I love taking my friends and family here when they visit! The Jazz Brunch is always wonderful!
This is by far one of the best DC brunches for your money. There is a mixed variety of food on the buffet to include baked salmon and spice peel and eat shrimp. My absolute favorites were the waffles w/pecan syrup, mini pecan pies and the sweet peach tea (you can actually taste the tea.) The atmosphere was very inviting with sounds from a live Jazz band. Our server, the omelette and craving station chefs were fantastic. I would highly recommend Georgia Brown's again.
Loooooove Georgia Brown’s! Our server was amazing❤️❤️❤️
Reservation worked well. Bar was great. Food was okay.
Our server Alexis was great! The service in general from the entire staff was amazing. We had the Devil’s Shrimp and the Deconstructed Jambalaya and it was so great!
Great service, the food was flavorful and a good serving
It was one of my worse experience since a long time ago. Food is not good, the service is bad and the price so expensive! I don't understand why this restaurant is still in the guides.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, the highest level of hospitality was set and maintained throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious. You can’t come to DC and miss out on this dining experience.
Georgia Brown's once was a good place to go when you needed a hit of Southern food. Unfortunately, it is well past its prime. Not only is the facility tired and worn, but worse, the quality of food and service has really gone down. I had a standard meal of fried green tomatoes (they used to be great, this time I could hardly eat them), fried chicken (it was dry inside and the crust tasted bad), greens (way too salty), and green beans (they just weren't good...how can you mess up Southern-style green beans?). My glass of wine (ordered right up front) wasn't served until the appetizers were complete. Really the only thing I enjoyed was the bread...it was still good.
This place is amazing! Being new to the DMV I was pretty excited about all the options for dining however, I cannot seem to go anywhere but here! Especially on Sundays for brunch and live jazz music. Here’s the breakdown:
1. The food is amazing and well portioned. My favorite is Sunday brunch and jazz! You get a variety of options and there is an omelet station.
2. The ambience is great as well. Very diverse crowd, music is great and a very lively atmosphere.
3. The pricing isn’t the cheapest however, I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. On Sundays for brunch they have bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys for $25.00. And trust me...they keep them coming!
4. Abdula is amazing!!!! Ask for him if you decide to stop in! If you are visiting...he is the best at welcoming you to the area. If you are a repeat he remembers you by name!
