Georgia Shrimp Co
My wife and I really enjoyed a great date night. The live band was a plus, to a wonderful dinner. Thank you Georgia Shrimp Co for a wonderful evening.
They had pork belly Puerto Rico style. It was so tough you couldn’t even cut it with a knife. Plus they brought me wrong order to start.
always good I definitely would return to try more dishes. We both had the special of the day which was grouper with two shrimp on top. Disappointed that there were not oysters that day. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
A very nice local spot.
We had been wanting to try Georgia Shrimp Co. for over a year, and in the last 3 weeks we have been twice! It's a magical hidden gem!! Selfishly, I'd like it to remain that way! The ambience is warm and intimate. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and more than happy to offer suggestions and pairings. The smoked salmon appetizer is hands down phenomenal, a staple at our table, along with a bottle of Glen Carlou Chardonnay! A perfect setting for date night, anniversary celebration or "you know what, I work hard!" We are kicking ourselves that we didn't take advantage earlier, but look forward to our next visit, every time!
Hv been there many times. Tonight was no good . Short on staff Food was mediocre.
Our server was nice and attentive. We were seated at a booth, it was early and not crowded so I can't comment on noise levels. The menu was a bit disappointing. We ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and was surprised when a large "smoked flavored" salmon filet arrived at the table, was expecting a thinner version. The cost would have been fine if the dish had been better prepared. Standard side salad, lemon rice, nothing special. My wife ordered the fried shrimp and compared it to frozen bagged shrimp. Appearance and taste forgettable. I think there are better representations out there of Georgia's seafood. I would not try this restaurant again.
The food here continues to decline. We had the calamari, which was good, but they drenched the sauce all over it vs on the side. Never seen that in my life. My wife ordered the large prawn entree, they were overcooked. I ordered the special chilean sea bass and scallops over spinach ravioli. The ravioli was good.
Best food and atmosphere in Peach Tree City
Didn’t have a very attentive server. In our two hours there she visited the table only three or four times. The food wasn’t great for now much it cost. Disappointed.
I gave it three stars but I was unable to make my reservation due to an unexpected power outage cancelling my reservations for the night. I have heard nothing but great things about this place and will still come back so I can see what it is all about. Thank you to the management for calling me and letting me know what was going on before I drove all the way to the restaurant.
Awesome service. We sat at the bar and the bartender/waitress was awesome! The ambiance was phenomenal and my guests were very pleased! We had a blast!
The food and service were excellent. I thought it was a little pricey. Especially the wine.
& fabulous!!! Shrimp & grits were the best we’ve ever had!!!!
Great service and food!
Great food, warm friendly service. I was impressed and would gladly come back. The salt water aquarium brought out the kid in me: “Look, it’s Dora.”
First ever dinning at Ga. Shrimp, will not be the last. Food was fresh excellent taste, and quality.
Good service and food.
Food was pretty good but nothing to write about. Lobster was dry not much flavor. Service was good. Expensive for food quality.
Georgia Shrimp Co is the perfect place to dine for good food and a casual date night.
Great atmosphere and great food. There are a lot of food choices and the desserts were nice as well. I look forward to returning.
Great Customer Service! And Always Great Food! Need to fix some of the Booth seats.
They sat us right next to the stage and it was loud. I wish they would have asked if the music was going to bother us. I did not like the bread. I preferred the previous version of the rolls they served. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and I did not care for the sauce dripped over the food. I prefer the sweet spicy dipping sauce they used to service. Food was good but seemed to take a long time to get the food once they ordered
Nice little restaurant in center of Peachtree City. Always have a good meal. Tonight was just OK. Nothing to complain about - nothing to brag about. Service really needs improvement - server had no idea about the specials - reading from a card and was ask us if we wanted desert when we were only half way through dinner. Felt rushed.
The food and drinks were excellent and the customer service was amazing.
5 course beer dinner, everything was exceptional tasting and the service was phenomenally excellent, the best around. Thank you Georgia Shrimp Company.
I would go back on a night they have entertainment only, Food is to much for what you get.
Always excellent. I tried the Big city spicy pasta that had shrimp and chicken and andouille sausage. It was very good and the best pasta seafood dish i can remember eating. My wife got the Julio Blanco which is a basa fish with grilled apples on top and it also was extrmely good! All in all a great dining experience and awesome food and service.
Not many people in the restaurant plenty of good seats open but we were sat in the bar and had to ask for a better table. My date asked for a different wine glass and was told they did not have any. Wine pour was a joke. Waitress was almost rude. After about 15-20 minutes she finally asked if we were ready to order???! Decided we would eat elsewhere and left.
Will not return.
We arrived on time as per the reservation, however, after nearly 15-20 minutes of waiting with no server in sight to tend to us (they were all standing around near the bar-with no adult "supervision" we decided to get up and walk out. We have been to this restaurant many times in the past and for some reason services have literally gone down hill. What a shame. We will rethink going back again.
We had a great dinner, celebrating 21 years of marriage. We were there on a Thursday evening so we were able to enjoy the live jazz music! I had the Mahi Mahi, it was delicious. My husband enjoyed the seafood special. Our server even allowed me to borrow her "readers". Everything about the evening was great. We will be back!
We sat outside so it was quiet. Our waitress, Michelle, was amazing. Food was fabulous. Loved the music, it was an added bonus!
This was our third negative experience at Georgia Shrimp Company and will not go back. The portion for their grilled shrimp dinner was small, 7 shrimp. They charge you extra if you want mashed potatoes instead of rice, even though they are the same price on the menu. The biggest complaint was the amount of time it took to get our food, which was the problem for all three visits. We were not the only party; there were many tables looking around wondering where their food was. I submitted an email to management after our second bad experience and never got a response, so I suppose there is no reason to send another one.
The food was fresh and delicious.Servers were very friendly and food was delivered quick and hot
I have eaten there for lunch and was not that memorable, but when we went for dinner it was amazing. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. We ordered a couple of appetizers and a Caesar Salad. My husband and I split the seafood Skillet Extravaganza. We had plenty of food for the 2 of us and it was very good! I would highly recommend to anybody!!!
Overall we enjoyed the dinner and live music.
The rolls that were served were hit or miss with being soft or extremely hard and dry.
The dishes were good with good portion.
Not certain we understood why the happy hour specials did not apply at the table....???
As always, the Ga Shrimp Company does not disappoint. The good is always very good and I love the optional specials and many times get one of them.
A hard to find location but the food and service were excellent once you get there. Yummy good fried shrimp, shrimp and grits, fried calamari, all cooked up Southern style. Lot's of non-shrimp, non-fried foods on the menu too.
When we first went in they sat us next to the band stand. The band started setting up when we got there so we asked to move and they moved us to another table. Still loud but good. The food is always excellent and the service attentive but not intrusive.
