Geoffrey's Malibu has a wonderful New Year's Prix Fix Dinner Menu at $98 per person. Menus are also available on our website Geoffreysmalibu.com
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Malibu I have been going to Joffrey’s my entire life, i am 54. I feel very much at home and it is my favorite restaurant! The service, the food, the memories. Hard to beat.
If you enjoy environments filled with elegance, bliss, and sensational salivating aromas then go ahead and give Geoffrey's a whirl. Geoffrey's provided my friend and I an amazing cheese charcuterie plate, Ahi Tuna, and a plate of seafood filled Paella while allowing me to chow down and gaze at a stellar beach view atop the peaceful Malibu cove. The food was delicious and they had a great selection of wine and cocktails to choose from. Not to mention, the staff from the hostess to waiter to valet were very kind and warm upon arrival. I for sure give Geoffrey's an overall A+ in my restaurant grading book. It is a very pricey place but if you want quality food in Malibu then at least Geoffrey's will make sure every penny you spend is worth it.
The food is (always) outstanding the location spectacular, the ambience very welcoming and the service is excellent.
Best restaurant in the world!
It is always a happy day when my friends and I dine at Geoffreys. The ambience, the good natured service people and the food are so well prepared and tasty. I had the very delicious Crab Eggs Benedict and one friend had the omelette with mushrooms and she absolutely raved about it.
The setting is beautiful, and the service was amazing, with one huge exception. (really huge). You are forced to valet, which is extremely pricey ($12) which is added to your food bill so that you are forced to tip on top of that huge charge. This was not even the biggest issue. After paying $12 plus tip to valet, for him to move our car 2 feet, we noticed waiting for the car that there was the smell of smoke. When we got in the car, my car stunk of smoke! The smell lasted in my car for over 24 hours. It was awful. We had to drive in the cold with the windows open because the air in the car was unbreatheable, and my car still smelled the next day. To me, that is absolutely unacceptable that I would have to pay $15 for my car to be made to smell like smoke. If he could not refrain from smoking, he should have offered for us to get our own car. We had a lovely night (although I would recommend that the $70 rib eye is no special cut of meat, and definitely not worth the money, but the scallops and the salad were amazing, and the service inside the restaurant was impeccable), and the experience was ruined by the valet experience, specifically, my car being made to stink after being moved a few feet. Re the rib eye entree, we commented the the amount of brussels sprouts and potatoes were much bigger than necessary, and the response of the wait staff was that the entree was so expensive, people expect bigger portions. This seemed unnecessary, but again, the dish was overpriced. We would have expected a thicker cut of meat. Again, the salads (wedge and watermelon) were both wonderful, and the scallops divine. The wedge salad is very large, certainly large enough to share.
Loved it ........ can’t wait to go back
Great views, great food!
My visit to this restaurant was mainly for its ocean view. I’ve requested a table by the ocean, however Ive got a table with the view of a high overgrown bush and the view was totally obstructed. My suggest to the manager to trim the bush so all the tables can experience the ocean view.
This restaurant has a truly amazing view and the food and service is just as amazing. A real treat.
Wonderful waiter, atmosphere, views and food.
Love this place. First time we went for sunset - spectacular! And the food + service are always amazing.
Absolutely wonderful experience. I took my girlfriend here for a date and everything was perfect. We sat outside over looking the water and it was absolutely beautiful. Our service was outstanding and we will definitely be coming back for all of our special occasions
Absolutely incredible experience at Geoffrey's Malibu! I went for my birthday! Absolutely beautiful ambiance very relaxing and scenic.
The champagne with berries was perfect.
I'm vegan and the server was very accommodating.
I had the kale salad and a side of fresh vegetables.
I highly recommend Geoffrey's!
I definitely will be back
My partner and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the young ladies at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile. They were able to accommodate us based on my request. Chance was our server. He gave us great recommendations throughout our meal. His service was the best.
Great place and great food. Was great to eat near the beach
Hans was over the top good, he made our special night the best it could be. Your staff seated us on the edge of the patio as I has hoped for and requested. Super pleased about that, the food was outstanding and the whole night was great.
The view was fabulous. The food was fantastic. Our server was terrific, except that she often interrupted our conversation. The manager's child was running around, making noise, probably due to a childcare problem that day. But overall, everything about Geoffrey's was wonderful.
The first server was rushing and aggressive, his shift ended before we were done and he left with out checking in. Initially when we sat down my fiancé asked if we can place an order for starters first then our entree ? The server said no the entire order must be placed in at once... didn’t seem to be the case for the table that was seated after us with another server. Great restaurant... great food... I would expect great service.
We came for the expansive ocean view, which is lovely (although it's only second line: Malibu beach homes obtrude a bit into the view). Comfortable seating and stylish ambience. Service was also excellent. But the food, oh dear. One guest pronounced it the worst Benedict she had ever had - and it was cold! Stodgy tepid potatoes that no one ate. Ingredients thrown together with no blending. Small portions. We all left hungry. And of course, it's quite expensive. One visit is enough.
We had a great view, great weather and great service. The food, however, was a bit uneven this time - particularly for the prices charged. One friend ordered the crab eggs benedict and the eggs were really undercooked. The bloody Mary’s were a bit under seasoned and we ended up ordering Worcester sauce to enhance the flavor. Soups were great as was the salmon entree. Quiche and crab cake appetizers were fine . Otherwise great Sunday brunch experience.
Service was great, Tim was very sweet and considerate during our time their. Will come again
Service was not trained professionals, they tried their best but were not given the skills to succeed. Food was bottom average. Nice location. Such a shame.
Food was good and not great. Slow, but friendly service. We came for the view though.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch with great key lime martinis. Beautiful atmosphere as well.
Great view of Malibu and wonderful service but food was just okay.
New Year - always excellent. Great food. Great view.
Absolutely amazing! The view, service, and food. Can’t wait to come back again!
The steak we ordered was good but the sides we received were not good at all.
View was astonishing. I felt like I was in Greek.
Service and food was also great, you also can go down to the shore.
Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Our waiter was exceptionally attentive and had great conversation.
Geoffrey's is a beautiful dining experience in Malibu and a "must do" if you are in town. Incredibly beautiful location and the sunset dining experience can't be missed! Elegant yet casual ambiance with accommodating and friendly staff. Food was excellent and our server was very knowledgeable. Thank you Geoffrey's for such a wonderful dining experience!
We went with our 8 year old son to watch the sunset and it was a great experience with amazing ambiance. The waiter even showed us the moon and Venus.
Loved it. Came for drinks and decided to get a soup while my dawgs watched the sunset. Table 22 is the table of the year 🥳
Hard to beat the scenic view and delicious food. Service was great too. We brought our dog who thankfully was well behaved. Despite cool temperatures sitting in the sun kept us comfortably warm. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky so view was spectacular. A truly unique dining experience in Southern California.
Love the place and service
Beautiful sunset, wonderful food, great service!
Doors were open it was raining
Table was right in middle of floor...food wasn’t greAt definitely not fine dining
The setting at Geoffrey's is beautiful and why we went for our Christmas Day dinner. The prix set menu was a nice selection. I had the salad, scallops and champagne and my daughter choose the soup, lamb and chocolate dessert. It was all very nice. The service was not that attentive considering the price point; however, our server was extremely nice just very busy. All and all it was a very pleasant way to spend our Christmas.
