My husband and I was recommended to try the Chophouse. Great recommendation! We truly enjoyed our experience and anniversary dinner. The service and food was excellent!
Enjoyed the Sunday brunch! I felt it was worth the drive and money well spent.
Fabulous as always
Enjoyed dinner the Chophouse for our anniversary. The service was good and the restaurant was very accommodating to a gluten allergy. The chicken confit was excellent.
We had a fabulous meal last Saturday evening. From cocktail thru dessert our selections were wonderful. Beef tenderloin, oscar style melted in your mouth. Wagzu flat iron steak with lobster mac n cheese side was perfect. Carrot cake for dessert...moist and flavorful. We'll be back!
Superb service in a nice quiet atmosphere. Very enjoyable experience. We will be back.
The steaks were fantastic. I had the 14 oz. rib eye, and my wife had the wagyu beef rib eye. We also enjoyed a bottle of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon from their excellent wine list.
Service was a bit slow, but my server was really polite and excellent. The food was also delicious (ordered the wedge salad, wagyu flat iron, and loaded baked potato).
Our waiter Tod was the greatest. He was friendly, witty and overall an excellent server.
Being in the business this one of my favorite places to dine ,very underrated , from the time you walk in to the time you leave, , service is impeccable , Angela is one of the bested team members if not the best server I have ever had ,I would call her a partner in the business ,her "Zeal" for her job makes it a pleasure for me to dine here . I just wish I can dine here more frequently . The Seafood Sampler 5 stars and the chopped salad is a chopped salad . The entees did not dissapoint , from the prime steak to the Chicken Con Fit with the Sunny -Side Egg in a lite Sherry wine reduction made my day , the Chef should be rewarded ,matter a fact I just booked my wedding there . Love the Grand Genva and the Marcus Group , Chef Vince Pecora
Way over priced. For what we paid I expected a whole more.
Outstanding service, excellent steaks, and beautiful views. When the weather permits, sit outside.
Our service was impeccable! The view of the fountain and the golf course was great! My boyfriend ordered the Jambalaya which was great but an appetizer portion. I ordered the scallops which I thought was going to be served in a broth (due to the description on the menu) but it arrived on a bed of hard, crunchy, black rice. I recently had dental surgery and was unable to eat the rice. My server brought me some mashed potatoes that were Meh! For 32.00 for my scallops I was expecting much more than I received ( I received 3 scallops! Yes, I said 3 scallops and a tablespoon of rice under them). I understand ala carte dining but the portion sizes were more appetizer size than dinner size. My server was wonderful and understanding. I visit Lake Geneva twice a year. I will not be eating here again. My hard earned money will go to another restaurant in the area that serves larger portions and has the same quality. Portion size does matter!
We enjoyed the Champagne brunch with a great waterfront view. Great experience!
The entire staff was so attentive and courteous. Ali was also on with regards too our needs with a 12 month old!!
only complaint was on steak temp was done more than I prefer
They say they bring their steaks in from Chicago, but I live there and we eat better meat than this! My husband’s ribeye was about 30% fat/inedible. This is not the quality of meat I would expect at this place or price. My scallops were cooked properly but the rice that came with them was terrible. Service felt rushed though the waitress knew it was our anniversary. Overall, disappointing. We heard others had similar experiences at the Italian restaurant at the hotel. We will be back to the Geneva Grand but not to the restaurants.
Wonderful staff and delicious food! Would recommend to others
Excellent menu correct portions and a reasonable cost. Make reservations request outdoor patio if weather permits.
We had a special occasion to celebrate and you made it beyond special. The staff was so warm and inviting. The view from our table was beautiful. They were accommodating and generous at every turn. We had a delicious and wonderful dinner experience. Can’t wait to go back.
I have always had great service and delicious food here!
Great Special Occasion Restaurant! We come here once/year for our anniversary and each time the service is wonderful and the food is delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, from the bussers to the waiter, to the hostess/host. I highly recommend trying Geneva Chophouse. And, just as a side note...try their Sunday brunch too! It is not to be missed!
What great service! Food was wonderful! Melissa was our server what a gem! Only wish that the sides came in half size portions for half the price.
Neighbors haven’t been to Chop House in 20 years. They were thrilled and we were happy as always.
We had an amazing experience!! We were celebrating our 10 year Anniversary and we could not have been any happier with our experience. We were greeted with a rose and seated at a table over looking the beautiful lake and golf course. We felt like we were on top of the world! Our meals were the best we have ever had and would drive back to do it all over again! Our server, Angela, made us feel very special, she anticipated our questions and had answers before we could even ask them. We were blessed to have the perfect server, because of her our experience was 100%! We cannot thank her enough for making our experience unforgettable! THANK YOU!!!!

Consistently excellent. Ask for Darlene...she is great!
Had wonderful wait staff! The food was amazing. Disappointed they ran out of baked potatoes - kind of weird. Otherwise, exceptional!
Our dinner was wonderful. We were there for my husbands b-day. The staff waited on us with professionalism and were all very courteous. We had a window table and the view was beautiful!!
I should have known better than to order paella in a steak house but I did and so did my guest. Stick with the steaks because they are great here and so is the weekend prime rib. Joel and Andrew were fantastic servers and the cocktails were as good as any. However, the paella was not a true one: rice was wrong, serving dish was far too small, they was no hint of saffron, and the sea foods were poor. It sounded so good on the menu. Like the professionals that they are, they were kind enough to comp. one of our dishes and offer a complimentary dessert. Stick with the steaks as you'll never go wrong.
Food was ok. Definitely has changed since Grand Geneva changed hands. Nothing special any longer. The only thing that stayed the same are the prices.
Very disappointed and unbelievable that the bar would not serve Korbel brandy. This is Wisconsin--the biggest brandy consuming state in the nation. We did not order additional drinks because of this. The cheaper E&G brandy was a poor substitute. Food was delicious.
Amazing! A great time, geat service and great food.
Sunday brunch was fantastic. The best buffet I’ve ever seen and excellent service.
My favorite restaurant by far. Tamara was our server at brunch and she's amazing.
We had a wonderful date night out here. Food was great, atmosphere was pleasing and staff was extremely attentive and polite.
I had such a wonderful experience at the Geneva Chophouse! Not only was our server attentive to our needs he was prompt and very friendly and inviting as well! We got seated immediately and our server was attentive to answer any questions we had about any of the dishes available on the menu. After ordering our appetizer for the meal (which were the scallops) everyone was happy with the quality and flavor! I ordered the Lamb Shank and I can say without a doubt it's the BEST lamb I've ever had in my LIFE. We carried on good conversation as the evening went on and overall had a wonderful experience. I ordered no alcohol and my bill came to around $60 which I thought was fair for the quality and flavor of the food we consumed. Overall, it is a pricier restaurant, but nobody goes to a Chophouse and only expects to spend $10, so if you go into this restaurant with that mindset, it's well worth the money you will end up spending. I absolutely loved the ambiance and would recommend this wonderful establishment for anyone looking to go on an amazing date night or special occasion.
Very nice and romantic more than what I expected
Sunday brunch was nice, but $34.95 nice? That's debatable. Mimosas are included, so that was a plus. But some food items were not fresh (French toast and bread pudding in particular were dried out).
