An experience worth coming back for.
Food was great. Service very good. Didi was our server’s name. Dinner was to celebrate a birthday for my fiancée. Usually a high end restaurant comps the desert. Not here. They need to update their wine list on their menu as it was incorrect.
What an iconic Malibu Restaurant. Gorgeous views, gracious wait staff, excellent food. We had the kale salad, scallops and filet. All perfect. Highly recommend Geoffreys to tourists and locals.
Really enjoyed my time
Loved it my parents loved it we all loved the view
Really beautiful open dining setting overlooking the ocean. The food is excellent, especially the Sauteed Maine Mussels and the Sauteed Day Boat Sea Scallops. The Paella was a bit soggy but that may be just a personal preference. It is, however, very tasty. Do not forget to complete your meal with the Creme Brulee dessert. Valet parking is a good idea as street parking is finding a spot along Hwy 1. It is quite a drive up Hwy 1 but well worth it.
It was a great place to spend my 50th.
Lovely ambiance. The cucumber martini was not tasty. The lobster quiche and crab cakes were quite good. Will definitely return.
This place is absolutely perfect- I love the ambiance and the view is AMAZING!
We had a wonderful anniversary evening with great food and just the right pace of service. Terrific and thanks.
Ambiance is great. Our waiter was inattentive, mischarged us and got our valet tickets messed up. We got the wrong car!! Salmon and sides were flavorless.
Great place for a romantic dinner overlooking the ocean. Enjoyed the place very much.
The vibe was relaxed and soothing. Beautiful ocean views. It started to rain shortly after we were seated at one of the patio tables. The staff were amazing. So accommodating and moved us right away to a table under the roof line. Food was delicious. We had scallops and sea bass - so good! Our food server Marvin was tremendous. We will ask for him on our next visit!
GREAT service 💗
The ambiance is wonderful and the view is worth everything. The steak was not a good cut, but they took it off the bill, but that's not really what we want.
Honestly, the food at Geoffrey’s is amazing but the ambiance is my favorite part. Truly feels like you’re having dinner at a restaurant inside a beautiful resort. A date night must.
Most amazing view! I always come here whenever I visit Malibu. it is a must! The food isn't the greatest but they are still pretty good and very generous with their portions and the view makes up for it. The service is amazing here. Our server definitely made us feel welcomed!
The ambience is hard to beat, yet the food was extremely overpriced, and of poor quality. I suggest going for a drink to experience the view, yet don't waste your time or money on dining~
Seating is not ideal, very few tables in use,
The restaurant is beautifully located overlooking the ocean. It’s very romantic. The views are stunning the ambiance is elegant and relaxed. The service and food is great. I highly recommend for any type of occasion.
Beautiful setting, fantastic ambiance, great service (Kenny was server). The reason I gave it an overall three stars was because the food wasn't the same quality that it has been in the past. Scallops were charred on the outside, but not fully cooked on the inside and the NY steak was quite tough. I am sure the drop in food quality has everything to do with the pandemic and the difficulty in getting food and other supplies - this seems to be the case with a lot of restaurants and undestandably so. I will definitely go back at some point, but was dissapointed in the overall food quality. If you are reading this review, I sill recommend this restaurant, but food quality is not what it was a couple of years ago. Order the appetizers and enjoy some drinks in a beautiful setting for the best experience.
100% worth the money. The restaurant was quiet and clean. The staff was super friendly. Not not once did we have to flag someone down and ask for anything. our waiter, Manny was on point.
In short, everything was perfect. One of our favorite spots for many years.
Beautiful spot. Food was solid but nothing remarkable. Very good wine list and the reception folks and the service were warm and terrific.
Our waiter Filip was really attentive and great. View is spectacular and the food is DELICIOUS
Keeva was our standing as we’re other staff. Friendly, funny, always around, flexible. Lots of heaters to stay warm. Tables are set so only 1/2 the party has a view but not much can be done about that. Drinks are pricey but tasty. Food is also a bit pricey for for a special, well worth it. My filet mignon was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Like butta. Side dishes were paired perfectly also. I tried the scallops and they were yummy. Ribeye as above average but I’d recommend the other dishes. All in all for a 60th birthday, I was extremely pleased.
this was a great birthday lunch for my husband - the food was fresh, service was quick and our server was entertaining, nice and helpful.
I have always been a great fan of this restaurant. It is iconic and if you want the full Malibu experience with the killer view, this is the place. Wait staff are amazing, the food is great, and the ambiance is top notch. Worth spending the dough to have a Geoffrey's experience. You get what you pay for!
We were looking forward to our anniversary dinner at Geoffrey's with an awesome view of the ocean. However, a thick fog enveloped the area and you couldn't see ocean or sky. Then it broke a little bit, and our oceanside table had the most atmospheric romantic view, of a half fog laden sky, a new moon, stars and the sound of crashing waves. We sat in the patio because dogs were allowed. Our dog got a lot of attention and laid next to our table contentedly. Food and service were good.
The landscaping at the restaurant is beautiful, the overall ambience romantic and relaxing.
Angel was a great server! Food was delicious and served intentionally. Can’t wait to return.
Amazing experience. Prompt service. Delicious food in a great setting.
Awesome! Delicious food and amazing view and friendly service highly reccomend.
Amazing sunset view and great food!
My Heaven on earth: outstanding ocean views, delicious cuisine, friendly staff and perfect service.
We have been going to Geoffrey's for YEARS. We stopped for awhile because the menu seemed stagnant. We returned for our annual New Years Sunday lunch. The menu changed, the food was exceptional and the portions were quite generous.
very good food however prices are steep for 3 persons no alcoholic drinks 430.00 dlls I do like the restaurant my only complaint but will be back
Great food and sunset!! Will definitely be back!
Awesome view and ambiance. Crab Benedict was delicious. Cocktails were great too
