I had made a reservation for 3:30PM. Upon our punctual arrival, we were promptly seated by the host. Shortly after, the host appeared with a look of surprise on his face, neglecting to greet us. His initial inquiry was, "Did you have a reservation?" I responded affirmatively, explaining that I did not simply walk into the restaurant and seat myself. The server then explained that he had asked because the kitchen closes at 3:30pm and the restaurant shuts down at 4:00pm until dinner. He insisted that if we wished to stay, we would need to place our food order immediately. This interaction was perceived as impolite and lacking in professionalism. Despite traveling all the way from California in search of a delightful dining experience, we left the restaurant feeling thoroughly disappointed.

The service was phenomenal. The staff works so hard and they are very pleasant. The ambience is exactly what we had expected. I really thought Versace would walk in and say hello to everyone. The food was fine. We had the lunch special that was $40 per person. Nothing amazing and the portions were quite small so we were a bit hungry afterwards. Again, we didn’t really go there for the food only, so the experience was fine. My biggest issue was that there was a 33% service charge. I’m guessing that’s why the lunch menu sounded so cheap, but it wasn’t. I think that was a bit too crafty on the restaurants behalf and we felt very uncomfortable. I’m a good tipper and I often give 20% maybe 25%, but that was thievery.

Tuvimos un almuerzo increíble , fui por mi cumpleaños y viví una experiencia única , desde la comida hasta los tragos todo de primera calidad y sobresaliente la atención que tuvimos de la moza Laura estuvo muy atenta y al comentarle que era mi cumpleaños me trajo el postre con una velita . Volveré sin dudas el año que viene para vivir nuevamente esta hermosa experiencia.

Getting to say you’ve eaten at the Versace mansion is mind blowing. The staff were friendly. The vibes were amazing! The food was great! Highly recommend the truffle gnocchi or the rotisserie chicken! And for dessert definitely get the melting chocolate balloon. Overall had an amazing experience!

This was the second time visiting Gianni’s, the first time was amazing. When we booked this reservation we said that it was a special occasion that we were celebrating. We showed up 2 hours before our reservation and told the hostess that we would really like to be as close to the pool as possible and were willing to wait to make it happen. We came back 20 mins before our reservation to check in and restated that were were willing to wait to be by the pool. We were sat almost immediately (15 mins before reservation time) at literally the farthest table from the pool that you have on the second level in the corner. When we commented on that the girl that sat us said there was nothing she could do, even though I could see 2 open tables right next to the pool. I went back in to the hostess and commented on this and she said ‘we can try to get you closer but you will have to wait’. I told her that was fine and reminded her that I had already said we were willing to wait multiple times. 15 mins later we were sat in the second row from the pool. After that we had a nice dinner and drinks, but no mention was ever made of our celebration or special occasion. The hostess and especially the girl seating people need to have better customer service. There are many fine dining establishments in Miami, and we are questioning if we will return in the future.

It was so beautiful! We had a lovely dinner and the service was amazing ! Our server was a young man bilingual forgot his name but he gave us excellent recommendations and we loved everything about our experience!

Absolutely mortified and heart broken by our experience. I planned this for weeks as it was my teenaged son's birthday. I thought it would be a nice experience to invite him and his beautiful/classy girlfriend to lunch. They sat us in the balcony area although I requested the pool area on the reservation. Had my request been fulfilled, we may not have so vividly noticed what happened next. Unfortunately, my son sat facing the pool. He had direct line of sight to a much older man with 4 younger boys making out, twerking, taking obscene photos, and one of the boys straddling the older man while making out with him all in their underwear (not bathing suits). I'm assuming they were guest as only guest are allowed in the pool. Many guest weee taking pictures, I wouldn't be surprised to see them all over social media. While on the balcony I saw the managers and staff in a frenzy and talking about the situation. They were all huddled up making comments and perhaps contemplating what to do, but nothing was done at this point. The show went on, I'm assuming because they were paying overnight guest or because it is somewhat of a sensitive issue. But it was a sensitive issue for me as well. Eventually he was asked to leave, but not after everything we witnessed and heard. I called to share my concerns with Marcos the manager, he was dismissive and said we were seated far away from them and couldn’t rationalized how I felt affected by this. his apology came only after I expressed how he needs to handle a situation, and then said to go back and give them a second shot?! Offered nothing, and hardly an apology. Stated he did what he needed to do and k Ike’s them out…. Eventually.

We had a great time, foods were delicious, staff were attentive! But I wish there were more fan/ventilation for the outdoor dining space. Too bad we came in the midst of the heat wave. Making plans to return soon!
