Our waitress did not engage in any conversation! Just a quick order, passed by quickly dropping off our food, never checked to see how our meals were. Literally dropped off our check in passing and came back in a rush to grab our payment and swiftly took off! The worst service at such a high end restaurant we have ever experienced! The Tomahawk we ordered had a lot of fat! Had our waitress stopped by to see how our very expensive meal was, we would have mentioned that to her! Our first visit to the Geneva Chophouse. Obnoxiously loud, rude people filled the restaurant; I think this reflects the typical patron of this establishment. Also makes sense with multiple men wearing baseball hats while dinning. First two bottles ($160 each) we tried to order were sold out- perhaps management should update the wine list. The wine was not stored in the proper temperature range- wine was warm. Our server, who had the “sniffles” (very sure she was working with a cold) had zero knowledge about wine presentation and proper procedures to open and decant a bottle of wine. Our server’s general demeanor was not professional. We waited 45 between finishing appetizers and receiving our main course. No apology from our server. The Brussel sprouts were burnt and inedible. The marbled potatoes were not enjoyable. Our steaks were very good and cooked properly medium rare and the fish was served properly. We will not dine here again and certainly will not recommend this restaurant to our friends.

It was my anniversary with my boyfriend and they made it super special. Everyone congratulated us and our server was the best server we had the whole trip (we also visited chicago a couple of days before). The only thing i would mention is that even though it was a pricey restaurant there were some kids running around when we got there (most likely families staying at the hotel having dinner after skiing) but it made it feel less fancy. Still a great experience would definitely recommend.

Well done Chophouse!! I got a rose when I arrived for our Valentine dinner. We were also given 2 glasses of champagne before we were even seated!! The staff was amazing and the food was even better. Serving size was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful Valentine Dinner!

This was my first experience at Geneva Chophouse. I was beyond pleased with the experience all around. It far exceeded my expectations. The staff was very knowledgeable and the food was prepared beautifully! I would recommend this place to everyone if you could. The price is definitely worth every penny in my opinion.

Being Valentines Day the kitchen got really backed up which caused slow service. Our waitress was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. When we first came in all the women got a single rose and we had complementary glass of champagne.Food was good and would go back again.

My girlfriend and I had the most wonderful experience at Chophouse on Wednesday night! Our server, Melissa, was knowledgeable across the board with not only their menu but also finding the perfect wine to pair with our meal. 5 out of 5 stars and will highly recommend!

My husband and I love getting away to the Grand Geneva Resort. While we are staying here we always get at least one dinner at one of their restaurants. We are never disappointed!! This trip we ate at the Chop house. They had these warm rolls which my husband loved and some GF crackers for me that were thin, crisp and delicious with their assorted butters and dips. I had the sea bass which was cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and a moist buttery inside. The sauce was amazing. My husband had the lamb which was tender, and cooked perfectly. We shared the Brussels and the root veggies which were so delicious. The meal was amazing. A little on the pricy side but not terrible for what we got.

Our experience at the bar was unpleasant. Arriving just as the bar opened, music was already playing. It was very loud with a strong, driving bass beat (boom, boom, boom). The stools have no backs, and after awhile were quite uncomfortable. In the restaurant, the server at our table was wonderful. The food was good, but some of it was overcooked. As this was an anniversary celebration and we were looking forward to a special evening (we have spent many anniversaries there in the past), we will not be back.

Waited 30 min for our table, even with a reservation. Noted Anniversary celebration on the reservation, yet we were seated at the noisiest, busiest table in the restaurant, right along the lobby windows. Horrible atmosphere! Waited 45 min for our Seafood Tower appetizer. Lobster on the Seafood Tower tasted like it came from a can and blended with mayonnaise. Mussels on the Seafood Tower were drenched in hot sauce and inedible. Had to wait another 45 min for entrees, AFTER we were done with appetizer. Took almost 3 hours for dinner!
