The place is incredibly overrated and outrageously pricey for mediocre food and ambiance. Will definitely be a one-timer for me.

Had an amazing experience at Geoffrey's celebrating an anniversary! Was skeptical considering some of the mixed reviews but if you're looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion this is the spot.

The restaurant had very romantic settings but very casual. The fish dishes and the Jidorie chicken were very tasty.

If you go thinking it’s an expensive Cheesecake Factory you’ll be fine. If you go thinking is a high end restaurant you’ll be disappointed. From the valets wearing reflective lime green vests , the pager they hand you when you check in , the bar tender who champs on her gum and needs to be flagged down to place your order. The waitress who asked us and other tables to rearrange the table so she can put the food down. I watched the wait staff giving shoulder massages to each other. Just a very unprofessional-staff in general. The busses removed our plates without asking if we were finished. . The menu is the same tired dishes since 2011 or before. This restaurant is all about being by the ocean and has given up on trying to do anything to keep fresh or have any high standard. They should be aware there’s something amiss since there were a few empty tables at prime time on a Saturday night. . Again, an expensive Cheesecake Factory with a pretty location.

Our waiter left much to be desired. Never offered us cocktails, we were rushed through our meal although there were a few open tables. Food was below average and the prices were exorbitant.

The Mussels were superb. Geoffrey’s fell short when it came to the Chilean sea bass. The fish was over cooked and quite dry. They really ruin it. Also, the Chicken salad is nothing special when you consider how much they charge for the entry.

It’s a nice venue but the food quality is not good at all! They have to change their setup for occasions like valentine.

Everything was ok. Whole point of the restaurant in my opinion is sitting by the railing further away so you can see the sunset. Without the sunset it’s a regular overpriced restaurant. Went on Valentine’s Day . And the food was bland. Caesar salad was ok , steak I have had A lot better , overall it was just ok. Won’t be coming back. But thanks anyways

I have not been here in years and it was a bit disappointing. The ambience and the service was great. The ocean views are incredible but my meal was not good. We ordered the sea bass and crab cakes both didn't taste fresh.

The food at Geoffrey's can only be matched by the view. The waitstaff are excellent, and I would highly recommend going during the day for a special occasion.

I’ve been going to Geoffrey’s since they opened way back in the 80’s and it’s always been consistently amazing. Food, service, ambiance....couldn’t be better.

Overall, this is a great resturant in a beautiful setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean and downtown Los Angeles. If you time it right, you can watch the moon rise while you dine. Food was good and wine list extensive. I expected a little more for the price.

Overrated and overpriced. Oysters were not well shucked and had shell in them. I ordered the ahi tuna salad and the ahi was very tough.

I’ve dined here many times over the last 25 years and it has progressively become more expensive for less quality.

It had been years since my last visit to Geoffrey’s. Unfortunately, I’m afraid I’ll wait to return again too soon. The front of House was very accommodating and showed us to a lovely table. The two of us ordered two appetizers to be coursed separately then each an entree. The two appetizers arrived at a glacial pace - to the extent we had to ask a runner when the second was to arrive (our bubbly but absent server was never to be seen). The two entrees arrived 30 minutes after they cleared the last appetizer. The risotto was hideously over cooked and the chicken dry. We didn’t send it back because we were hungry and afraid how long a re-fire would take, not that our server ever came to inquire about our meal. Here’s a tip: enjoy the great view at a table for drinks and dine elsewhere.

We came to Geoffrey’s for the first time (I’ve been living in La for 20 yrs!) in honor of my parent’s 50 th Wedding anniversary. The food was incredible, the server was friendly and helped with the celebration! It was a very windy night unfortunately and I wasnt aware all the seating is outdoors but we had a beautiful view and just had to be extra careful about holding on to our wine glasses and napkins. Would def recommend for any special occasion (the food is pricey!) and even better if you can catch a sunset!
