The appetizers were amazing. The Branzino had zero seasoning no salt or anything. Cooked to perfection. The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The coconut sorbet was outstanding also.

Ambiance: The ambiance in this place from the moment you walk in is incredible! I absolutely love the architecture—it has a timeless charm that should be preserved for years to come. The setting is elegant, atmospheric, and visually stunning. Service: Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the space. From the initial phone call to the moment we were greeted, the staff came off as rushed and impersonal. Language was casual and unprofessional, which detracted from the overall experience. At the bar, the bartender was snobby, and the barback seemed inexperienced—surprising for a restaurant where we spent over $350 for two. Staff lacked polish and elegance, and several had limited English proficiency. In a premium-priced venue, higher service standards should be expected. Drinks: Old Fashioned – Served with Maker’s Mark, broken ice, no ice block. Overpriced and underwhelming. 2/5 Espresso Martini – Well balanced, visually appealing. Solid execution. 4/5 Food: Kobe Beef Carpaccio – Decent ingredients, but bland and unimpressive presentation. 3/5 Octopus Carpaccio – Unique and well-prepared. 4/5 Eggplant Parmigiana – Disappointing texture and taste. 2/5 Truffle Gnocchi – Nice texture, but forgettable. 3.5/5 Cacio e Pepe – Standard cheese block presentation, could be elevated with shaved truffle. 4/5 Tiramisu – Absolutely fantastic. Light, rich, and the best part of the meal. 5/5 Overall: This restaurant delivers an exceptional atmosphere but falls short where it matters most: service and consistency. At this price point, refined service and elevated execution are expected across the board. While a few dishes stood out, most fell flat. A beautiful venue with great potential—but the experience needs polish.

To be honest we were disappointed. The place is beautiful but crowded and loud. We were sent an email 3 days prior and told there is a strict dress code which we adhered to but it was not strict and there were several patrons in jeans and a T-shirt. There was also a young child running around annoying guests. No one said anything even after he fell down the stairs. The food was meh. My pasta was undercooked and the sauce tasted like it was generic from a can or jar. It does not compare to Boston or New York Italian food. Especially does not compare to anything I’ve had in Italy. My husbands chicken was basic. The potatoes aren’t seasoned and the food comes out so fast it’s clear that it is all premade. Even the cacio e Pepe didn’t look fresh. The desserts were also meh. They use way too much espresso in the tiramisu, the lady fingers were so saturated they disintegrated. It was very wet not like a tiramisu should be. I can’t see anyone from Italy feeling good about this place. The price for the quality is not worth it but I think you’re mostly paying for the experience of being in the mansion. My guess is that Mr Versace would be disappointed on what they are using his name for.

Originally we thought we had the best seats by the pool unfortunately, they were the worst. People kept coming up to take photos. It was so distracting we could not have a conversation without being interrupted by the countless array of people. Food was average, nothing to write about. Menu is limited, wine list is subpar. Left very disappointed. Sadly, this is a tourist trap.

The venue was beautiful. They sat us next to the pool, which was initially exciting. After an hour of 50 people in line to take photos of the pool, on top of our table, was not only distracting but disruptive to our meal. The experience was not pleasant. Food was okay but carrots were not cooked so were too hard, and the fork couldn’t be used. I had to eat them with my hands. I wouldn’t return.
