I had a great first time experience at Giannis. The service was amazing. Everyone checked on my party of three to make sure our experience was unforgettable. It was great that they spoke Spanish as my aunt and my mom were able to communicate even better. The place is also beautiful. What a wonderful time to go for lunch. I definitely recommend!
Delicious food in a beautiful courtyard.
Great value for money especially for a fine dining experience. Staff is excellent. Environment is peaceful at lunchtime but bustling. Food quality is definitely good but not a Michelin experience so manage your expectations. You’re paying to be there not to eat the most outstanding meal. Despite this, I enjoyed the lobster spaghetti.
The service was wonderful. Our waiter was very friendly and even helped with pictures. The food was great and the presentation of the food was beautiful. The cocktails were delicious as well. It just seemed a bit pricey for what we got, but that was expected given the location and history of the house. The house itself was gorgeous! The music was great as well as the ambiance. I would definitely come back!
Server pretty much forgot we were there and focused on the table next to us even though they got there well after us
The ONLY reason this review is not a complete roast, is because of Javier the server. The food was absolutely HORRIBLE. Like literally a joke that it’s so bad. They need a new chef stat. It seems they value food cost and money over the actual taste of their food. We sent at least 4 plates back. It was really bad. Overcooked, no flavor, cold and more. I can’t with this place. Javier is amazing and did everything he could to salvage the experience. #promoteJavier. Also most of the drinks were good so there’s that. Don’t go here.
It was a terrible experience. when I made a reservation on TV, they told me that the champagne was included in the menu lunch 29 and they charged him $54 and the waiter gave me a very bad attitude, very bad service
This place was amazing 🤩. The food the service the scenery, everything was wonderful! Definitely recommend during lunch time, I’ll be coming back for dinner.
Service was impeccable! Food and ambiance was amazing!
Everything was exceptional.
This was a "bucket list" item for me! OUTSTANDING Service, food, setting....I can't think of anything I didn't like. We had Alexander as our Server. He was attentive without being annoying.
What a great restaurant in one of the most beautiful mansions. I HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation and dining at Gianni's. Well worth the money
Class and Style! Nice lunch, friendly staff and the Most Amazing Setting!
Must!!
I made reservations at Gianni’s to take my mother for a birthday lunch.
Upon arrival (exactly on time) we were told our table wasn’t ready and to wait. The mansion is stunning, but what was significantly more stunning was the parade of half dressed people parading past us. It was all on display - whether women wearing see through tops, slits up to their navel, pleather skirts so tight that you could see everything. For a restaurant with a dress code, this one is surprisingly lax. “Come as you are; nudity welcome.”
We were seated at a table next to security. When we asked about vacant tables near the pool, we were told that they were for hotel guests only. We have been there multiple times and this was never the case before... We sat and ordered, hanging out with security who stood only one foot away sans masks (gotta love the social distancing!). We had to move our table a few inches further away as much as we could manage and we still weren’t six feet from other customers. The customers around us were rowdy, loud, and in roaming around in our space, everything you might want with Covid.
But we ordered and eagerly anticipated our meal. The waiter was lovely, and the first course went down without a hitch. But when it came time for our entree, my salmon was not just overcooked - it was parched, like it had recently inhabited a desert and only just escaped. At my mum’s insistence, we sent it back (nicely!) asking for something not quite as torched, perhaps closer to medium rare. Ten minutes later my new entree arrived. This fish was completely rare. Hot on the outside but completely raw within. Not ideal. So I ate the veggies and left the salmon, and filled up on bread.
When it came time for dessert, we were ready... but unfortunately, the dessert served wasn't what we had ordered.
Completely dissatisfactory experience. Absolutely appalling. I don't plan on returning.
Came for the crab legs. Sold out...
It was great! Beautiful place! Delicious food!
This was everything I thought it would be and more! Everything was so beautiful and the food was amazing, my partner and I sat by the pool. A gorgeous brunch. Three course meal (without drinks) comes to $29 per person for brunch
Excellent, good food, is amazing, is beautiful, luxury
As a party of 14 to accommodate, we were helped very quickly and effectively. Our server Erick did an amazing job, he was very attentive and helpful. This place is truly gorgeous, our hostess even let us pick where we wanted to sit, as a party of 14 that was so nice of them. Will definitely be coming back!
Extraordinary experience with nice view. Great customer service and delicious food. The 24k drink was good and little bit strong. Pool looks beautiful.
Nice splurge when in Miami. Went during lunch and they have a lunch menu that includes an appetizer, entree, and a dessert. It is surprisingly a great value. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was amazing!
The octopus carpaccio is delicious!!! Enjoyed the grilled branzino also!!!
very nice experience!

Great service and food to match
Very cool place
Highly recommend
Food was just ok. Service is what the problem was.
The best experience I had in my live
ANTHONY was AMAZING! He was attentive to my food allergy. He recommended great pairing options! He made my time there feel special. Although I’m not a millionaire, he made me feel worth more than a trillion dollars. Give that man a raise please!
Passion on the mansion drink was sour
Cesar salad came like big branches 2 slices of cheese
PorterHouse for 2 the steak was ok veggies nasty roasted potatoes was ok
Lobster spaghetti was disgusting
Salmon was mediocre
Not worth the price which was 641 dollars u really just paying for the name it’s all hype
A wonderful dining experience. A must see dining venue.
Ambiance is wonderful
One of my dreams come true everything was excellent, amazing ! Every details in the mansion is beautiful
Good experience for my wife and me. See you soon.
Tables by the pool are fantastic, but other seating is very lame. You cannot reserve tables by the pool and the staff makes no promises about being able to sit there even if it is a special occasion like ours (25th anniversary). They did say we could sit there at 10:15 if we waited that long after our 8:45 reservation. We opted to eat at our reserved time in a very awkward round room. Food was average and certainly not worth the prices. South Beach offers many other restaurants that offer better food and a reliable experience, so you may want to avoid this tourist trap.
Outstanding experience!
The food is not good at all. We order filet mignon, pasta and the tuna and none of them surprise me.
The drinks are amazing and the venue very beautiful.
Dirty place (don’t even think to step to the bathroom). Slow service and disrespectful waiters. Food tastes average but overpriced for what it is. Versace’s former house is beautiful, but you can see only the first floor where restaurant is. It is a smaller place that I imagined and locates in a bad area with suspicious activities at the back of it. Also, the area is very crowded and no one cares about social distance. If this restaurant would be at any other place, nobody would even go there. Do not book it for a special occasion, it will be ruined.
My Fiance and I had a wonderful time! We were sat at right by the pool and it was truly amazing. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. He even gave us a little history on the original artwork and the pool. The food and cocktails were very good and worth the price. Overall would highly recommend.
Fantastic dinner. Great food and service. But the best (for those who know the history of the house) is to be able to get inside all rooms/spaces and take great pictures. Amazing
Very cool atmosphere and food was great. Kind of a gimmick type of restaurant for sure, definitely sit by the pool the other rooms are old and tired and I would have been disappointed had I sat in there. Half the reason to go is for the ambiance.
- Food 10/10
- Prices 9/10 -> very good prices for been Versace’s Mansion
- Service 8/10 -> excellent treatment but they do not wear the the face mask properly
- Very clean
birthday for my wife, everything was ok
