   Nice table for husband’s 70th birthday. Food was good, but not great for the overall cost. Wine list good, but would appreciate more champagne choices.

   This was our second visit to Geoffrey’s for dinner. Everything about this restaurant is excellent. The main course menu includes mostly seafood and beef. They also have great appetizers and desserts. Finally we have been seated outside on the deck overlooking the ocean on both visits with a spectacular view. It’s not inexpensive but it’s worth it.

   We are locals to Santa Barbara, Malibu and Geoffrey’s. In the reservation, made months in advance, we asked for a table at the far end of the restaurant with a view. We spoke directly to the staff three times about this and our 65th birthday celebration. Since we have eaten there many times over many years we knew where we wanted the table and had specially asked for it. We were given the worst table in the restaurant near the hostess table. The hostess and then manager curtly dismissed our dissatisfaction. No change was offered. The restaurant clearly does not want locals and only tourists who won’t be back. We reached out to ownership using the card at the hostess table but never received a reply. No problem we won’t be back.

   Our waiter, Ray, was wonderful and made the experience even better. Alan was very nice and came to talk to us as well. We had a small private table in the garden with the most magnificent view, and it was just the perfect night. We were celebrating my husband’s graduation with my in laws and you all made it every special. Thank you!!

   Great experience. I really disliked the 1st table I was seated at, but the crew was kind of enough to seat us at table with a better view(view was the main reason to attend). Food was solid. Our waiter Jason was stellar. All in all great time.

   What a lovely way to spend our anniversary dinner! Our server, Drew, took good care of us - he answered questions and was friendly & available, but never intrusive. The patio seating made it easy to have a quiet, intimate conversation. We shared delicious appetizers - crab cakes and ahi tuna tartar (both on wonderful sauces.) For dinner I had the scallops and my husband had the filet. Both were really good - cooked to perfection, ample quantity (we both took half home.) For dessert (we just had to have dessert...) we shared the yummy apple tart! Valet parking was easy and prompt in delivering our car ($15 charge is added to your tab if you choose to valet - parking on PCH can be tricky.) While Geoffrey's is pricey, it is an excellent choice for a special occasion.

   Fabulous view and excellent service. Great selection of wine at reasonable prices. But, unfortunately, the food disappointed. The Ahi tuna tartar was mushy The spicy fried oysters and the corn chowder were FABULOUS. The 12 oz prime New York steak was good, but for $75 it underwhelmed. Only 50% success on the food Maybe next time enjoy the view early with just drinks and appetizers and then go somewhere else for dinner.....

   The table location and view was great. The service could have been better as far as a smile and a bit more attention to details. The food was tasty. I would like to see a bit more encouraging for a dress code that at the very least requires male guests to wear pants. Sweat-shorts and athletic wear should not be allowed for dinner. The influx of attire that was athletic wear affected my overall experience.

    We went for anniversary dinner - asked for table with view - we were sat right at the edge of patio overlooking water (and a few houses so no waves). We had not been before, and loved it. We will definitely return Service was fantastic Drinks were strong like I like them
