Not worth the time/money. The appetizers tasted like Costco appetizers and the salad was worse than I make at home. I guess you go for the view, but we were there at night so it didn't make a difference.
Fantastic from start to finish. Arrived just over an hour early of reservation and they accommodated us immediately. We wanted a table right on the railing closest to ocean and they gave us the next available. Service was always on point, including bringing over a gas heater to table once temperature dropped around sunset. Food (salmon and swordfish) were phenomenal and topped off well with creme brûlée. Worth the price with all around experience.
Wife’s birthday but food was just average and wine by the glass was lacking.
It is worth the trip. The food is outstanding and the scene is fabulous.
Geoffrey’s never disappoints. I have been coming for many years. The service impeccable. The food is always well prepared. The views are gorgeous.
We had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was amaazzzzing. We were in the area for an event so we made reservations at Geoffrey’s, but I will most definitely come back (From San Diego) just to enjoy a meal.
Geoffrey’s never disappoints. Great atmosphere and view, delicious food and cocktails, and impeccable service. This is one of my favorites for a special occasion or just because.
Noisy, beautiful views, food just ok. Tuna appetizer was good as was the octopus salad. The entrees were just fair.
Great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the sun setting over the ocean and great people watching, but the main dishes didn't live up to our expectations (the appetizer was delicious though). Decent wine list with some good deals. Perfect if you're trying to impress someone.
Had a great evening with a cozy table with great service, wonderful food, and enjoyable ambience. A perfect evening to enjoy with company.
Wonderful experience with a beautiful view
2 of us had Filets. These weren’t Filets, they were more top sirloin. Very tough and chewy. We aren’t the type to send things back. Service was excellent, very attentive! I’m giving it an extra star for the service.
Great location and good food but you pay for it
Arrived on time for our reservation. Once greeted we were advised that our table was not ready due to guests that were lingering at our table. We moved to the bar and observed an empty 2 top. We patiently waited 10 mins. After inquiring as to the status of our table, we were told that it would be ready once the patrons vacated the table. Another 10 mins. We noticed 4 more vacated tables in adjacent bar area... We were finally notified that our table was ready... and how amazing, we were seated at the empty 2 top that we had notice 20 mins prior.
Food was mediocre but the service was exceptional. Not worth the view.
Service was impeccable. Great food selection and the view of the ocean is breath taking
We've received an amazing customer service from all the staff members! They all were very nice and professional, and were able to give us a great experience at the restaurant. We all really liked the food. Surprisingly the food has arrived within 10-15 minutes which was the best part becayse other restaurants take forever to serve the food. We all enjoyed the nice view and the private beach. Overall it was an amazing experience, and we all will make sure to come back for our next event or get-together party!!! Thank You!
You are definitely choosing the location for the setting which is spectacular. However, the brunch itself was not particularly memorable for the price.
The black cod is over-powered flavor—please turn it down a few notches. Scallops delicious as usual but the foie risotto is too heavy. A lighter hand in the kitchen would be better. Ambiance always nice. Wait staff good.
Great staff and service. Unbelievable views. Great food. One of the gems in Malibu
Second time here and won’t be the last! Cannot best the view and Lobster salad!
We found the staff from the valet to the busboys to be very pleasant. We found the food and drinks to be appropriately priced. We have a very nice dinner with a wonderful view. As a lifelong Angeleno, the restaurant and views reminded me how special Southern California is.
Love this place! Amazing menu! Outside- ocean view! All was perfect! Will be back again again and again!
View and food and service were all amazing. We had coconut shrimp and scallops and fish of the day. We would recommend all. I’m only sad I didn’t make room for dessert!
Everything was amazing! Parking was a little crazy even with using valet, but it’s to be expected being right on the PCH. I highly recommend the espresso martini - it was SO good!
Fantastic place with a beautiful view...kind of strange server but no big deal I know that line of work can be irritating. Good place overall and a must eat one at that.
Overrated. Unless you get a prime table near the ocean you could be in any 2 or 3 star restaurant. The service was overly prompt, even hurried and felt like a factory operation, like the cheese cake factory. The food presentation was good but over cooked, dry and did not fulfill expectations. The servers were extremely polite and prompt and informed, but that does not make up for the undervalued food being served. Saturday evening is probably a bad choice but a good restaurant should maintain it standards. Not the best that Malibu can offer.
I recently moved from Hancock Park to Malibu and can tell you the restaurant would not survive long on Beverley Boulevard with the offered value proposition.
I always enjoy Geoffrey’s. However the last few times I have left with the feeling that the experience does not warrant the exorbitant prices.
Came here for a birthday. Restaurant was great. Plan on coming back.
Great experience, drinks are on a bit of the strong side
Food wasn’t hot, waiter disappeared and water taste like sea water. Also, the price isn’t worth it.
What a beautiful spot to celebrate any occasion. Delicious food, ocean view, and you can actually hear your conversations.
The quality of the food was superb.
The service from Abraham was top notch
Lovely seaside setting
Geoffrey's has a gorgeous view. You can be relaxing and enjoying the cocktail with the delicious food!
service was poor. food wasn’t great. only plus was the view.
Overpriced. Our waiter never even gave us his name and we waited forever to get served. I get it, we are not the typical Ferrari driving folks but don’t undercut us because we don’t show wealth, you never know. The ambiance is absolutely breathtaking, the food was decent. There are places in Calabasas that are way better and half the price.
Going away party
On our honeymoon:)
As usually the device was excellent, but I was a bit disappointed with the Sea Bass this time. Otherwise, my table request was met and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon .
We always enjoy dining at Geoffrey’s! It has become our “go to” place for special occasions in particular because the setting is incomparable, the food is always very tasty and well prepared, the service is impeccable; an unbeatable combination! We love to relax and enjoy our meal and the overall dining experience, especially when celebrating a special occasion and Geoffrey’s provides the environment to do just that. As far as we are concerned Geoffrey’s cannot be beat as “the” place to go for oceanside dining!!!
