Giardina's, one of the Mississippi Delta's most historic restaurants, was founded in 1936 by Joseph Giardina, in Greenwood, Mississippi. A unique blend of sophistication and warmth, Giardina's is the perfect setting for any event. Seating consists of fourteen private booths and the large dining room opens onto a beautiful courtyard. The restaurant's interior space and state-of-the-art kitchen were designed by world-renowned architects. Considerable effort was made to retain the character and charm of the original Giardina's, but the white tablecloths and fine crystal add the feeling of elegance one would expect from a fine dining restaurant in a large metropolitan area. Giardina's bar, reminiscent of a bygone era, features the same dark wood and tile of the restaurant while offering today's premium liquors, wines and liqueurs. Featuring steaks, seafood and Italian cuisine, Giardina's atmosphere is old world elegant but dress is laid-back "Delta casual.”

    I excellent Server and wonderful cuisine. It would be nice to offer more cuts of beef. Strips, T Bones, Porterhouse and allow the customer to ask for larger cuts of Filet. All good.

    Great Menu with a big variety to choose from. We did small plate and everything was delicious. Love the privacy this restaurant offers!!! A very good place to propose or just have a very romantic dinner. Would especially recommend if your staying at the Alluvian.

    Overall nice but was expecting a fine dining experience-a little more casual but was okay- Like the privacy - staff was nice - Waitress was new a little too casual but nice and friendly - Would go back

    party of four I had the grouper with rice. it was good my wife had chicken parm with angel hair pasta; it was great. my brother had the blackened catfish, it looked good, must have been his plate was clean my sister in law had shrimp and grits. another great choice. our Waitress "V" was a delight. always ahead of our needs. i would ask for her on next visit.

    Visited for my birthday and we loved our meal. The food was delicious. My only issue was this was our first visit and we were seated in one of the "closets" and I did not like that. There should be some sort of option when booking a table to not be put in a closet to eat. We will be back - I will just call the restaurant so we can be seated in the open dining. PS Just because you are in one of the closets doesn't mean your conversation is confidential-- we could clearly hear some ladies from town"s conversation verbatim. So, don't say anything you don't want repeated.

    The best part of the evening was Tanya, our server --- there are not enough stars to rate her. I ordered a Gin Gimlet at the bar - was told they could not make a Gin Gimlet --- WTF? The Caesar Salad was not - it was just chopped up lettuce with a dressing. The steak was a little chewy - but had great flavor Would have liked a little bread - the basket of crackers wasn't much. and most were broken pieces But again, the service was OUTSTANDING/TERRIFIC - 10 stars out of 5 All in all, it was a pleasant evening - and we'll be back
