We had a very large party for a special occasion. Food was excellent. Atmosphere great.
The service was slow. Too long between appetizers and dinner.
I wasn’t convinced when my Vegan friends wanted a place in Little Italy with Vegan and gluten free food, but this place had more than enough choices for every taste, meat eaters included, and the lightest homemade gnocchi I’ve ever had!!!! Everyone left happy and full!
Nice anniversary dinner with my daughter and son-in-law . Rick our waiter was spot ! Food was impeccable !
Best chicken cacciatore I have ever had! Waiter was attentive, just a great meal!
Service was slow. We had to wait for several dishes. Uneven delivery of food.
The food and the music venues are always super. Owners with is always sweet and attentive.
We had a 6:15 reservation and finally received the check at 8:45. We had only two courses in this period of time. The owner did nothing but make excuses for the abominable service. The food was delicious but certainly not worth the extraordinary wait.
A must when in the Inner Harbor! Food was outstanding! Service by Onisha was fabulous! Thank you for the most memorable meal!
Awful. Didn’t eat. Paid the bill and left.
It was a very nice place where you could drink at the bar, eat at a table aaY from the bar or enjoy music upstairs. Food was good and reasonable.
I love the mix of rustic and classy, the decor all over the wall, that there was enough light to see the menu, but not so much it was glaring. We had a wonderful experience and discovered a new wine! Montepulciano- delicious!
I would highly recommend the food except for the minestrone soup. It had no flavor. Also, do not take any children there as there are no kids menu choices. I made a reservation but they didn’t have it so we had to wait a while. The owner is very nice and attentive.
I wanted to explore more of Little Italy and picked this restaurant after searching a bit on Google. It’s very small. We were not impressed with the service- our waiter wasn’t very warm or welcome, not checking our reservation or welcoming us for Baltimore restaurant week or explaining the menu. Our food was decent but small. However, 2 tables near us both had terrible experiences- one sending back their food twice for being cold and tasteless, and the other table hadn’t received their food by the time we left and they arrived before us. With such a small restaurant and only a few patrons on a Sunday night I expected much more from the staff and service. We will not be returning here.
Service was really poor and ruined the meal. The food might have been okay if the service was at least decent but because the service was so bad it made the food worse. I worked for years in food service, (running restaurants, cooking, service, etc.) this was one of the worse restaurants I've ever eaten at. It ruined what was otherwise a good trip to Baltimore.
Great food, good service. Will definitely return.
Server seemed nervous...perhaps she was new. Excellent value/pricing.
We were really pleased with the quality and taste of the food - it was delicious. The wait staff was friendly, and the service was prompt, which was also a big plus.
A great little restaurant. We went on a Saturday night night and it wasn’t busy - meaning my dinner party could have conversations without yelling to be heard. Our waiter, Jason, was very knowledgeable and attentive. The ambiance was charming. The food was outstanding- everyone including my kids were happy. The restaurant was very considerate and accommodating to my children’s food allergies. Our next trip to Baltimore will likely include another visit to Germano’s.
They have a vegan menu. Great service and food. Would definitely go back.
The food was very good. The service was just okay. I'd still go back.
Always a great place to have a celebration! We had a table of six and were given excellent service and the food was fabulous. Save room for cheesecake for dessert!!!
The food was delicious and the service was stellar. Our waiter Jason was great. Will definitely go back -- wanna try other dishes!
Excellent service and food. We have dined here before and only restaurant in Little Italy we frequent.
The waiters were so unorganized. I food was undercooked, it was hot as balls inside and one waiter was deff on drugs because there was no way in the lords name that he was normally like the way he was acting 😩
Best friend in town.
The Porchetta was awesome, just like in Italia! The flatbread was also excellent.
Excellent food and welcoming, efficient staff. Noise level was low since we were there for an early lunch. With a full restaurant level would probably be louder. Second time there, will definitely visit again!
Pizza was good, seafood past just ok. Did not get the homemade pasta.
We were a large party so perfection is never easy however the food was amazing. There was a slight hiccup with a missing soup delivery and 2 meals that were less than hot but each were quickly remedied and all were happy.
Hadn’t been to this restaurant in over 5 years. If you are in the Inner Harbor walk away from harbor and walk through little Italy. This place is here a long time. The owner is a very hospitable man. Food is very good. It’s a hidden gem.
Great italian food
Best Italian cuisine for reasonable price. If we are in ther area, we make it a point to dine there.
I've loved this place and have been dining here with a friend for years. You know places that are bigger or fancier, but you won't eat as well or be treated any better than here. From the first step in the door, you'll feel welcome. I especially love the small cozy first floor dining room. Small plates or full entre? You won't go wrong with any choice. Good wine list too. Our server on Friday evening was Jeannie, and she was great; knowledgeable and personable. Service was well paced, and the atmosphere encourages conversation. No loud music or kids or cell phones! Just civilized quiet. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Lovely welcome from the owner, and great service for a large group in their upstairs room!
Food, drinks and service was great! Bartender made us anything we asked for.
Germano's Piattini is excellent...great food choices. We were with six people, one who is a vegan and GP has a menu dedicated to vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. The owners and the waitstaff are wonderful - very attentive and sincere in their approach in asking if we liked everything, especially the food, which is wonderful. We have been there several times and we're planning to go again next week.
Very cozy. Staff were excellent and very attentive. Food is amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
We were so excited to try this place. Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow and our food took almost an hour to receive. I was very excited to try this place; however the flavor of the food was a total disappointment. Based on a combination of service and food quality I would not return.
I'm trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt - maybe the chef was just having an off night. The brussel sprouts were why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 for food. The entrees - lasagna and veal marsala both were served barely above room temperature. The lasagna probably would have been fine if not for the temp it was served. The veal was chewy and just not that tasty.
Hands down probably one of the worst places I’ve been to in Baltimore. Not only did it take 45 minutes for a beer, to our table, the salad stank, looked old af and the blue cheese had been replaced with cauliflower.
Multiple tables were sending their food back i think we were the only ones that walked out in disgust.
Chin up Germanos, you’ll not be getting my business again.
