The menu doesn’t change much which can make it nice to find old favorites, however, the specials are always very good. The wine list is extensive and service is always amazing. We had the veal chop special, mushroom bisque and wasabi Ceasar salad. The veal was cooked perfectly-we asked for medium rare and the waiter told us chef will cook it how he recommends and he was sure we would love it. He was right. The only negative was the ventilation in the restaurant. Perhaps because it was a cold, windy night, but our eyes were stinging by the end of the meal from the smell/smoke from the grill and kitchen sending us home with our clothes smelling like food. Overall it was a great experience, we will request a table up front next time.
Excellent service. We went for our anniversary and were treated to a glass of Gruet upon sitting. Our waiter was great, knowledgeable about all the dishes and drinks, and very attentive without interrupting. Each course was crafted beautifully and tasted amazing, and the courses were served in great timing, providing time between to relax and enjoy the night. Portion sizes were perfect. Wine list was extensive. Well worth the pricing. We will be back when we're in town again.
Service was spectacular across the board, including valet.
Warm, skinny French Fries with $48 tenderloin is mismatched. A better option would be garlic mashed potatoes or something similar. Fries are a show-stopper for that dish. The sea bass was perfect! Scallops best ever ordered says my 80 year-old friend.
The vegetarian options are good and they taste amazing. Good service. Had a fun time!
Saw a review of Geronimo and having a trip to Santa Fe already planned made a reservation. Good choice! We started with a split pear salad. It was perfectly dressed with an apple cider vinegar. Next she had the NY Strip and I had the Sea Bass. Both were very well prepared and delicious. We ended with the three scoop ice cream offering, a caramel, vanilla bean and Meyer lemon selection. Very true rich flavors. Service was friendly but extremely professional. While it’s a bit of a splurge, Geronimo provides great value in return.
Exquisite service and lovely perfectly spiced food. We enjoyed ourselves.
Our top pick for a special perfect night out in Santa Fe!
Geronimo was my top choice for the best food in the Albuquerque - Santa Fe area. Nestled in a Santa Fe art community, they did not disappoint! Their food was well-thought-out, creative, and prepared to perfection. Stars of the meal were the Organic Yellow Corn Polenta Soup, Cast-Iron Seared Diver Scallops, and the Green Miso Sea Bass; however, all the food was excellent.
Service was spectacular, and the setting was private, quiet, perfect for a night of great food and company. Make your reservations early!!
Lovely meal and great service. Food was exceptional.
From the time we arrived it was all wonderful. Romantic & beautiful .......& the Sea Bass & the Elk Tenderloin were excellent! The German Chocolate dessert was like no other & also excellent. The service was excellent as well. 10 stars from us!
We have had dinner numerous times at Geronimo's over the years and it never disappoints. The cuisine is excellent and the service superb. Emily made us feel special and was responsive to our needs. She is the best! It is one of the finest restaurants in the United States.
Geronimos was truly a special experience. Everything was perfect. We were greeted like old friends and treated with such care. The food is magnificent, nothing really daring, but very artfully prepared and delicious. This restaurant was the icing on the cake for our trip to Santa Fe.
The service was great. The wine list was extensive and the Sommelier was very helpful in selecting wines not only to your taste but that pair well with your entree. The food was delicious. Be sure to have the beet salad. It's fabulous!!
This was a special occasion and everyone on the staff made it even more special. Everything was perfect!
Everything about the experience was spectacular and lived up to its reputation! This is a go-to place for me now whenever I’m back in Santa Fe.
As always, Geronimo did not disappoint. All of the dishes, that four of us had, were innovative and perfectly prepared, except for the pasta which was beyond al dente, but then, I do spend much of my time in Italy, so al dente pasta is what I always expect. The extensive choice of high quality wines allowed for great matching with the food. The service was attentive with a couple of minor problems.
Fantastic - as always! The best restaurant in New Mexico.
Everything was perfect
Simply the best in Santa Fe.
Geronimo’s is consistently the best restaurant in Santa Fe. I’ve going there for over 20 years and have never been disappointed 😊
Service and food were impeccable!
Fantastic experience from our arrival to departure. I can’t say enough nice things about our experience. Warm, inclusive, unbelievable food with good value.
Incredible meal - the mushroom soup and the elk were the highlights!
The kitchen sent out a taste of the soup when everyone else in our party ordered an app except me. Such a thoughtful touch. Everything was delicious from apps to desert. A real treat
We were in town from San Antonio, TX for New Years Eve. The meal was fantastic. The service was great. Definitely a place to eat at if you enjoy excellent food.
Best restaurant in Santa Fe. Consistently jmpeccable food, wine, and service. 5 stars.
Celebrating Holidays - annual ritual dinner at Geronimo’s
Emily, - fantastic service , Maya & Chris rock it too !
The best dining experience on the planet. Elk tenderloin can’t be beat. Bread is the best in class. Affordable wine selections, (Daou Cabernet). And the Meyer lemon crepe is the best dessert anywhere, anytime.
We had a fabulous meal, with fabulous service in a lovely setting
Nourie and Virginia were wonderful and made our daughter’s 18th birthday an epicurean delight.
Single draw back: got to the front desk and waited for the hostess, upon her arrival she asked if she could help me....umm, what?!!
A better question would have been, “will you be dining with us this evening?”
Otherwise, a sublime evening. Thank you all.
Geronimo’s does everything well;
The food was excellent. All four of us chose a different dish, and none was disappointed. Most remarkably, we were caught in a snow storm trying to get to a 9:30pm reservation, called when it was apparent we were going to be late, and the staff told us just to be careful and get there when we safely could. We arrived at 10pm and had a delightful dinner - no rush, a welcome respite from the cold and craziness outside.
We always look forward on our return to Santa Fe to dine at Geronimo and we were not disappointed this time. Our service, from the hostess who greeted us and took coats, to the waiter’s assistance and especially our waiter Noure B., was very finely choreographed making dining a pleasurable experience. Of course, the star is the exceptional food which for us was organic corn polenta chowder, mesquite grilled Main lobster over angel hair pasta and ending with the cream brûlée. Each course was expertly prepared, artfully presented and totally savory.
The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable.
Ten points out of Ten! Fantastic service (our server Jay, was fabulous). Outstanding food (Beef Carpacio, Tuna Tartare, Elk, Chocolate Hazlenut ). Good wine selection (Roger Perrin Chateau Neuf de Pape 2015). Very hospitable staff from the hostess on.
This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! Great staff and amazing food!
Refined delicious perfect
Brought you home if you’re born and raised in France -or Europe.
Would definitely go back.
Wonderful evening with amazing drinks and food. It is the talk of the town and for good reason!
Wonderful dining experience. Had a meyer lemon crepe for dessert that was very memorable.
I have been to Geronimo's many times over the years and our group felt that the overall dining experience was as excellent as ever. Ambience, service and, of course, our dinner made it an exceptional evening with friends.
Geronimo is my favorite restaurant in NM. My family and I try to celebrate Christmas every year with a fabulous dinner. This year was no exception. The food was outstanding. We ate foie gras, beef tar tar and crab cakes for appetizers - each with their own unique flavors, with a bit of NM integrated into the dish. For entrees, we had NY strip, lobster tails and chicken. The steak and chicken were both moist and flavorful, while the lobster was in a chili sauce that yielded an unusual spin on a classic dish. After all of this dessert included ice cream, sorbet and a lemon crepe - all very yummy and delicious! Our only complaint after all of this was the service. Our waiter was not very attentive or friendly. I observed other wait staff engaging with their customers throughout the evening. A bit of a disappointment. We will be back because it is after all my favorite restaurant - hopefully we will have someone else offering the best dinner selections in the state.
Geronimos never fails to deliver delicious food! Wait staff is attentive and ambience romantic, perfect for my birthday celebration. I only wish they would change their menu more frequently, surprising for what is obviously an outstanding chef.
