It was so extremely hot inside that it really ruined the experience 🥲 and they didn’t seem to care at all!
An enchanting place. The best ambiance you can dream of. Highly recommended!
Very beautiful restaurant and food was amazing! It was a perfect birthday treat!
It was wonderful, food was delicious and staff went above and beyond to make it special
Fabulous! Ivanna & Rubensito were great host. The food was fantastic & the ambiance magnificent. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Service was a little slow once seated. Table wasn’t set. But eventually our server came and she was great
Service was terrible and food was not very tasty. I would not return.
I was highly anticipating coming to Gianni's.
We ordered from the $29 Lunch Menu, which doesn't make sense to order because it doesn't come with a side, but overall the food was fine and I'd like to put an honorable mention for the Roasted Potatoes.
The service was both rushed and slow at the same time. Since there were plenty of people being serviced, there was plenty on staff on hand. However it look rather long for our table of two to get serviced while a table of six who came in after got their food long before we did ours.
The ambiance however was really crowded by the pool area which isn't completely shocking knowing how popular the area is but there should've been a way to include social distancing and covid procedures.
Our server Pamela and busser did do a great job making us feel welcomed and heard, would definitely come back to be at their table again. I do plan on trying Gianni's again for dinner to see if my overall perception will change.
Very slow service and just ok food. Despite the reservations, we had to wait over 30 minutes to get the table.
Main dinning area is very crowded, loud, tables very close and not enough air flow.
Will not come back. Too noisy, too expensive, it took too long to bring our food, the hostess was not kind...
Overrated and overpriced...
Very rushed experience. Salad and entree brought to table before appetizer was finished. All about table turnover.
Gianni’s is one of my favorite restaurants and I talked it up to all my friends about how great it was but last night the food was just subpar (I got the lamb chops) and it was cold . Our reservation was at 8 pm and we were seated at 830 and the waiter never came back to take our order until 910 which was very odd . He was not present at all and did the bare minimum . I think that since there is an automatic service charge he knew he was already going to get a tip and figured he didn’t need to provide quality service . I work in the hospitality industry and was very unimpressed by this . Overall the vibe is awesome inside the restaurant but this time the food was not great and the service was bad so next time I bring friends down we may have to find another place to eat .
We were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday. We thought we were going to be late so I wasn’t happy but we made it on time but didn’t get to wear my beautiful outfit for the evening.
The food was great. My husband ordered the spaghetti lobster and he loved it.
I enjoyed my dinner with 2 24k gold margaritas that were very generous in alcohol.
It was our first time in Miami and at the mansion and the experience with the highlight of our trip
Beautiful evening stunning ambiance food was delicious staff was on point Angela our server was great! Definitely will be back !
The food is overpriced and the experience is unbearable. Highly recommend there is someone trying to have a bad time Miami and waste a ton of money
Not a family spot
I would definitely recommend coming here for the experience! It’s good food and a pretty view!
Food wasn’t great pasta tasted like chef boy-r-dee
Well this is my first review and I have to say that after 40 minutes wait (unacceptable) we got a small table bellow a speaker. The first course, a Kobe carpaccio was bellow average and the main course Caccio e Pepe came warm. The service was bellow average. Amazing that the service in the amount of 20% was included and additional tip was expected!. The ambiance was not particularly upscale as everyone was making pictures rather than enjoying the meal. With so many good restaurants in Miami I don’t recommend this one at all. We were really disappointed.
Had reservations but still had to wait an hour and ten minutes to finally get seated at 10:40 at night. Once we were seated it was fantastic. Food was great and service was excellent. Just need to be better about getting people in a lot closer than that to their reserved time.
Beautiful place excellent service “ they do not go by actual reservation . Food is small portions and not so great but the experience was nice for date night / experience
Came here for my wife birthday and was the best experience she ever had! Although the reservations was an hour and 15 , outside of that great atmosphere and good food!!
We waited an hour past our reservation for dinner
Had an 8:30pm reservation, we were a little late (15-20 mins) we tried calling, no answer. We get there and we’re told there was a 40 min wait.. ushered into a crowded bar and waited over an hour for our table. Granted we did end up with one of the nicest tables, still we had to beg to be seated. I’ll be back with a large group in a few months but I’m definitely getting there early and letting the group know how it might end up.
What a fabulous night...the best people watching ever. Our waiter Juan was terrific. Enjoyed every minute
Overall I really enjoyed Versace. We got the kobe beef carpaccio for an appetizer, then the lamb chops and dover sole as entrees. All of the food was DELICIOUS. The 24 karat gold margarita was to die for. The passion in the mansion cocktail was pure sugar and I honestly wasn’t able to drink it. The service and ambiance were great as well. Our bill came to $400 with gratuity for a party of 2. I do think the restaurant is extremely overpriced but I did expect that going to a restaurant like Versace.
20% service charge and you guys have a nerve to ask for more Tips? Unreal!!
Went here for the 3 course meal for $29 and was extremely disappointed. Beautiful venue don’t get me wrong, but nothing more. The gentleman who was our server was not welcoming at all or attentive. He simply did not care. Never checked in to see if we liked anything. Wasn’t until a completely different server came to see if we liked everything she was perfectly pleasant and I probably would liked my experience more if I had her. Getting to the food, we ordered the shrimp and burrata as the appetizer and it was ehhh mediocre at best. Fried shrimp is hard to mess up and these ones were decent. The burrata was nothing special tasted like water. The entrees were a huge letdown. We ordered the salmon and spinach sage ravioli. Salmon tasted bland like they had just got it from the ocean right on the grill without as little as salt and pepper. The ravioli was overpowered by the sage and weirdly greasy. The inside was gritty and tasted like something you could find at a grocery store frozen food section. The desert was sorbet of the day mango ridiculously small portions huge bowl and spoon tiny scoop of ice cream. Overall, it’s all hype, not tasty food and the service we got was truly terrible.
i asked for a certain location to sit when i placed my reservation that was more private and near the water but it was ignored thanks for ruining my plans to propose
The food, service and atmosphere is just as you would expect it to be...AMAZING. It was an honor to dine at Gianni's, former Versace Mansion. We started off with refreshing vibrations, delightful appetizer, a delectable dinner, and a enchanting dessert with expresso coffee martini to finalize the experience. Definitely did not disappoint and if I lived in the area, that would be my sweet spot.
We have not visited to have a drink but we ended up getting appetizers as well and they were delicious! Great scenery, good photo stop, and very calm experience overall.
This was my second visit with different guests and again it was an exceptional experience. It is definitely priceless to be able to wine and dine in the very exclusive and intricately designed former private mansion of a very iconic designer whose personal vision is expressed in various materials. The food is as fulfilling in presentation and taste as the atmosphere and the staff and service premium.
Amazing service! Music, vibes, and ambiance was spectacular! Will definitely return!
Beautiful place for lunch! We arrived early and were seated quickly. Service was exceptional and food was delicious. Highly recommend
The food was amazing, and so was the service. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it. However, it was my boyfriend's birthday, and they didn't do anything to make it special for him.
Our service was amazing! As soon as we placed our order the food was already coming out basically! The server was very knowledgeable about the mansion and even showed us around some.
To be honest I was very turned off upon arriving to the restaurant. We had a reservation at 845 and were not seated until 930. Also the lack of enforcing mask wearing was absurd. The food was good and we dine at many very nice restaurants but we felt for the price tag (which we are completely fine with paying) was much higher than the service we received.
Filet mignon taste like carne asada poor customer service it took them a hour after our reservation to give us a table
The food was delicious, the dessert I had, I believe it is called “Gianni’s Feore” was to die for! I wish I could’ve had a couple servings to go. The place itself is beautiful, but due to it being overwhelmingly busy we weren’t able to really take it all in.
Our waitress was horrible! She was very rude and seemed to be agitated! Terrible service!
