Giada - The Cromwell
This charming Las Vegas restaurant welcomes diners with warm colors, comfortable furniture and natural lighting thanks to the restaurant’s huge retractable windows. Guests can eat in the dining room, lounge or at window tables, boasting breathtaking views of the Bellagio fountains and Caesars Palace.
The menu consists of Italian cuisine with refreshing, Californian influences. Menu items include lemon spaghetti, chicken cacciatore, marsala herb chicken meatballs, rosemary focaccia and lemon flatbread and vegetable Bolognese rigatoni. GIADA adds a lighter touch to Italian dishes, all while staying true to classic Italian recipes.
There are family-style options, along with a vegan and gluten-free menu options. Desserts, like the lemon ricotta cookies and sorbets, serve as the perfect ending.
Table for six with Tuscan ribeye, lobster ravioli, fettuccine, bone-in filet and sea scallops entrees and various appetizers. Every bite was delicious!
Amazing approachable Italian food
My brother and I visited. I had the grilled cheese, my brother had the hamburger from the brunch menu. Both were outstanding. Finished the meal with the “Death by Chocolate” brownie. For $5.00, this is one of the best deals on the Vegas strip. Very comfortable restaurant and even though it was crowded, there was no issue having a conversation. Recommend highly!
My second trip, it was just as amazing as the first.
This is my second visit this year to the restaurant and the food did not disappoint. Server was wonderful and our view of the South LV Blvd was a great backdrop too. There were off on reservation time by 15-min. But in the end made up with prompt and frequent service. I’ll be back!
The food was amazing, the staff gave excellent suggestions regarding what pairs with our selections. I will definitely return on our next trip to Las Vegas.
We were underwhelmed with our food and service at Giada. We all had the Tasting Menu. It was way more food than 3 women could consume but the quality was just OK. My steak was undercooked for Medium Rare. The waitress was not what I would call friendly. She did her best at making us NOT feel special and was not attentive. I almost felt as if she was bothered by being there. With all of the wonderful restaurants available to people in Vegas, Giada needs to up their game. I wouldn't return or recommend.
I recently went to Las Vegas for business and last time I was there, I had dinner at Giada’s before departing home. I enjoyed it last time, so I figured…why not do it again! I am a foodie at heart, NY/NJ Italian, and also cook as a hobby (I do cook A LOT of Giada’s dishes).
I, unfortunately, had had a late lunch the day I visited, so I kept it very simple. I wanted something light and at my waiter’s recommendation, went with the Branzino, Crab, Green mussels in a saffron scented Cioppino broth with a nice glass of Chianti. Words cannot describe this dish!! IT WAS AMAZING! The fresh tomatoes, lumps of crab, and perfectly cooked fish in that broth. Simply Mind-blowing! I was going to order the more popular Salmon, but glad I took the waiter’s recommendation. I typically don’t eat all the bread, but did this time around because I didn’t leave a drop in my bowl. DELICIOUS!
For dessert, I again went light (and with my waiter’s recommendation) ordered the Summer Berry and Almond Panna Cotta. Presentation was very nice but tasted even better. I initially thought it was a little “berry” overbearing, but as I dug deeper and spooned into the Panna Cotta….WOW! Dessert just popped. So smooth and creamy.
Overall, I think this was hands down, the best meal I had in Vegas in my 3.5 days there (and I had dinner the night before at Picasso’s). Giada’s warm and cozy restaurant is inviting, and I almost wish I had visited another night so I could have just sat there and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant more while sipping some vino. The icing on the cake would have been if I could have met the beautiful chef in person. I might have to make a special weekend trip back just to hit Giada’s again. Highly recommend putting on your list of restaurants to visit. Priced right and a quality meal/experience!
Waited half hour and they apparently forgot I was at the bar where they told me to wait. Food was below average. Pasta was so spicy hot it burned my mouth. The Branzino was horrible and not cooked in a customary manner. The soufflé came out undercooked. The restaurant was very cold. Save your money and get a pizza.
Took a while to get our table even though we had a reservation. Our server was excellent, the food however was mediocre at best and way overpriced. The wine list is extensive and pricey.
What stood out was our waitress. Not the food. The hostesses should all be fired as they are cold and pretty much a cliche that needs broken up.
We have eaten there twice before and it was awesome. Not this time or ever again! Overpriced cold spaghetti I can get anywhere for pennies on the dollar.
Waiter unenthusiastic when taking our order. Never introduced himself or welcomed us. After dinner we stated we did not want dessert. He brought dessert which stated Happy Anniversary. We said. How did they know it was our anniversary. He did not say anything. We thanked him and gave a great trip only to find out the following day that our daughter and son in law from NJ order a dessert for us for our anniversary. They knew where we were having dinner so they wanted to treat us. Well the waiter failed to tell us the dessert was compliments of our daughter! Our daughter called us the next day to ask how our dinner was and I stated it was great and that they gave us dessert for our anniversary and she said she paid for the dessert. It was unacceptable that our waiter did not tell us so.
I expected way more....meatballs were good thats it. The server was rude and rushed our table ...the plastic on top of the table was peeling off and scratched me. The pasta was too Al dente and my shrimp was over cooked. For the price and the hype I was VERY disappointed with the entire place. If you are going to charge that much money please have better everything!
Beautiful venue! Staff very friendly and nicely attired. Food was delicious, but portions not very large. I had the shrimp with pasta and it came with 2 large shrimp. Pasta was dry so asked for extra sauce. Nice wine selection and attractive bar area. We actually went back there just for a drink before a show we were attending. I would recommend to others...
An absolutely wonderful experience. Such a beautifully designed restaurant, very elegant with a gorgeous view of the strip. The service was impeccable and the food.... amazing. I recommend the Cacio e Pepe for two served table side in a cheese wheel. Delicious! Reasonably priced food and cocktails/wine. Will definitely return again.
The food was FABULOUS!! We were very disappointed with the service. We felt not worthy. And the waiter, Doug, was very inattentive. We had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled and ask for more bread. We did get a great table by the window with a view, but nothing else special for our 30th wedding anniversary.
Great food, great service, great views! We loved it.
A top notch restaurant ! Our Risotto was wonderful and the perfect amount. We shared the Margherita pizza and appetizer bread as well as a Napa Valley red wine that was excellent. Thank you for an outstanding meal we wont forget. ! We will be sure to return.
This was my first visit to Giada’s and it was wonderful! I had the ravioli, my daughter had risotto & both were amazing! I also had the hazelnut desert, and my daughter had tiramisu baked Alaska. Both were delicious, and the chocolate “pop rocks” were a surprising and playful addition to the tiramisu. Wonderful ambience and staff was friendly and helpful, answering our questions so we could exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend :)
Awesome Mother’s Day dinner
We really enjoyed our dinner at Giada. The coctails were great and the food was outstanding. The portion sizes were perfect. I highly recommend a visit to this great restaurant.
We ate here on Mother’s Day - a day famous for mediocre food and bad service. I was pleasantly surprised by the impeccable service and top notch food! It was a perfect dining experience!
Our 5:30 reservation was honored on time, with a window seat for 2 looking out on Flamingo & LV Blvd. I got a pasta dish, and the wife got the multi course meal that included salmon, 2 other sides, salad & a variety of deserts she chose from the tray. Everything was great, only complaint was antipasta had too many peppers, and the salt/pepper/grated cheese not on the table, had to request them after food delivered. A little pricey, but delicious dinners for sure!
I was at Giadas back when it first opened at The Cromwell. It was very cozy and comfortable. Also elegant. This is still true. I flew into Vegas from San Diego with my girlfriend, to see her sister and best friend for Mother’s Day weekend and suggested Giadas as the best place for Mother’s Day dinner. However some things have changed. It’s A LOT more expensive than it was just a few years ago. I had explained to everyone how reasonable the pricing was before but this time it was really expensive. Everyone enjoyed their dishes except my girlfriend. The pasta with the marinara sauce and a whole through the middle of the noodle wasn’t good at all. She didn’t say anything earlier because she’s not the type to complain. The waiter did take it back but only asked if she’d liked her meal well after everyone else was almost finished with their meals so she had to take hers to go. Also, they forgot to bring bread at the beginning of dinner so our bread came after our entrees. I believe the waiter was so distracted with flirting with my girlfriend’s friend Stephanie that he forgot vital basic etiquette for waiting the table. Instead of flirting, he could have been making sure our bread was delivered and maybe comped my gfs dinner. We also had to tell him 3 times that we were ready to pay the bill. Once we received our bills, we then had to tell him another 3 times to come pick it up. Overall the experience was Ok but not at all how I had described it to everyone like my first experience. For the price I was expecting not just OK, but excellent and superb. The time before, Giada was actually there and signed a cookbook for me. I’m sure she can’t always be there but it seems when she is there, based on the contrast of food and service from my two experiences, nothing is out of place and her warmth and attention to detail permeates through the dining experience. Overall good but not great.
The food was great and our service was excellent!
Service was slow but personable, had to ask for water refill and butter. Bacon was left off the dish and the child’s pancakes were burned. The servers were friendly and polite the room was lovely and beautifully decorated with beautiful china and glassware.
Our first time at Giada and we weren't disappointed! Everything is so fresh and just like you would expect from her restaurant, after watching her on TV. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful and indulged us as we savored being there. We were there for Mother's Day brunch. There was a nice selection of types of food for breakfast, entree or sandwiches. Had a delicious peach Bellini! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Vegas!!
Service was incredible, drink prices for wine were over price, but they are at all restaurants. The food was ok, I was expecting something a bit more. I may have set my expectations a little high. Still the ambiance was incredible. I’ll be back and will definitely recommend to family and friends.
On another note, my first attempt to dine with you a year ago was met with a refusal from the hostess, as I had a tank top on and was told I had to have a collar shirt. I notice more than a few people in extremely casual shirts, shorts and collarless shirts, which did upset me. If it hadn’t of been for the service and ambiance from this experience, that would have certainly caused my decision to not return. Again, overall, a pleasant experience.
Mother’s Day for my wife and the mother of my children. It was fabulous. Lots of nice touches. Even a hand written note to all Mothers from Giada who celebrated Mother’s Day at the restaurant. First class all the way around.
This is the fourth time we have come to Giada and it was the first time we did not receive excellent service. I do not know if it was just busier than normal or understaffed , but I will be hesitant in the future to come for mothers day.
Fantastic dining experience
Excellent food, impeccable service, and a lovely ambiance. Great view from the window table. We always plan a meal here when in Vegas, sometimes two! Not to be missed.
It’s on of my favorite places to dine when I come to visit Vegas.
Loved the style of the restaurant. Food was very good. Service was great! Views were great too. Highly recommend.
I love Giada’s restaurant. I was a little sad that the menu had changed and my favorite pasta dish had been removed.
We had the best table, view of the Bellagio fountains.
Great meal! The flavor complexity was really delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. One of our best meals out ever.
Not an exceptional dining experience. The food and service was not worthy of the fine dining price tag. There was nothing wrong in particular but there also was nothing outstanding. Overrated.
