Our server Tyler did an outstanding job of making my husband and daughter’s birthday celebration special for our family, even on an incredibly busy evening. Food was caringly prepared and delivered and his service was outstanding. So glad that we have Grillfire in our neighborhood— we live coming here!
Second time eating Here. The Meatloaf with brown gravy was very good. I usually don't like brown gravy but this was the best I ever had. I got the Creamed spinach which was the best I ever had. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and enjoyed them. I wouldn't mind coming here every Sunday.
It was our first visit to Grillfire but not our last. The service was excellent and so was the food. We were not rushed through our courses and enjoyed everything.
Food was just ok. Server very inattentive.
steak burger was awesome, server was really good. thx
This was our third visit. Service was great as usual. I ordered the Short Ribs this time. They were a bit tough to me. Portion size was great. The grits were only lukewarm. I reheated them the next day on low and that allowed the ribs to cook down more. The BBQ wings were very tasty! My husband ordered regular ribs and shrimp - they were melt in your mouth!
We will return but I will likely not order short ribs again...
We started with three classic appetizers; chili pop shrimp, brussel sprouts, and tuna nachos , a great satisfying variety. We enjoyed them with the delicious complimentary bread. They have great hand crafted cocktails and the craft beer list has many options for our beer lover. Our entrees tuna, salmon (prepared two different ways), meatloaf, and a 10 oz pork chop were all excellent. The sides are really suggestions because they are very accommodating about switching the sides to your liking. Service is attentive. Matt the General Manager of both Grill Fire and its sister restaurant next door keeps a watchful eye on everything making sure that all runs smoothly while making the guests feel welcomed. Dessert here is worth having but either way we always enjoy the complimentary cotton candy. It really is a sweet happy ending. GrillFire does it all right!
Blackened Ahi Tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes was fantastic. I could live on those potatoes! Also enjoyed the wedge salad. Only complaints are that salads aren't included with the entrees and are an upcharge of $6 and it can get pretty loud. The cotton candy at the end of the meal is always a fun way to end the evening. Server (I think his name was Jerry) was awesome.
Service was very slow and the appetizer and the main dish were ready at the same time. The restaurant was not crowded.
The Brussels sprouts app was yummy as was my salad. My filet was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was attentive and polite.
Been here before and was good experience. Will come back again.
My fiancé and I had never been and a friend had randomly texted this place to me. We are two picky eaters along with my son and his fiancé who will eat almost anything. Our plates were cleaned and our tummies were happily filled.
Hadn't been here in a while, so thought would try as my client was staying at BWI hotel. Although the waiter (Jeff) was fine, thought the food was less than what it should be. Fettuccine cream sauce was too "soupy" I thought although the lobster and shrimp in this dish was fine. Overall, the dish seemed bland. Ditto for beet salad starter. Love beets, but there was not much exciting about that dish either. A couple of small beets and mostly greens. As I indicated, our service was fine.
To be fair, my colleagues had no real complaints so maybe it was just an off night for one of us...either the chef or myself. However, I probably won't rush back to this one.
well-done grilled food; averageish crab cake; music is too loud and too "Night at the Roxbury"; attentive service; hip decor
Great location to celebrate with family and friends. Brunch was excellent.
Waitress didn’t bring drink order and was busy chatting with people at another table
This came as a recommendation for a business dinner and I could not be happier with the choice. It was a Monday night and located in a hotel. At first I was skeptical seeing its not freestanding structure. Well was I surprised! The place was packed at 7:45pm on a Monday evening so it had a great vibe. I recommend reservations. The price point was not as high as some of the chop houses and you can order a wide range of items.
We shared the brussel sprouts app and it was amazing. I had the "side" wedge salad which was a huge portion, enough to split and delicious with the balsamic drizzle. Two of us had the skewered shrimp and added the crab imperial topping which was served over the Spanish rice. Yum! The other person had the salmon which she really liked and had a special diet which they were happy to accommodate. We ordered the apple crunch for dessert with ice cream. Enough to share. At the end of every meal or with dessert, the waiter brings a cone of cotton candy to the table. I did not know this so it was a really cool surprise. Little did I know that one of my business colleagues loves cotton candy and finished the entire serving! Highly recommend.
Great Brussels sprouts. I had the swordfish. Healthy choice and very good.
My server was truly excellent!!!!! Cant wait to go back to this place!
Food was really good and I loved the drink, I will be back
This was my first time here. I was hosting my meetup group for lunch. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and music. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.
We frequently go to GrillFire. We asked some friends to join us, and they were impressed. We arrived early so we stopped in the lounge for Happy Hour before dinner. John the bartender is amazing - remembering customer's preferences, keeping up with the crowds and providing great service. Our friends quickly saw why we frequent this restaurant. Kristina the manager provides a welcoming atmosphere, and attends to all of her guests. Our server Jess was wonderful, allowing us to set the pace for dinner. She was friendly and attentive to all our requests. We enjoyed three appetizers: one was a special of the night, the Buffalo cauliflower, which was very good; the delicious Brussels sprouts, and excellent crab balls. Every entree was prepared perfectly - pork, crab cakes, and Adobe Chicken, as well as salmon - we had them all! Desserts here are worth having. We shared three among the six of us, and even though we were full, we were glad we did. They do it all well - cocktails too!
I have been to Grill fire several times and have not been disappointed yet. The food is good and the service is great. The restaurant can accommodate small or large groups. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This was my second time here and I brought 2 other couples with us. Everything was amazing! Drinks, food, service! Spot on! Everyone loved this place and we will be back! I ordered the short ribs and damn they were the best I have ever had and the grits, to die for!!! Drinks were heavy handed which is always a plus!
Grill Fire is a favorite restaurant so I was not surprised when a friend picked it to celebrate his birthday. Service here is always stellar. All four entrees - the Salmon (Thai Chili Glazed), Memphis Rubbed Pork Chop, Barbecue Baby Back Ribs, and Adobo Chicken - were cooked to perfection. Desserts are worth having - even a candle in the birthday person's dessert! Always 5 stars!
The service was impeccable. The food was good, some very good, some just good. We enjoyed it very much
I was very surprised with this place...pleasantly. My wife and I found this near Maryland Live and enjoyed the atmosphere. Its inside The Hotel and the service was very nice. I had a wedge salad and wings and she had calamari and wings. We actually stopped by for drinks and got a little food while there. The drinks were great. I like this place.
All I can say is wow! We were seated reluctantly, even though the restaurant wasn't packed and we had a reservation. We arrived about 20 mins. early. After being seated, we were quickly serviced for drink and appetizer orders. When the waitress returned, we ordered dinner, only to learn that 2 of the entrees our table wanted were "sold out." How? they had a limited Valentine's Day menu -- So that HELPS restaurants "prepare" and "stay ahead." Not here. We ordered things that we didn't want, as a result. After about 45 minutes, the waitress says, "Oh, your food is on the way out...Sorry for the delay. Your next drink is on our manager." 15 minutes later, they serve the 3 of us our entrees -- 2 of them are refrigerator cold. 1 of the cold ones (PORK) was rare and pink inside. When we told the waitress, she sent the manager over who said he would them over, BUT "we serve our pork pink." YUCK. I ended up just ordering crabcakes, which were just okay. Insanely disappointing experience for our Girl's Valentine's Day out. It's one thing that our men were out of the country on business (2 of our guys), but to get there on Love Day, and have such a horrible experience -- Terrible. Go somewhere else...Save the frustration.
Solid visit, food was good. I would have preferred a booth but other than that it was great!
Had dinner on Valentine's Day. Spiked Lemonade was a great starter drink. Sangria was delightful 2nd runner-up. Highly recommend the Short Rib entree. Although it came delivered to my table luke warm on a hot to touch plate, it was very flavorful. My companion had the Mahi Mahi, and it was bland, so it was sent back for a short rib. Jess, our waitress was wonderful! Tried to use my Open Table gift card but the manager denied it, so that frustrated me, but I didn't make a big deal of it. Overall, would go back again but be alittle more stern as a patron but couldn't this go round because we were in a rush to get to a movie.
Great food and great service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Restaurant decided to abandon entire normal menu for a smaller menu without notice. My wife and I cane here for dishes we like on the normal menu. At 6:15 pm they were already running out of items.
Great find right here. The food was pretty good and well presented.
Portions are not proportional to the cost but worth it for a once in a while dinner.
Cocktails were great. Brussels Sprouts appetizer was awesome (I know - brussels sprouts?) but a friend recommended and they didn't disappoint. Crabcakes were good, but not great. Overall a great evening.
Great Happy Hour and lounge/bar scene! They have great food - not just the greasy appetizers that most bars have for happy hour but wonderful apps at great prices. The slider of the day is a real treat as well! In addition you can always order from the menu to supplement with a salad or other appetizers. If you aren't in the mood for the great craft beers or house wines / bar drinks, the handcrafted cocktails here are really special. The bar staff are friendly and efficient. Love this restaurant for dinner but will also now meet friends for Happy Hour too!
I literally had the best steak of my life there this week. I got the filet and lobster tail and it was to die for. My boyfriend had the ribs and also loved them. We will definitely be back for more!
Attended a rehearsal dinner here and my husband said it was the best steak he ever had, so we came back to celebrate a special occasion. Food was excellent again.
my wife and I had a date night and wanted to try some place different and we were pleasantly surprised. we both got steak and they were cooked to perfection. The sides were very good the salad was excellent. I'm sure we will be back.
Celebrated my birthday there. Food, drinks and service were excellent!
