My husband and I were in DC for the weekend and Georgia Browns was in walking distance to the hotel. We were greeted when we arrived, we were about 20 minutes early, but the hostess was able to seat us. I wish I had taken pictures of the food, it was incredible!! We started off with fried green tomatoes & the bread basket. My husband ordered the country fried steak with jalapeno corn and mashed potatoes. The steak melted in your mouth and the corn was a perfect balance of sweet & hot. I ordered the lamb chops, with green beans and fingerling potatoes. The lamb was cooked to perfection! The service was impeccable.This is definitely a must go to place!!!

One of the best overall dining experiences during our trip, combining an interesting menu (clearly cooked by an experienced chef), good service and a comfortable attractive setting. A welcome relief from the steaks and hamburgers of the mid-west.

The greeter and server were excellent. We went for Sunday brunch. The food looked delicious. However, it was cold; not even lukewarm. So that affected the taste for me.

Service has declined over the years I recall GB back when service was a great experience. Server was mediocre. The dessert was bland and tasted store bought not the good kind. The food was okay but most items were dry. The temperature was not comfortable. The value was not worth it.

The entree were very bland, no flavorful taste. Fish over cooked and dry. Peach cobbler had a gummy oatmeal topping. Peaches were without nutmeg spice and vanilla extract. Anticipated a either a flaky golden crust top or breading crust instead of oatmeal or oats. Banana pudding had too much whip cream folded into the pudding. The banana pudding was too sweet and without real banana flavor. Presentation was appealing and appetizing. Environment was very nice. Friendly host & waitress. The food is too bland.

Arrived for reservation early but was able to be seated right away. Service was prompt and food was delivered hot and fast. A lot of food for the value.
