We came in expecting the breakfast buffet and didn’t realize that wasn’t an option until we sat down. Therefore, we were had to adjust our expectations. It would’ve been nice if we were made aware of the changes to the menu prior to being seated. Overall the experience was ok - we’ve been here before and had a much better experience.

We had a great time celebrating my mom's birthday at Georgia Brown's. Everyone was pleased with their brunch selections and the service was great.

One of my the best dining experiences. My fiance and I were celebrating our one year engagement. Upon arrival we were seated and greeted with a glass of complimentary champagne. The food was amazing. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever! We also recieved complimentary peach cobbler. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in DC. I highly recommend this place!

Georgia Brown's need to do some updating their place. It looks old and outdated. Also, the fried green tomatoes were slimy with no taste at all. They should not cook such things if it's not the correct season for such items. I had not been to GB's for a long time, now I remember why I stopped going.

Georgia Brown's was amazing as always!!! It has been my go to spot to take someone who has never been before. The food is amazing with a lot to choose from, the staff is exceptional Every. Single. Time. AMD you always feel so welcome you want to come back.

This time I went on a Monday for my birthday celebration!! I went with the sole purpose of enjoying the fries green tomatoes and the sweet potato cheeaecake!! I decided on the fried chicken salad. It was so good y'all. I thought about that salad days later. My friend had the deconstructed Jambalaya. Also amazing and quite a bit of food!

The 15th street garage was full around lunch time when we came, so we rounded the corner and parked at the next one.

It wasn't very busy on that Monday, I had a reservation but we were immediately seated. Service was lightening fast, if I was on a true limited lunch break hour this would have been perfect. Stephon was our waiter he was awesome, bread was out very quickly as was our appetizer and our food came out fast as well. We are and then Stephon boxed out leftovers. Thank you for the fresh bread and butter to go!

I haven’t been to Georgia brown’s in years. I enjoyed the music and the take home meal. They need to update the decor. Very dark and gloomy inside.

Buffet food was good, not great, but made-to-order omlet was very good; take-home food was ordinary. Bloody Mary was very good, Mimosa was awful -- warm and no bubbles -- but waiter took it off bill. In all, a good value but better brunches elsewhere.

Dined for Sunday Brunch on March 8th. The food was
Good but the entree portion size to go were extremely small and this was my second visit. Mimosas had too much OJ and not worth The price. Lastly, the ladies room was horrible. Not clean at all! That makes you question the cleanliness elsewhere.

First visit to Georgia Brown's. The guys had lamb chops and really enjoyed them. My steak and fries were not good. Mac and cheese is great. My friend was very disappointed in her trout. Slightly strange service, and as it was my birthday, it was a bit disappointing.

Food was very good — and ambience was nice. My cocktail was fine, but my husband’s old fashioned was weirdly sweet. Service was friendly but extremely uneven in terms of pace. We waited ten minutes for initial visit from server and over 20 minutes after finishing meal to receive the check. Left feeling frustrated.

The service was by far the best in the area. The waiter was excellent in the explaining the menu plus his service was awesome. The only examples of sadness for the evening was the desert. Bread pudding was dry. It is one of my favorite sweets and I expected to be swept off my feet. However, my wife and I will try this again on our next visit to DC.

Adequate, but not as good as my last experience several years ago. Service good but food disappointing. Salmon was "fishy". Ok, but is now middle tier.

Georgia Brown's is always a great restaurant to go to. My wife and I went tonight for date night. I had the catfish and she had the buttermilk fried chicken. Everything was amazing, and I waiter Jonathan was on top of his game!

There is just no place like Georgia Brown's. As a transplanted southerner, this place delights me to my soul. The food is authentically deep south without the 'bad stuff' we all grew up digesting. Updated but true to its roots.

We really enjoyed their Sunday Jazz Brunch. Food was delicious, atmosphere was NICE! Jazz band/singer did a nice job. First
all-you-can-eat brunch I’ve ever been to where they give you a TO GO platter from a select menu. BEST BRUNCH EVER!!!!

Went to the Sunday jazz brunch , really enjoyed the food, music and service. Not an overwhelming buffet, but good solid brunch food.... especially the seasoned shrimp. The biggest bargain is the addition of a take home menu, included in the price. The gumbo and meatloaf that we got were very flavorful. Service was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to DC

I expected so much more. The seating was cramped. And while the musicians were extremely talented, they should have been put somewhere so that their playing didn’t drown out conversations. And the food was lackluster.

Must stop if you are visiting the DC area. Bring an appetite and bring a few friends - just make sure you grab a reservation first! Try the sampler platter and go from there.

The customer service we experienced on 2-24-20 was outstanding:
Hostess: we had 2 reservations for 2, 4 tops bc we could not get table for 8. On arrival, she made a table for 7 work out very comfortably.
Busser: first glass of water delivered to table accidentally slipped out of his fingers and broke on the table. He made the perfect joke about it, no harm was done and other staff came over immediately to help w new everything within 2 min all was like nothing happened - perfect
Waitress: phenomenal. Funny, on target w her recommendations, knowledgeable of menu (food and drinks), and fast. Accommodated separate checks (business travel). Just lovely.
Food: delicious, attractive, plenty of it
$: just a little on expensive side

The food was very good. More low country than true country but ample selections. The she crab soup was very good and had more. Crab than any previous version I’ve had at other restaurants. Our group was very satisfied with pork chop, jambalaya, steak, and meat loaf. Wine list is ok. You will enjoy this restaurant
