The ambiance is great, and the menu and service are good, but my girlfriend ran into a strange problem with her food: her pasta dish was full of shell fragments. She ordered the pasta dish off of the specials menu, knowing that it came with shellfish (mussels, I believe). When the server brought our meals, my girlfriend was surprised to see that the shellfish were still in their shells, and the shells had been handled roughly and bits and pieces had broken off into the surrounding pasta. The result was that she was pulling little shell pieces out of her pasta and her mouth with every bite. We told the waitress, who told the chef, but that was the last we heard of it. We didn't press the issue, but a visit from the chef or manager would have been a good gesture. They have a vegan menu, which is great if you or a dining companion is vegetarian/vegan.
