Our service was amazing! As soon as we placed our order the food was already coming out basically! The server was very knowledgeable about the mansion and even showed us around some.
To be honest I was very turned off upon arriving to the restaurant. We had a reservation at 845 and were not seated until 930. Also the lack of enforcing mask wearing was absurd. The food was good and we dine at many very nice restaurants but we felt for the price tag (which we are completely fine with paying) was much higher than the service we received.
Filet mignon taste like carne asada poor customer service it took them a hour after our reservation to give us a table
The price for the amount of food was slightly off , the quality of dishes offered wasn’t could use variety .We had a table for 4 our waiter seemed occupied . The ambiance was nice.
Gorgeous restaurant offering deliciously creative dishes to suit any appetite
Reservations at 9 and didn’t get seated until almost an hour later. When seated, wasn’t even given water, had to flag down a server after about 10 minutes to get water poured. Overall, horrible experience
The experience was nice. The food doesn’t match the experience though. I expected a better menu and what I did order wasn’t that great.
I’d like to start by saying I’ve literally never written a bad review for a dining experience. I have worked in restaurants for 12 years and the last 4 have been fine dining. i fully intended on spending 400+ dollars because i assumed the experience would be worth it especially for my 30th. We drove an hour and a half from Delray in the rain to be let down completely. Our reservation was at 7:15 and we didn’t get sat until 8:05. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes right in front of the bartender before being acknowledged. We ordered and paid for our drinks there with no issue. There was no social distancing being imposed and it was shoulder to shoulder room and extremely loud. In the beautiful entrance way there were probably 10-12 open tables for waiting-seating? I have no idea as the hostesses gave no guidance or assistance. We asked if we could sit at a table that clearly needed to be bussed and they said it was fine. Again, working in restaurants I was fine with this but a little confused. We eventually got sat after inquiring to the hostess and waited probably 5-10 minutes for the server to come up. Again no big deal, we figured out exactly what we wanted and ordered all at once. There was no menu tour, no specials and no suggestions. The server didn’t know what vintage the Opus one was off the top of his head, which at 115 PER GLASS you should probably know. To his credit he was kind and was polite. My husbands martini wasn’t made correctly twice. He also didn’t have a silverware set up and had to ask for one after the food has dropped. They did not retool between courses so it was an awkward transition. My lobster was a little over cooked but the spaghetti it came with was a perfect al dente. My husbands steak was cooked to perfection however it lacked flavor. And the truffle potato purée had great flavor but was cold. The check was processed and not to be a total Karen, but I didn’t get anything for my birthday and for 469 i would think they’d do something.
Ilich our server was so great. He treated us so well and answered all the questions we had. Illich made our trip to the mansion unlike any other. Thank you Illich!!
It was a great vibe and great value for lunch.
Don’t mother making a reservation- they don’t actually honor it anyways. You’ll still wait 45 minutes for a table.
Our server was extremely rude and we had to wait over and hour and a half to be seated for our reservations.
All perfect! but after having waited more than 40 min for a table when there was a reservation weeks in advance.
Long wait times but worth it. They sat us directly on the pool as requested.
Just horrible from beginning to end. Waiter was horrible. Food sub par. I’ve been here before and loved it.maybe they changed management. I wrote a letter and haven’t heard anything. Won’t go back. Let the tourists have it.
Heaven !!!!
Awesome setting. Great quality drinks. Food was very good but you can’t beat the ambiance.
I advise anyone who plans on going to reserve, show up on time and you’ll be seated ASAP. Food is delicious! Waiter was super helpful in explaining menu and best drinks! Will definitely go again. Pictures can’t describe how beautiful the architecture is!
We arrived for our 1 o’clock reservation 5 minutes early and were seated immediately which was nice but they had so many people packed in there I could’ve easily leaned over and licked the person’s salmon at the table next to us. We waited 20 minutes before anyone even came over and brought us water. Then another 10 went by before we were brought menus and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered our cocktails/food but the waiter seemed very uninterested. Appetizer came quickly but the server forgot the bread we saw everyone else served and he was was barely around. We ordered the filet minon for our entrees and the 24k gold margarita had me lit up like a Christmas tree by the time our food came because it took a while. It was not cooked the way I had asked (medium rare and it came to me still mooing) We then asked for bread (for the second time) and it was finally brought to us only minutes before the check was dropped at our table along with our dessert. Our particular server seemed so uninterested in service most likely due to the 20% gratuity already taken on the check, I was just bummed that a 200+ dollar meal was so mediocre. Definitely paid for the vibe and not the food or the service. For context, I have never written a single review for anything and I’m not trying to be so negative but I was really just bummed being so excited for this and then feeling extremely let down.
It was a lot of fun to go, our server was excellent and very knowledgeable on all the cocktails!
Great experience! It was beautiful! The food was great. Best experience in Miami.
My Niece birthday and we were from out of town.
I totally recommend this restaurant. You don’t mind the wait because the place is so beautiful and once you are at your table the place is just so beautiful!!’ It’s worth every dollar you pay.
I normally don’t write bad reviews but felt I needed to at this time for our visit at the mansion for dinner. My two friends and I had a dinner reservation at 10pm on a Friday evening. We were quickly checked in by the first host at the main entrance, front of the building. She was very pleasant and friendly and told us to go into the mansion to check in with the other host. Once coming in to the second check-in desk, there were a lot of people waiting around to be seated. We were checked-in again and added to a wait list in order to be seated at a table. It seems like they were overwhelmed by the amount of people that had showed up for dinner so therefore they were running behind on schedule. We were seated by 10:30pm. We ordered our first drinks (which we believed would have been the first of a few at least) and food. Unfortunately our food came first, before our drinks, so we were almost done eating when our drinks came out. When we were done eating the server came up and asked if we wanted some coffee. We told him no coffee but that we were ready to order some more drinks and that we also would like to see the dessert menu. He told us the kitchen closed at 11pm so we can’t order anything more except regular coffee. That was quite disappointing as no one had even given us a “last call” informing us of the kitchen closing just in case we wanted to order anything else. It was nothing we could do at this point so we went ahead and paid our bill. It turns out you cannot split up the charge with three credit cards, only two cards our server told us. Very odd as I have never heard that before at any restaurant I have ever been to in my life but maybe it’s their policy. Anyway, we paid and then stayed around for maybe 30 more minutes taking pictures by the pool etc. On our exit out we noticed a server bring out a full tray of drinks but to top it off, our server came out with a few plates of desserts as well as some drinks also.
Pamela was a wonderful waitress!
I would give this place a zero if i could. I made reservations for 8:45pm we didn’t get seated until 10pm. Then we didn’t speak to a waiter until 10:30. The food was okay. Wouldn’t go back or recommend anyone to go.
Lovely service and great ambience.. ... My birthday dessert was to die for.
One of the best places you can visit in Miami for the professionalism waiters and the structure of the palace. This is a place you have to visit and try there amazing food.
Anthony is amazing. Step up the management though. Food was good but pretty sure everything was pre-made, it came out 5 minutes after we ordered.
Our waiter went on break and left us sitting there for an hour with nothing. Terrible service and a tourist trap.
The overall atmosphere and food was great. The only thing I did not like is we didn’t get the chance to order dessert. Apparently orders for dessert discontinue at 12a. We were not made aware of this until 1208 when our waitress returned to give us the check. Other than that we really enjoyed our time.
Wondering and accommodating staff love It and the place is just beautiful.. just need valet parking
I was left underwhelmed. I had a friend send me a bottle of wine that she purchased from the restaurant ( for my birthday) that was never received, our server wasn’t attentive and the food was decent at best. I was expecting a great experience and didn’t receive that.
Whom ever took over the New Versace Mansión management is a disgrace!!
The elegance, the class, the customer service, the cocktails and food do not meet up to the name “Versace” and its expectations. So sad to see the place is not the original like before.
April 8 , Anniversary Dinner was not memorable. Manager that night Alberto D. was rude and non attentive to my concerns. Do not fall into this tourist trap.
There was NO social distancing!! I will not return or recommend anyone to spend their monies. Lyft or Uber is a must. No valet available on Ocean Drive.
Visiting from Houston Texas.
Beautiful restaurant with great food. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating as well. He made great drink suggestions to us. I had a passion and the mansion and it was lovely! For food, we ordered the lobster spaghetti and it was amazing! The portion size was pretty large so we didn’t finish it but the taste was great. The presentation and experience was lovely.
Horrible service. Food was bad. Waitress never showed up. Is a wasted of money.
The ambiance is breathtaking. Chicken was a little overdone. Other 3 dinners were fine.
Unfortunately the clientele on south beach are low. Area has changed tremendously from years ago.
If you want to see women walking around 1/2 naked ocean Blvd is place to see.
Sorry to say after 3 lunches at the Villa. This will be my last.
Honor made our meal so relaxing and romantic. Food was delicious and of course mansion is fabulous.
We enjoyed a beautiful day in the courtyard with a delicious lunch. Service was fantastic. The Mansion is a must see.
