Excelente la burrata y la mousse de 3 chocolates es IMPERDIBLE.
I wanted to take my boyfriend somewhere really nice. He isn't from Miami, so I wanted him to see a landmark. He was thoroughly impressed, as well as I. It isn't cheap. But, I think its worth every penny. I truly enjoyed the experience of this dinner.
Nice setting but awful experience. One main came at the end of the three other diners meals
Amazing views, great staff, the best service!
Amazing an experience of a lifetime
Way overpriced for the mediocre quality of the food, the place is very nice as ne can expect but the prices are completely out of range with the quality of the food. $350 total bill which included 2 overcooked tasteless risottos...:-(
My first experience here was about 8 years ago when under the Barton G organization and it amazing, the food, service, atmosphere, exclusivity everything about the dinner was wonderful.
Now that it's changed hands, it's a typical South Beach tourist trap restaurant. VERY disappointing and definitely won't be going back.
Ambiance was gorgious and the food delicious. We loved it!
Ate here several times.
Best dish to order here is the bone in rib eye steak & roasted asparagus. Delicious! I found other dishes not as good.
I loved the view and the cats walking around .. the food was great ! Awesome experience
The atmosphere was amazing even though it was raining. It is Versace's mansion - of course the atmosphere was amazing. The dinner itself was ok. The main course came out before we were even able to take a bite out of the bread from the bread basket. It made us believe that the food was already prepared and just needed to be reheated in a microwave or in an oven, instead of made-to-order. The bread was also stale. They didn't rush us out which was nice. But I think the food wasn't worth the price and I understand you are really just paying to say you dined in the Versace mansion. We timed dinner from the moment we sat until we were given the check - 55 minutes. The valet - we waited and waited. No one came. It started to rain. I was driving a Nissan Rogue. Still no one to valet could be found. A red Ferrari pulls up behind us and valet comes to greet them. The passenger in my car had to get out of the car i the rain to flag the valet person to let him now we were waiting. She ended up going to the host podium to tell them we wanted to valet our car. They told her to wait and someone would come. Those were the only issues. If you are looking to tour the mansion you can probably do that without having to dine there.
It was memorable
Very slow service needed utensils asked for ice ice was brought never served attention to detail was missing food was overpriced for the quality. I had requested to sit outside visiting from the East Coast did not realize how humid it would be on a cloudy day when it was gonna rain we were put in a private room with no AC just a fan I really wish I was informed ahead of time to make the choice to sit inside or stay outside.
Gorgeous place with a lots of history!
Very unprofessional management and stuff!
Food........... not much to say and not very memorable for 200$ per person!!!
The service was excellent. Atmosphere was beautiful as expected. The food exceeded my expectations. Had the wagyu filet & it was the best steak I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend.
The only thing that was actually good about the whole experience was being in Versace’s mansion.
Over priced food with no taste and small portions. Had an 85$ bottle of wine that is 12$ in the store.
Too many people jammed in with too many tables.
Wonderful experience, we all felt like we were honored guests. Server was attentive, patient, and even took pictures for us. The weather was perfect for this open air poolside dining, even the 2 cars roaming around were friendly. Little noise heard from Ocean Dr on a Saturday evening, had a fantastic time and was a memorable birthday evening. Expensive but we knew that.
Best meal beautiful surroundings ambiance wine wait staff you have it all thank you!
Incredible ambience. The mansion is spectacular!! We were seated on the terrace, better option as you can see everything. Food was good and flavourful. Presentation was nice.
House and pool are beautiful. The food and presentation should have been much better for what the price dictates. The steaks were not cooked to desired temp and one was tough, the risotto was too thick, and it looked like a four year old plated our scallops. Understand that you are going here for the atmosphere and not the food you will not be disappointed. (Desert was the exception, great presentation)
Amazing ambiance and a great experience... We went with a group of 8 and all loved it!
Tourist trap. Overpriced drinks. Food came out cold. no apology.
Fantastic food. Scallops appetizer a must have! Service in the Restaurant was exceptional, hostess lacking in customer service, not one polite gesture between 3 of them...Guess this is how they deter non-diners? Alfresco dining in the courtyard very romantic, handcrafted cocktails were well prepared, and nothing felt overly pricey. Overall experience very, very worth it!
Amazing venue and great food. Service was lacking for a dining experience of this caliber.
Service was slow but everything else was amazing!! So cool!
Very disappointing. The food was at most average. Definitely not worth the $$. The service was terrible. I waited with an empty drink for 40 minutes, our waiter hardly came up. My husband had to stop him as he walked past our table for the 50th time and ask for a drink. Gratuity was already included so the waiters could care less. We didn't expect the food to be top notch like most restaurants in Miami but at least we hoped for an interesting experience. The waiter didn't share any info about the house or any history. When you go to a historical location like this, you expect to hear some interesting details at least if your food and service sucks. If you want to see the mansion stop by during the day and go to the bar and take some photos. Don't waste your money on dinner.
Amazing night. It was very loud but not their fault at all there was a festival blasting music across the street. Great place.
We had a great dinner at Gianni’s. The food was great and staff were helpful. Look forward to a return visit next trip to Miami
Teníamos una reserva la cual nos confirmaron y cuando llegamos al lugar en fecha y hora nos dijeron que había una fiesta privada y no pudimos entrar
Yo creo que tendrían que haber avisado y cancelado no que encima confirman.
My friends weren’t happy about the waiting time it was a super busy night. I have been here before, so I kept trying to convince my friends to stay. I told the girls how much longer, they got the manager and he was super cooperative and apologized for the waiting. He gave us appetizers and kept apologizing. I want to say they did an amazing job in trying to get us a table ready.
We got there on time for our 8:30 reservation. Went to the bar while we waited for our table. Hour and a half later they come to seat us but by the time we got to our table it had already been sat by someone else . They searched everywhere and finally found us a table but it was uneven so they had to locate us another table. 3rd time was a charm. Service was decent and the food was good. The real charm of this restaurant is the surroundings. Overpriced but on par for the usual on south beach.
Great experience! Would recommend to anyone visiting Miami.
Amazing food in breathtaking environment.... top notch service! Can’t say enough about this fantastic restaurant and we will absolutely go back on our next trip to Miami.... highly recommend!
This mansion is so beautiful it reminds you of being in italy. Everything was amazing from the staff, to the food, to the ambiance. We had the lobster , steak, and shared a pasta dish it was perfect! A must go to!
The location in the former Versace mansion is the reason to go. We waited over an hour for a table for 4 with a reservation. Service and food were good but not great.
Restaurant was gorgeous! A must see! Well worth the tres expensive dinner but be prepared, service is horrible
While the setting was amazing in Versace’s old house the food was outright bland and not nearly worth the pricetag.
My gnocchi were burnt, and the waiter didn’t seem surprised - my co-diner got a tasteless fish. With the prices on the menu card, we would have expected a much much higher standard. On the plus side, the service was great and professional, and the view is beautiful, romantic and with a perfect atmosphere.
Great location, excellent menu and, despite the sad history, it's one of our favorite restaurants on this planet.
We were 1st time diners @ Gianni’s and can’t say enough about our experience. It was absolutely dreamy. Will return. Oh and we took our 5 children along ranging from 17-5 years old. Everyone loved it ALL.
