We were treated like royalty . The food and wine and ambience was so amazing. Wow
Most amazing location in Los Angeles
Great reception (no attitude)great waiter (Dray (friendly and very professional )great food (plenty)
One of the most pleasant experience in Los Angeles
this is why this place is still in business after 36 years ! Bravo!
We had a fabulous Easter brunch here. The food was outstanding with many pre-selected menu options to satisfy our family. The service was excellent!
Birthday. Food was amazing and the service was excellent
Danny the server was exceptional. Food was great and you can’t beat the location!
If you arrive in an expensive and exotic car your dinner experience starts bad.
Menu is very limited.
Food is just average.
Place and menu needs to be updated.
I took my Husband to Geoffrey's for his B-day brunch and he could not stop talking about Geoffrey's. The service was great and the staff was so welcoming. We had an awesome view. Thanks!
On a weekend getaway and drove from LA to Malibu. Stopped in for an early dinner. Breathtaking views, fabulous fish dishes and decadent deserts! Great wine and fabulous staff. What’s not to love?
I’ve had much better filet mignon especially for that price. Also the atmosphere didn’t seem as upscale as the website presented it as. Was trying to have a conversation but was hard over the noisy table next to me. Granted, that is not the restaurants fault but still was unpleasant.
There’s. O better place to eat and enjoy the Pacific, Malibu specifically than at Geoffrey’s
Service staff wonderful
Just simply the best place to sit, eat and enjoy a gorgeous day in the “BU”
Fantastic food & view!
The sun came out, the mood on a Sunday was great, the service superb, I have frequented this restaurant for at least 30 years, enjoyed celebrating a big birthday and was served sorbet with a candle, lovely, NO singing.
It was an absolutely beautiful day, with a great view, food and drinks.
We had a beautiful late lunch with my 80 and 90 year old aunt and mom and some cousins. Our waiter was very attentive along with 2 other people who served us. All the staff members were very kind and cheery. Loved the atmosphere on the oceon. Everything we ordered was perfect. We all loved muscles, paella, lobster, and cobb salad. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends for a special afternoon lunch. It's bit pricy but good value since the view, food, and service was amazing!
Beautiful ocean view and resort-ambiance. Food is excellent, much improved over several years ago. A very special place.
The views are amazing. The prices are way over priced for the food they are serving. My husband and I ordered 1 drink, 1 glass of wine, a small steak, a seafood rice dish and a salad. It was 170 dollars! I have no issue paying for good food. But, this food was applebees quality at best. We spoke to a manager who did not seem to care for our concerns. He only offered a gift card for our next trip. We will not be back. There are much better places in this area to eat. Save your time and money.
If you're looking for a fabulous view with pricey food options, then Geoffrey's is perfect!
My friend and I ordered the lobster cobb salad, and we both agreed it was just average.
It's been 11 years since we were here and the food is still as delicious and the view still breathtaking.
Stunning Oceanside dining location with beautiful layout, lights and burners. Wonderful setting to watch the sunset and moonrise over dinner... But the food is very poor and highly over priced. We’ve been s few times over the past few years and this was the worst food and highest priced in our experience. I ordered Thai Salmon in coconut sauce with rice cake, it was dry, the sauce had a curry powder flavor and the rice cake tasted like something out of the deep freeze section of a supermarket. Fries that came with steaks were anemic. You are really paying for the location and nothing else. Sorry to say we will no longer bring our friends from out of town here.
Professional staff and exquisite cuisine.
Beautiful setting for a well-paced, relaxing lunch. Service was impeccable and food is fabulous! Will return soon.
Had dinner on Sunday evening. Seated at a terrific, outside table for two at the far edge of the patio, away from all the interior noise, looking at ocean, stars and all the lights of the restaurant. Utterly delightful, on a relatively warm, cloud-free evening. Doesn’t get any better. The tuna tartare was delicious and quite spicy. The paella was very good and seems to be my go-to dish. All in all, a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting.
The best restaurant in Malibu with Ocean view and beach access. The food is average. The service is good but not that special. Romantic and lovely for lunch or early dinner
Birthday brunch our waiter was great.. makes the experience that much special.
It was a wonderful experience! We felt as though we had been on a mini vacation, given the beautiful location, superb food, service and wine list. Our birthday girl was treated to a desert of her choice and acknowledged in a quiet and classy manner. Thank you, Geoffrey’s!
We had a wonderful time and the food was as well as cocktails were delicious.
Wonderful place. We live down the street. Most people come for special occasions but it’s just a beautiful place to meet family for a little Sunday brunch.
It was our first time there and we absolutely loved it, the ambience was amazing w a great vibe,
Beautiful Oceanview, everything was perfect !
We had the mushroom soup , which was out of this world , and their surf and turf- which is whole lobster with the vanilla butter, & filet mignon, over potatoes in a fabulous sauce.
The portions was huge, everything was really perfect can’t complain about a thing! I will definitely be back!
Overall rating excellent!
I found the to be bland and lacking flavor. They had interesting sauces that made a great presentation but the sauces had no flavor.
Amazing brunch! The ahí tuna us probably one of the best we ever had! Just delicious! The drinks were just delicious! Food at this place is just out of this world! We drove 60 miles from OC and it was well worth it! This is our 4th time to this place and every time we come we always have a great time
Great place and view!
The food was over-priced and not very inventive. Other than the location, this place is definitely not a hit.
Atmosphere is lovely. Hostess was lovely. Servers not so much. Table of 4, got 3 main courses, 2 soup appetizers and drinks. Asked to split a plate and was told “the chef will not split plates” had to ask for side plate to split it ourselves. Staff was snobbish (for what reason I am not sure) certainly not the attitude I expect to receive when I’m paying 300 plus dollars for a meal I expect good service
Beautiful setting, responsive and attentive service, wonderful food. Perfect spot to celebrate!
Loved the food and the location. Reasonably easy to get to - curvy narrow highway, must do U-turn to get there.
My friend (Spain) and I (Colorado) desired to dine outside on the terrace for the ocean view - part of why we drove an hour to Malibu in a rental car - and there were other patrons seated on the terrace already. But the manager overrode the hostess and we were told that "because of possible rain" no one else was to be seated on the terrace and we must be seated in doors.
An hour and a half later, no rain, and the other patrons on the terrace were still seated. It did not set well with us, and we probably will not be back.
Your manager needs to understand then when people are traveling from out of state, Colorado (no Ocean) and Spain (first time to US) that seating on a terrace over looking the ocean is our priority - much more than the quality of the food or even the service. To deny us that was simply a power trip. Get a new manager.
Unbeatable ambiance and great, friendly service. The food presentation is top class but the as far taste goes, it depends on your luck - sometimes it is awesome but at other times it's a bit below par.
The main course was great but the dessert need a little work
An amazing view yes, this place has a great set up, wonderful lighting and great decor. The appetizers were pretty well made but our swordfish and duck were over cooked. The wine list was limited to say the least and when choosing our waiter continued to recommed the same wine (while mispronouncing it) for EVERY dish. The waiter did not introduce himself, he in fact would come rushing by as if the place was bustling and as a table full of servers we could see he was in fact not. There was a lack of warmth and hospitality from the bar and servers. The bartender on her second week argued about what a martini ‘could be’ (doesn’t have to have vermouth she said) and then attempted to make a gin martini with sweet vermouth confused why it came out orange. The level of professionalism I would expect in a upscale setting was non existent, a back waiter went to pick up a plate with a few bites left, when we said we were still working he said he would wait and stood there watching until we were done. It felt like the only person who came by with proper restaurant etiquette was a older back waiter in his 70’s who asked another table to ‘please wait’ as he was in the middle of trying to plate us. To pay for just a view in a land full of culinary expertise was very upsetting and a choice we won’t make again.
My boyfriend and I were in town for vacation and it was our first time. We had an amazing time, the food is delicious, the service is incredible. The view is to die for!!! I recommend this for families, couples or just friends. We will def be back when we’re back in Malibu.
