My wife and I went with another couple. Everything we ordered, from salad to dessert was excellent. But the tables were much too close together in the dining room. The woman in the other couple had to get up several times to let people through.

Always a good meal and vey accommodating . We were four people and everyone had something different and asked for changes in the preparation. In each case no problem and the request was accommodated.

This was the first time friends had been to the restaurant and were very happy with the meal and the experience.

My girlfriend invited me out to celebrate her birthday, as we visited this restaurant in May to celebrate mine. We were very impressed the first time we dined here, with both the service and food quality. We had two fish dishes and were very pleased and shared a dessert. We certainly plan to visit again, at our next special occasion.

Giardinetto is a neighborhood restaurant with fine food, a pleasant friendly atmosphere and a most accommodating staff. They are always anxious to please. The veal was excellent, and could be cut with a fork. The shrimp were large, tender and well prepared.

The chicken liver appetizer was delicious and could feed more than one person. Portions were more than ample. A great neighborhood find.

I picked this place to take some friends from out of town who were staying near JFK. I was pleasantly surprised, considering I picked this restaurant based on online reviews and had never been there. The prices were great, the wait staff very attentive, and the food was very good. Too bad it's not closer to home!

It was quite a pleasant surprise to receive delicious, scrumptious, homemade pasta with my Osso Bocco dish. My friend ordered Branizzi (whole fish), and it was fresh and melt in our mouth smooth. Very well done dishes. The service staff was courteous, funny, and friendly, which adds to this gem of a restaurant in a residential neighborhood. Wonderful experience and would definitely take my parents there when they visit Long Island from California.

I dined at Giardinetto with my girlfriend for a post birthday celebration. We were seated promptly and had several attentive waitstaff assist us during our stay. I was a member of their BDay Club and was offered a free entree with the purchase of an entree. We started with a lovely salad and both had firsh dishes, both of which were delicious we then shared a nice dessert. The food tasted flavorful and fresh and we left feeling satisfied and did not have that heavy feeling of eating too much. We had just the right amount and walked away very pleased. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Normally food and service is outstanding. My last visit we had to wait and wait and wait, It took close to 1 1/2 hours to get our food. Main course took close to 1 hour after apps....
Not sure why but out of the ordinary for this great restaurant.

Giardinetto is a nice restaurant in an area that has few and far between nice restaurants. People want to please. We had the beef carpaccio that was probably very good, but the taste was overridden with balsamic vinegar. The Caesar salad had a tasty, creamy dressing, and the lettuce was very fresh. The pasta fresco was overcooked, but the sauce and seafood was good. The whole bronzino grilled with herbs was amongst the delectable and freshest we've had.

Delicious specials coupled with solid menu items, all extremely tasty. A semi hidden gem tucked away in a neighborhood setting. Meticulous attention to detail with competent and attentive staff. A must have is the bolanese sauce over pasta and any chicken or pork dish. Desserts are somewhat boring.

The waiters were very attentive to our needs and the food was good. We could enjoy each other's company because the noise level was down.
Everyone of us seemed to enjoy what we ordered.
