is where the noise and commotion of delighted diners fuses together to make a terrific dinning experience over a romantic one. I booked a table for 2 at Rosemont for Valentine's day via Open Table - worked like a charm.

Sandy was our hostess and amazingly good and friendly and funny.

Portions are HUGE. Very expensive so we come for a special occasion.

Asked for a slice of carrot cake to go and got 1/4 of a three layer cake - We are still eating it 3 days later.

Everything was just ok- nothing memorable except our server was cocky. Food is overpriced. Drinks are overpriced. Overall nothing spectacular or worth the 45 minute drive it took to get there. Still glad I went so I know now, but I won’t be back. There’s plenty of steakhouses by me that are just as good, and not as expensive.

It was a little cramped in the restaurant which made it a bit hard to move around or to pass through. This was my first time there and I will most likely go again with my husband but maybe at a different location. The food was amazing and the portions were plentiful. Overall it was a great experience.

Took wife for a nice dinner. Service was great. Professional and pleasant. Steak was very good and well prepared. Price was laughable being that I come from a farm and know the price of meat, but not afraid to pay for a good meal. This is where I had an issue. Bread was horrible. Hard as a rock, bland and we couldn't enjoy it. Veggies were ok, just ok. Mashed potatoes could have been from a school cafeteria.
If you are going to drop $200 on dinner, you don't expect poor bread, poor sides, and being squeezed into a seat next to someone so close they can hear you whisper.
For all the hype, we were very disappointed.
Server was great. Professional, timely and knew the menu well.
