I had no idea the ambiance would be so invigoration. The food was amazing. I am from Louisiana and to say this was great food, means a lot.

We were greeted so warmly by the ladies at the front. The server was very professional and attentive. The pork chop, sweet potatoes and greens srlection were delicious. The music trio was good. I'd recommend Georgia Brown to anyone. A little noisy but not over bearing.

Came here with some family that was in town. Our waiter was great! He was super sweet and willing to take pictures for us. The Cowboy Steak was amazing. The oven roasted chicken was a little dry but the gravy they served with it was very good. If you want good chicken, stick with the fried chicken.

Overall a good experience. I would definitely go back to explore the menu more.

Georgia Brown's was amazing. The service (from the moment I arrived and a waiter opened the door for me since it was raining) to the host and server was amazing. Our server was engaged with providing me and my guest a great experience. It was clear she understood how to treat her tables! She helped us choose dishes that she loved. She didn't judge me when I asked for honey for my coffee. And she didn't judge me when I asked to take the left-over honey home! I hate to waste food!!

I'm leaving DC and I had wanted to go to this restaurant and the experience did not disappoint!!!

Food was decent. Service was inconsistent.....some of the staff were very personable and attentive. Others, not so much. Not sure the brunch was worth $50. I had expectations of a restaurant in New Orleans but this fell short.

Great brunch! Bottomless mimosas or bloody marys, omelet to order, waffles to order, turkey, to name a few items! Awesome live jazz band even sang happy birthday to our 21 year old birthday girl!--Thanks Brian! We had the best waiter on his last day--great service! This is the 2nd time we've been there and will go again for sure!

Delicious meal; I especially liked the Heirloom Tomato Stack. The noise level at out Saturday night visit was unacceptably high.

Service was not good - Waited 30 minutes after reservation time to be seated. After seated, waited another 20 - 30 minutes to order. First round of drinks came after appetizers were delivered.

The food and service was great, however I noted that it was an anniversary dinner on the reservation and we were sat at an awkward table against a wall in the center. I chose this over the iron gate, but I will not make that mistake again for a special occasion.

Great mix of ambiance, food, music, and great service. Great product mix. The music sets GB apart from other great restaurants in the DMV. The Roots; Brad, Ben and Mark are great. Just right. Not to loud, fun and entertaining. Almost forget the great hosts, cooks, bartenders, entire service staff, parking arrangements, they are all great too. Keep up great work! I normally come on Wednesday evening to get me through the week.

Sadly the service was lousy. The majority of the food was excellent, although I go the pork chop and it was over cooked and too dry.

Dinner was absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back to this place when I’m in DC again.

I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Luckily, I had enough room left over for chocolate pecan pie with ice cream for dessert. I left really full, happy, and satisfied.

High-fives to the kitchen and the service staff. I was very well taken care of.

Had an issue with seating - we were told we couldn’t move our table because the other tables were reserved. Spring me with manager and he accommodated is right away! Our server was excellent and the rest of the family birthday celebration was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend.

It's pricey for what it is. The food is good not great but you won't be grossed out. I didn't appreciate that the waiter kept coming back as if he were rushing us when we were trying to chat. It wasn't even crowded at at all, so I don't know what the hurry was. The portions were smaller than they should of been. I only felt full because I ate way too much bread. It was a fine experience and the location is great, but I don't think I'll be back.

I was there on Sunday, April 8th, 2018 and celebrated my Birthday. I not only enjoyed the brunch but also the jazz trio. What a treat especially when the Sax man serenaded me right at my table. What a wonderful time and also the person who was there with me enjoyed herself as well. I will be back not only for the brunch but also for lunch and dinner in the near future.

One of the best Sunday brunches in DC. Shrimp and best grits anywhere. Caution-juices and mimosas are charged by the glass-can get very expensive.

Georgia Browns is one of those places you take friend, family and business acquaintances when you want to have a home cooked southern meal - a place we have regularly dined for 10 years. This time was no exception. We had family from in town and they wanted to try the best buttermilk fried chicken, so GB’s was the place. When we arrived with dinner reservations for 5 people, the Maitre D’ assigned us a table for two (18x24) next to another table for two and added a chair. You know, this is where three people are asked to squeeze three plates, three water glasses, three wine glasses, etc. onto an 18x24 table- very crowded, indeed. While expressing our displeasure several times with the Maitre D’ before accepting the table, and noting several other available tables nearby, we were denied a larger table and politely told ”we are running a business and no other tables that size are available.” We were told, the tables we noticed were reserved. Our reservation, it seems, did not necessitate a 5 person table. Our choice, either walk out or stay. We decided to stay and, of course, we enjoyed our meals and service. Finding a table on a Saturday night, no doubt, would be a challenge at the last minute. During the course of our meal and service, a good one hour, we noted that no patrons were ever seated at the other tables that seated 5 people. So while the cooking staff and servers maintained their usual high standards, that level fell well short for the Maitre D’ on duty. Our experience with the Maitre D’ was enough to convince us that a return trip is highly unlikely. After all, we fortunately have many other choices in the District to select from. Our hope is that Management will recognize this deficiency and take corrective action in the near term.

First visit at Georgia Browns during a brunch visit. Service I received was great from my waiter. I enjoyed my food, although my steak was a little to well done. My daughters had chicken and waffles, which were good also. I would like to return for dinner and get a better feel of the dinner entrees.

Absolutely LOVE Georgia Browns! It never disappoints. I have gone there for dinners several times before but went for brunch this past time and it was phenomenal! Also great staff, very quick and always filling up your bottomless mimosas before they get halfway empty! Great place and great food.

Noisy even for an earl6 dinner.
Several large tables monopolized the staff causing delay in ordering and minimal services.
