Love this spot. Not only do they have the best sushi in town but the service is 5 star plus! It’s located in a strip mall and it’s small so without a reservation you could have a wait but it’s 100% worth it. We have been here many times and it never disappoints. Everything on the menu is amazing. Always ask if they have the coconut cake, which the owner occasionally makes from scratch. It is something else, if you’re lucky enough to get a piece. Highly recommend!

Arguably the best sushi in Wilmington. Small place but with a nice environment. It’s not a place where you will sit and dine for 90 plus minutes. Friendly efficient staff and top notch food. Their selection of nigiri is more expansive than other places. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

Genki Is our go to sushi place for authentic fresh sushi in Wilmington. they do the traditional Japanese warm towels before the meal, and their miso marinated whitefish is out of this world. I recommend trying the geisha roll, fire in the hole roll, and Matt's roll. they also make their own candies. They hand out with the check delicious.

Sashimi was excellent. The one request (no imitation crab) was not communicated by server to sushi chef. Service was minimal to non existent. Dishes not cleared before or after next dish was served. Server spent most of our time in the restaurant talking to the couple seated next to us at the sushi bar. We were given the bill and rushed to vacate the restaurant before we had finished our beverages.

As frequent dinners, we knew we were going to have great tasting food. However, the last few times we’ve dined, the sizes of the sushi rolls are ridiculously small, especially for the price. The size portions of their rolls & salads used to be average. Their prices are outrageous as well. For example, we ordered a California roll ($7.50) & wanted to sub the crab for octopus. The up charge was an additional $7. We received 6 pieces, for $15 & they were no bigger than the girth of a hotdog. Service is great as usual. Sushi is extremely fresh tasting. But, due to their ridiculous prices now & small portion sizes (like the rest of America right now), we won’t be returning any time soon. Very disappointed! We love sushi, but it’s unfortunate you have to pay your soul to get some of the best sushi in town. We still left hungry after spending $164 on three people.

I've eaten sushi all over the world, including in Japan and this is some of the best I have had. All of the fish is fresh and full of flavor. Had various Nigiri, Maki, and Sushimi rolls. Recommend especially the Lotus, Red Dragon, and Naruto Tuna. This is a most eat at place for sure when you want the good stuff!

This review would be different if two members of our party weren’t gluten free. The fish was very fresh and the rolls balanced and tasty. For gluten free guests a suggestion would be to find ways to enjoy the dish with a modification rather than just a removal of all sauces. Nice selection of sake and excellent mojitos. The egg drop soup was very good. Service was a little scattered despite the small number of tables. Will definitely be back to try again however.

We were so glad we snagged a reservation! The place was popping! The sushi and sashimi dinner combo was +10/10! The fish was so fresh! It just melted in your mouth! The octopus was mildly tough but delicious! The star of the show was the yellow tail (chef’s kiss) nigiri! Would order over and over again! Cannot wait to go back!
