This place was amazingly beautiful, I had an amazing time watching the view. The waiter was a sweetheart .
great service and amazing view. a good choice for dating and enjoy the sea.
they had reserved a table outside and we wanted to be inside... they immediately changed us to a warm intimate table inside without a hitch
waitress was excellent, checking on us without being annoying
The view is breathtaking and you can hear the ocean. The food is wonderful and the service is friendly and efficient. There are only a few places that can make having lunch feel like a mini vacation and this is one of them. It is also wonderful for special occasions.
My mother is in visiting from Chicago and of course I had to show her all the beauty that is Malibu. All that she asked for was oysters & a view.
The service was hands down unparalleled. Our server came over maybe 4 times, to check in, as if we were enjoying, but nothing more. He was friendly, well spoken and polite. Too many times at resturants in LA (or the US in general) you feel like you’re constantly being pestered by your server.
The view was breathtaking. The drinks were delicious. I cannot say enough wonderful things. Great establishment. I will be back.
Outstanding!! Stellar views!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
Awesome in every way!
This was our 3rd visit to Geoffrey's, and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is what gets me there, but the food keeps me coming back. Very upscale, but never stuffy.
The food was great and the service was really friendly and quick. The price seemed a bit over the top. There wasn't much to the ambiance given it was a rainy day and they gave us patio seating where they have plastic curtains outside to cover from the weather.
Apparently pet friendly too - not just service animals.
Good food. Service was great. A bit expensive but worth it for a special occasion. I recommend the tuna tartare and the salmon. The baked Brie was great but a little on the small side. I would say this place is good for appetizers and drinks mostly. And of course the view. Our server Ariel was very thoughtful but seemed a bit rehearsed in a way. Maybe because he’s not from here? His little accent was adorable though. Solid spot to go to impress a date. The Moët drink with elderberry is outstanding. The Bloody Mary is average.
Dinner was a gift for two friends for a double celebration, 25th birthday and engagement. To celebrate at Geoffrey’s was the perfect place !
Food was well prepared and service was excellent. Great for a date and special occasion
Laura was very attentive to our needs. Abraham was also great. View and ambiance was magnificent. Will come back when we are back in Malibu. Compliments to the chef!!!
Brunch was wonderful. Will be back.
One cannot beat the view! Truly stunning and quiet to contemplate at 10AM reservation. We were seated at 945am, but we didn't get an official greeting by the waiter until exactly 10AM (by the book, I guess). The menu was standard with Appetizers (the Tuna Tartare was good), Salads, Eggs Benedict with a Seafood Choice were the major fare. 1st Definition of Brunch I would say, not too adventurous of a menu (spicy or biscuits etc). Drinks were Ordered first, but 1- there wasn't a coffee non-alcoholic drink menu list (had to converse a list out of the waiter), 2- an iced tea was ordered that never arrived...once a breeze came through we switched to a hot tea. For a place that bills as upper end, a $4.95USD tea for a hot water pot and a Bigelow Earl Grey tea bag was a little steep. The waiters were really by the book - no real friendliness, and what I would characterize as "somewhat removed" from the serving process. It seemed odd to me. Meal was average. And I was offered a second coffee, even though I was still sipping my original latte. Again, odd service experience. Main point to go is the view - a great first time introduction to Malibu but I don't think I'll be back until I begin to crave the view again. I certainly hope the kitchen goes from average to top notch (it certainly has all the elements ($, view, ambiance) to make that happen!)
We just got engaged at Geoffrey’s and everything was perfect. The Champaign waiting. The lovely ocean view table and superb food. Thank you for mankind this our exceptional day and place to remember.
I am a Kansas City guy, so any exposure to ocean views are spectacular. Geoffrey's is beyond spectacular. Often restaurants with great views tend to rely on their views or location rather than the quality of their food, Geoffrey's does no such thing, the food at Geoffrey's is just as spectacular as its ambiance and views.
Even though I'm from Kansas City, I average at least 3 lunches a year at Geoffrey's and hope to be able to continue such tradition.
Great food and excellent service!! The view of the Malibu beach is gorgeous. The lobster is one of the best I’ve ever had. Will come back again!
Without a doubt, Geoffrey’s is our favorite spot in Malibu, Attentive service, breathtaking views , delicious food and drink in an upscale yet laid back atmosphere.
Lovely location, and excellent top notch service with an outstanding view. Interesting cocktails and terrific menu options. All in our party enjoyed the ambiance, service and delicious entree options.
I requested waterfront table to celebrate my birthday when I reserved but was originally placed next to the bar and not near water. In my opinion one of the worse tables. I waited for a waterside table as I requested weeks before. The hostess was able to find a table very quickly that was much better. Our server was great. They sent over a complimentary dessert. I have spent many birthdays there for lunch over the past ten years. The food is always outstanding.
Best view! Best service! Must do while in Malibu!!!
The place is incredibly overrated and outrageously pricey for mediocre food and ambiance. Will definitely be a one-timer for me.
Had an amazing experience at Geoffrey's celebrating an anniversary! Was skeptical considering some of the mixed reviews but if you're looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion this is the spot.
First time at Geoffrey's for dinner (usually come for brunch) and we were not disappointed. Significant other had the petite filet and I had the scallops--both were excellent. It was busy due to the Valentine's Day week and a number of birthdays that were being celebrated (my GF's included). Our server was rushed, but he was still great and the staff helped cover. I still prefer Geoffrey's for brunch/lunch for the beautiful daytime, Malibu view but if you're thinking of coming for dinner once...do it...
The restaurant had very romantic settings but very casual. The fish dishes and the Jidorie chicken were very tasty.
Was there many years ago and loved it. This time , it was a great dining experience and loved it even more!
Amazing views of the Pacific Ocean! The food was delicious ( we had the quiche Lorraine) and the service was impeccable.
If you go thinking it’s an expensive Cheesecake Factory you’ll be fine. If you go thinking is a high end restaurant you’ll be disappointed. From the valets wearing reflective lime green vests , the pager they hand you when you check in , the bar tender who champs on her gum and needs to be flagged down to place your order. The waitress who asked us and other tables to rearrange the table so she can put the food down. I watched the wait staff giving shoulder massages to each other. Just a very unprofessional-staff in general. The busses removed our plates without asking if we were finished. . The menu is the same tired dishes since 2011 or before. This restaurant is all about being by the ocean and has given up on trying to do anything to keep fresh or have any high standard. They should be aware there’s something amiss since there were a few empty tables at prime time on a Saturday night. . Again, an expensive Cheesecake Factory with a pretty location.
Beautiful experience with gorgeous views!
Great food, good service, great view. Very expensive.
We had brunch here. Loved it! Incredible view. We had the crab Benedict and the shiitake omelet. Fantastic!
Our waiter left much to be desired. Never offered us cocktails, we were rushed through our meal although there were a few open tables. Food was below average and the prices were exorbitant.
Went for my 20 year anniversary. Not only did I have a great view of my wife we had Fantastic food and beautiful views. Well worth it the drive. We went right at sunset it was amazing. They have outdoor heaters for the cool nights.
The Mussels were superb. Geoffrey’s fell short when it came to the Chilean sea bass. The fish was over cooked and quite dry. They really ruin it. Also, the Chicken salad is nothing special when you consider how much they charge for the entry.
We’ve rated lunch at Geoffrey’s many times and it never fails to impress us . The views can’t be beat and the food and service wonderful
Love this place. Very romantic, grate service, amazing food.
Will defiantly recommend this place.
Great restaurant. Friendly staff and amazing food.
It’s a nice venue but the food quality is not good at all! They have to change their setup for occasions like valentine.
The place has a nice ocean view.
