Food and decor amazing. The loud noise coming from the streets was horrible. Don’t know how this place will stay in business. The crowds you have get around to enter this beautiful place are scary.
Food was good but portion size was really small . I was very pleased with the lobster cocktail from the raw bar section of menu , great presentation and a lot of meat. The 24 karat margarita was really good also . The gnocchi dish was extremely small but rich , the lamb chops were good but could’ve been better with some flavorful seasonings .
A great evening from start to finish. Excellent service by Robert. Food is great. We started out with the octopus, fresh not overdone, just right.
We then had the Bronzino and daily special of a dry aged NY Strip. Both came out excellent. For dessert we had the Triple Mousse “Temptation” sprinkled in Gold.
Ambiance is unique & upscale. The photos show how impressive it is but even better once you’re there. The house is designed beautifully. And don’t worry, you can still take great pics at night since it is well lit up on all corners.
You will see couples, small groups and families in the dining area. So it’s for everyone, as long as you’re well dressed.
Tip & tax are already included so you don’t have to do the math.
No matter what the occasion, it will be a memorable experience once you’re inside. Have a good time!
The food, service, and location was spectacular. Will be back.
Amazing experience and unforgettable!
Steak over cooked. Risotto was so salty it was inedible. Service and atmosphere was great.
Eating at Giannis is more of an experience than a meal. When we walked in we felt the greeters were indifferent. They told us to sit down in the courtyard and wait — a little bit like a medical appointment. But they are harried because many gawkers are constantly trying to peek in and check out the glamorous setting.
Our server was polite but it took about ten minutes before he appeared. I think he was new.
The real kick to the place is the guests. The women dress up, and the guys wear their newest kicks, which is fun. But then they spend lots of time taking pix to post. A couple of couples pranced around so much I wondered if they ever ate!
We were surprised at how delicious our food was. My husband had a ribeye and I had prawns.
The place is over the top and the prices are, too. If you’ve ever wanted to be a celebrity or take a Kardashian on a date, Gianni’s is your place.
Fun to be at the Versace Mansion and I recommend going once. But it is very expensive ($26 for a vodka tonic) and the food is mediocre.
To me, best restaurant in Miami when comparing all factors. Awesome place all in all!
Giannis was fabulous. Everything was amazing and our server was extremely accommodating. The only complaints I have are super minuscule: there was a club next door that was extremely loud & playing very vulgar songs which you don’t exactly want to hear while having a nice meal, and the wait was kind of long. Our reservation was at 9:30 and we didn’t get seated until 10:45, even though we showed up at around 8:30. Other than those two things, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend everyone to go there for the experience.
Amazing food and service. We had the by far the best table whi h was infront of the fountain. Staff were very helpful and attentive.
It was a magical experience. The staff is lovely and have great patience with the guests. The atmosphere is amazing. It's too bad that there was hip hop outside of the Mansion. The bass echoed across the patio. But that's nothing anyone can control. I love this place. I will be coming back!
Best spaghetti and tomato soup I've ever had in my life! Definitely recommend!
The atmosphere was second to none! Very impressive! The cocktails were excellent, as was the food, but the portion sizes were on the small size. While the service was good, it was not exceptional. We had to ask for our candle to be lit and for bread to be served (it was on other tables) about three times before he brought it.
People come to Gianni’s because it’s in the mansion. The venue is amazing but the service was subpar. Our waiter was not attentive and never warmed up to us. Obviously the food was too expensive for the small portions but we were prepared for that.
We had a lovely time and our server was excellent. Top notch experience, bathrooms were amazing. Will return
Best ambiance and service. The food prices are outrageous and the taste was mediocre.
I must say that my meal (Australian Lamb Chops) was extremely salty. I was also thrown a little after having a couple drinks at the bar and then seeing the 22% service charge that we automatically added. That seems high for a drink at a bar. I asked our waiter if the lamb chops were normally very salty and he said no they should not have been. I did not send them back because I did not speak with our waiter about my entree until after we were finished with our dinner. He said he would let the chef know it was overly salty. I found that to be a little off-putting that a small jester like a desert or something wasn't offered especially at a place like that. Overall our experience was really good but I would have made it known to our waiter mush sooner that my meal was so salty.
Get the filet Mignon !!!!
I went Gianni’s for dinner with my fiancé to celebrate our anniversary and we had a fantastic time! It was more than just a dinner, it was an experience. The mansion is absolutely breathtaking and surprisingly serene considering it’s in the heart of South Beach. The 24k golden margarita was delicious and our food was excellent. Service was outstanding. There was even a cat named Donatella wandering around. We will definitely be back.
Very small plates. Had to eat a box of cookies in hotel after because I was still hungry.
This experience was beyond my expectations! A surreal memory! Stays true to Versace’s vision. Only complaint was reg coffee was $7
It is definitely a place you have to visit when in Miami. I enjoyed the food, the service was great as well as the staff, very welcoming! I really enjoyed my time while there, everything was very clean and the environment was phenomenal. My waiter was ISRAEL and he attended to our needs was very attentive and he even offered to move us to the indoor dining room since it was a bit windy. I will definitely return and will recommend!
Had a great time at first as the server was lovely and very accommodating. After dinner was trying to take some photos and was kicked out. - not appreciated at all.
Everything was good - the experience was what made it but I highly recommend they should wash the lettuce before serving — lots of sand !
Was there for my girlfriends Birthday. A++ service.
It is expensive but the setting is beautiful & you get to look around the house which is a little piece of history. Well worth the money.
Had a great evening here. I recommend getting a table poolside as you can get some beautiful photos. The food was very good and service was great. The Tuna tartare was my favourite dish there. It's too bad that you can't explore more of the mansion... But understandable as its a hotel and they don't want to disrupt the guests. A weird thing was that there are 3 cats in the mansion and they get quite fiesty with each other while we were dining.
Wagu beef was melt in your mouth delicious served with foie gras. Excellent pairing! A generous serving of Key West prawns were as big as lobster tails and perfectly cooked. The ambience is out of this world elegant, perfectly lit. We dined in the garden courtyard next to the pool. Prior to being seated, we had two margaritas with gold shavings and a tab that came to $68. They added a 22% gratuity. Not even in New York did I ever see a gratuity of 22%! Have a drink elsewhere as the bar is least interesting room.
Every time we travel to Miami, which is almost every month, we go to Gianni. Love the place. If it was in NY, we would go there more often. The only thing was a disappointment is pasta.....overcooked and cold
Do not go with an appetite. Very small plates for a lot of money and the wine is grossly overpriced. Expect to pay 20-25$ for a mediocre glass of wine. You are paying for the ambience and the experience. On the plus side, you won’t be disappointed with the ambience.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE. Everything Gianni's is summed up to be. Service was A1, it was, only complaint I had is the pasta portion could have been improved, however the taste was out of this world. For sure will come back again, and get to see Versace the cute cat that walks around the dining area. I reccomend getting there around 6:30-7:00pm. Much better than Red the steak house down the road when it comes to value
We absolutely loved it!
This place had sub par food and was over priced. Portion size was not great either. I won’t be back.
Great food. Iconic location. Highly recommended. Pricey but definitely worth it.
Very poor hosting service - u welcoming unlike at most fancy restaurants of Miami. Sad experience. Would not come back
Beautiful scenery! The food was overall very good. The servers were very attentive. Enjoyed my dinner 😋
The restaurant ambiance and food was wonderful. The only downside was that we had made a reservation for 8:30pm and were not sat until at least 9:10. I understand that sometimes you may have to wait but it seemed as though they were seating people who arrived later than us. My only suggestion would be to call ahead and have them note if you would like to sit outside. But overall everything went well once we were seated.
Expensive but the surroundings were unique. I would recommend everyone go to it at least once for the unbelievable setting.
Everything was wonderful. It was my birthday and my husband took me to dinner to celebrate.
I had the kosher rib eye. it was a treat
one thing. could have done with out the CAT
