We sat down for dinner and started eating. We immediately wanted to return the next day for lunch.
This is a nice restaurant in the heart of DC. Nice to place to go with family or friends.
Georgia Brown's Jazz Bunch is still the BEST!!!! Great choices in food. Great tasting food. The French toast is 'to die for'.
Everything was amazing! I would only say that it was too hot in the restaurant.
The food was delicious and the staff was nice. It is a bit cramped inside and the noise level was higher than you’d like in such a nice place. However I would recommend and done there again. The lamb chops were delicious.
Food was good. The salmon dish my friend had way WAY over cooked. But it was replaced and a free dessert was provided. Kind of ruined dinner because I had to eat mine or it would have gotten cold so we each ate separately. The server was as helpful as could be.
We had a great time celebrating my father's 70th birthday over a delicious meal.
Service was excellent and the food was very good. I would go back when in DC.
Great menus reasonably priced. A little loud for my preference otherwise it would have been rated a 5.
The food and the service were absolutely amazing. We were seated as soon as we arrived and our server was warm and friendly. He recommended the Devil Shrimp....it WAS amazing!
Went twice during a business trip. There were a lot of people there and it was a bit noisy but our servers were excellent, the food terrific, and the live jazz music was fun. I enjoyed the dinners there and would recommend it as a good local place for dinner if you are in town.
vry varied menu. food was very tasty and not overly spiced. very enjoyable meal. reasonable price. nicely quiet tho the crowd was small. but the spaceing between tables indicates this would have been quiet.
Food is not as good as it once was, I walk away slightly disappointed.
This restaurant rocks!!! We ordered the Shrimp and Grits and the Flatiron Steak with Scallops as an appetizer. Everything was so delicious!!!
The Devils Shrimp is amazing!!!
I live out of town and I look forward to the Sunday bunch when I am vising in the area. I enjoy the food and the atmosphere. It is nice to see this restaurant has kept it's standards.
The food from the buffet was amazing. However, the entree I took with me was not good. I ordered the meatloaf based on the waitresses recommendation and it was not good. 😔
Not the best place to go if you have an odd number of people. The hostess were willing to place us near the kitchen and place a chair in a heavy foot traffic area to seat our odd number of people.
Excellent service, good food, I lived in Charleston so am well versed in lowcountry cuisine.. it was good but not the best I’ve had in my life. Really enjoyed it though.
They know how to fry chicken here. It was delicious!!
Love the extensive gluten free menu options. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Our server was exceptional, though unfortunately I cannot remember his name; you man, curly hair; fair skinned; very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
The noise level was out of sight for a Wednesday night dinner. The band was completely unnecessary and it was impossible to carry on a normal dinner conversation with friends. I really like the food and the service was great but the noise will keep me away.
Small portion of food. Waitress was polite and prompt. Great ambiance.
I loved the extensive gluten free menu options. The gluten free jambalaya dish was awesome! I will visit again soon!
For the price was expecting a better brunch selection. Didn't have an omelette station, food was fair. Best items were the french toast and waffles. Other food was ok, seasoning a little bland. Deviled eggs no flavor. Was expecting another seafood selection besides shrimp, disappointed there was no mac n cheese, nor omelettes. Nice touch with the entree to go, that was probably the saving grace. Honestly not worth the cost. Our server was great! He was very attentive and pleasant.
We love Georgia Brown's!! We've gone twice for their Sunday Jazz Brunch. The food is amazing and the bottomless Mimosas are delicious! The band sounds fantastic and adds to the already jazzed up atmosphere.
Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. My 6 yr old loved the fried chicken and the extra attention she was given by our waitress.
This was my first time going to Georgia Browns and to put it simple they made a very good first impression. The food was great! I ordered the fried chicken along with collard greens and yams. The waitress was very warm and welcoming and very attentive.
I visited Georgia Brown's for a Saturday morning brunch date and, oh my word. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was even better. My server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave me all the right suggestions. The portion sizes are perfect. I will absolutely be dining here again. Highly recommend
The hostesses, waiters and wait staff were friendly, courteous and patient. They anticipated our needs and we did not want for anything. The chicken and waffles were excellent in terms of flavor and portion size. The cocktail was an original and the presentation was beautiful. My trip from Virginia to Washington, DC was worth the traffic.
First time there..Drove up from Baltimore Good Food,Excellent customer service and Beautiful atmosphere
Stood up to everything I heard. Definitely going back!!
Despite the elegant and interesting cuisine and the exceptional service, the noise level dampened our ability to discuss business issues among all four of us at the table.
Great food, friendly atmosphere and awesome live music.
Although we weren't greeted with a smile by the host, our waiter was amazing and very friendly. Clean throughout, the decor is beautiful.
A little too much sauce that overwhelmed my good, all-in-all...It was great.
The wait and bus staff were knowledgeable, attentive and solicitous. Food was great.
Ehhhh....just okay. I really wanted to like it even though it was pricey. We each had just the fried green tomatoes and a salad but it was just okay. Took a while for anyone to greet us other than the person bringing water. Everyone seated around us was getting fried chicken. It did look good. Don’t think I’d go back, though. It was a little strange- decor, ceiling height, etc
Shrimp and grits appetizer was really good. Both entrees we got, fried chicken and shrimp and grits, were both excellent. The ambiance was nice and the noise level was just above quiet.
