Brunch was wonderful. Very nice set up. Great for an intimate gathering or group gathering. Great experience and great service. The food was amazing as well. Will return.

Overpriced for what it offers. Food is variable some dishes very good others quite mediocre. Too much chopped kale as a side. For about $32.00 a main dish one expects more. Desserts are lacklustre. Bread is from Grand Daisy and vg. Wine by the glass good quality but modest pour.

The food and service were truly stellar. But, the place was severely lacking in any kind of good feel to it. The walls looked scraped and there were empty hooks everywhere. The lighting was in your eyes and was a bad temperature. I could go on... It would seem any amount of money they were able to budget could really help the place - even just a paint job! All this makes us undecided as to whether we will go back or not.

While the scallops were a tad salty, everything else was magnificent: the tagliatelle, the salmon, the rack of lamb... fantastic! And the Sicilian wine, Nero d’Avola, superb.

The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. The waiter was curt and unfriendly. He tried to memorize our orders, but got it wrong. The table beside us got impatient waiting for him to take their order and just left. We came to realize that there was only one waiter, but he never acknowledged that he was covering all 5 occupied tables. Weirder still, it turns out he was the owner - but he didn’t try to explain the situation or move any faster than his earlier slow pace. Weird night.

This is a an unpretentious restaurant with friendly service. Some dishes were not memorable, but a couple were outstanding. All in all an enjoyable dinner.

True farm to table quality. On a Monday evening at 7:30 we were given our choice of tables. Server was attentive, poised, and personable. Not wanting to mull over our preferences, we asked her to surprise us with 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. She embraced the unusual order and brought a variety. The pork belly was so good that we said "we'll take another." Portions were perfect, full but not stuffed and didn't have take-homes. Friends visiting from Italy, and very health conscious, were impressed. ~$30 for an entree, and we were given a dessert on the house. If I lived closer I'd go back for other occasions.

This small gem in Brooklyn is the best food I have had in NYC. It is small and elegant. The food is amazing. Frois Gras on streaks, delicious. This was a last minute decision after a long day of moving, pleasant surprise, and we will be back, next time we are in Brooklyn. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed brunch very much. If you love hanger steak they have a version for <$20 that is just delish. Worth it just to eat that.

Went for Mother’s Day brunch and had a wonderful meal. The apple fritters are heavenly! So light and fluffy! The eggs Benedict regular and with salmon were also spectacular!

Everything was going on point. Greetings, service and attention of the house staff was relaxed and extremely pleasant. Food choices on the menu all have an unusual zing you will not find a boring dish there. Food was delicious and all the flavors played very well with each other. Do recommend and will come back.

The food is very good. Eggs Benedict and Croque Madame were very good. Apple Fritters were delicious. Drinks were disappointing. There were only 2 employees out front serving tables and the bar they day we went. The Mimosa was very light on the sparkling wine and too heavy on the OJ; Bloody Mary was watery and bland. Water service was inconsistent.

This is our second wonderful meal in 3 weeks. The space is still very quiet and likely unknown to the neighborhood. I sincerely hope they are discovered soon because the food is SPECTACULAR. I've had the steak, the duck, the foie gras, the boar, the bison, the rabbit, the gazpacho, the rack of lamb, the strawberry parfait and the FOIE GRAS DESSERT! It's all worth the trip to Fort Greene if you aren't from the neighborhood and if you are from the neighborhood or nearby then you have to give them a try!

Great neighborhood find. They are meat centered but have a few vegetarian options. Wine only but choices were nice. The apple fritters were little pillows of yum!

The restaurant was relatively small, cozy, and not too busy, which made it quite easy to talk and be heard. All of the main dishes, except one, were meat-centric.....and some not so common meat dishes as well. One of us tried the pork filet mignon and one of us got the salmon main dish. Both were beautifully presented and quite tasty. I wished there was more of a selection of salads and vegetables. The wine list was short, but there were several fine selections, all moderately priced. All in all, it was a very pleasant dining experience.

The food was good and the staff friendly but the overall bill ended up being very expensive. The main issue was the noise level which was over the top we could barely hear each other - on a Sunday for brunch, that's a bit annoying.

A hidden gem. While the setting is unremarkable, the food and service are first rate. Our hostess and waitress were informative and attentive(and fun!). The food was fabulous from the bread to the delicious steak. The cauliflower appetizer was the best! I’d definitely come back.

This was our first time and we are checking our calendar to figure out the next time we can go back. We got the appetizers of Foie Gras and Pork Belly. Entrees of Filet Mignon topped with Foie Gras (just as big as the appetizer) and a rack of Lamb. Ended with the strawberry parfait. Got cocktails and a glass of Sauternes with the foies gras. I NEED to go back for the Rabbit Cassoulet, the Bison Tartare and so many other things our server suggested not to mention I need to try the FOIE GRAS DESSERT!

Everything here is thought out and prepared to perfection. The rabbit cassoulet, the pork belly, the country pâté were all outstanding with fresh, exciting flavors. The crime brûlée was better than most. And I was happy to choose the Morgan Beaujolais to go with the meaty dining. The staff are terrific.

Tried 6 different dishes here and each of them was ahmazinggggg...
Roasted cauliflower is a must. Also tried mushroom fondue, beef tongue, wild boar chops, seared foie gras, and bison tartare. Every single dish was worthy of a reorder. Wish I had room for dessert afterwards! Also, the service was exceptional. We were celebrating our anniversary and the waiter treated us to yummy dessert wine.
