Would definitely NOT recommend. Was my first time there and though memorable it was for what went wrong or was bad rather than what was right. Not only that you have to pay a valet to park your car when the restaurant was basically empty. Poor idea and yet another reason I would not go back. Our waiter was terrible and even lied about our order being right when it was not and then he overcharged us. Have called twice to try to remedy and have yet to receive a call back. DON'T BOTHER. There are plenty of good sushi places around.

They were out of ginger salads, Sapporo beer and a few other items on the menu. The waitress charged my tab on to my friend's credit card in addition to her own tab and charged my card nothing. She then told us she refunded my friend's card, but when we checked her bank statement a few days later, the charge was still there. She called the restaurant back to get it corrected. We had a very poor experience overall at this restaurant and I wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone.

On the plus side - great sushi -- really well-made, well-presented. The atmosphere is a little beat-up and not really all that romantic, but it has a unique and neighborhood-type feel about it. Service was fine, not outstanding. All in all, a solid, middle-of-the-road place.

Rolls were very good. Tuna poke left alot to be desired not an authentic Hawaiian recipe but even so didn't taste great for whatever it was supposed to be. Kirin beer was luke warm which was unacceptable. Waitress just suggested a cold glass which wasn't that cold only helped the beer for a few sips waitress never came back to ask if beer was better now
