Of course, theres more to the story. Stellar seafood, chops and top-notch cocktails round out the menu, along with shareable sides and delectable desserts. It all comes together with the best Lake Geneva food in an upscale steak house atmosphere.

I really enjoyed this place on my birthday weekend. The service, food and server was great. I order the lamb chops and my fiancé order the chicken. We shared the sides of Mac and cheese and cream spinach . The Mac and cheese not so good we ask to replace it with cream corn. Our servers was on point with provided excellent service.
We have been here several times over the last few years. The food has been outstanding, the service great and we just love the atmosphere. Highly recommended for an occasional nice evening out for a really enjoyable dinner experience.
Had reservations but felt like a table was put together last minute. We were seated in upper section with walk-in that had just arrived. Server didn’t go over any specials that I overheard other servers mentioning after we had ordered. The food we ate was very good. I had the Delmonico rib-eye, which was excellent, and my wife’s scallops were delicious, as well.
Food was average - everything else was great service was excellent
Our last 2 dinners at the Chop House have been terrific. The only thing I would change, I find it weird that a Steak House would not have Onion Rings on the menu.
Excellent brunch food and service we're awesome ....leave room for the pastries they are delicious :)
We came here for the Sunday Brunch Buffet. Should have gone to Golden Corral. Made to order omelettes were very small. I do not even know how that can be. Prime Rib sandwich was just OK. French toast was pretty bad. Eggs Benedict with hash browns instead of english muffins?? Very curious. Plus you could not get the thing out of the cast iron skillet. Very bad. Biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted like sawdust. The most curious thing though, was the lox and bagels. Could they have gotten bagels that were smaller?? I do no think so. Had all the usual sides for lox and bagels, but they ran out of cream cheese and never refilled, even though we asked 3 different times. Service was okay and friendly. My advice...steer clear of this mish mash.
Food was very good. Lots of variety, but a little pricey, especially if you are not a big eater. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive.
Fabulous food and service , with a view that cannot be beat. Highly recommended for that special evening.
Excellent noise level for gentle conversation. Top-quality food and decor. Good variety. Very good special occasion restaurant, massive for hotel scale events but still has intimate feel for simple diner for two.
The drinks were delicious. I had the Wagyu filet and it was perfectly cooked. My husband added scallops to his steak and they were buttery soft. We ordered too many sides as the portions are large. The best part was our server Hugo! He was attentive, funny and knowledgeable. The only down side was that the interior is a little old fashioned. But not enough to distract from our experience.
Many choices, most were okay, some very good. This was a brunch so I guess you shouldn’t expect much service, but we had to keep waving down servers (ours seemed to have disappeared) to get coffee.
Food was excellent. Our steaks were cooked to perfect. The two hosts went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. High price point but worth it.
Candace was an excellent server, she really made our entire experience which may have been just OK without her, really enjoyable. We threw her curveball after curveball and she handled our evening with grace, courtesy and a smile.
The filet mignon was cooked perfectly at medium. The loaded mashed potatoes has outstanding flavor and the roasted brussel sprouts roasted and seasoned well.
LOVE THE SEAFOOD SAMPLER !!!!
Our Server was the best!!! ( if only I could remember his name)
The food here is top notch and the service was great.
We had a great experience!
We had a very nice evening here. We will definitely visit again
Great service, great food, great ambiance
We were disappointed that we had to eat a Valentines menu when it wasn’t Valentines Day. My husband wasn’t a fan of most courses and I’m sure a lot of the cost of wine that was not drank. It would’ve been nice if the website stated that the Valentines menu was the whole weekend.
Everything was excellent
This was our first time visiting the Geneva Chophouse and we were disappointed that it was a set menu for the weekend. While the food was good, it wouldn't have been our first choices. In addition, each course was served with pre-selected wines, so you couldn't even choose your drink for the evening. This was upsetting to my husband who does not like to drink wine. I wish we had known when we booked the reservation that the menu would be pre-selected, as we likely would have eaten somewhere else. However, we didn't know this information until we went to check-in.
Given that it was not a great first experience, I'm hesitant to visit the restaurant again-especially for a $200+meal.
We were seated for our reservation without being told that it was a specialized Valentine’s Day menu (feb 15). As guests of the hotel we feel we should have been told this before being seated. We overhead at least 3 other couples having the same question for their server. We did not care for the majority of the 6 courses and our steaks were not cooked to order. We were looking forward to this meal for weeks so very disappointed.
Meat was overcooked and burnt. For two people they added a large group gratuity, which we would never had paid. Very disappointed.
Very noisy. For what was advertised as a romantic dinner of wine and food pairing, it didn’t reach the mark. Service was erratic. Atmosphere was too noisy and bright. The fact that we had to weave our way around children bouncing basketballs and doing gymnastics though the hotel halls didn’t help. The actual food was good, but the wines were mediocre and no explanation as to why which wines were chosen for which courses. Wouldn’t be a first or second choice to return.
Service was incredible, from the host and hostess greeting, the incredible service and awesome meal! Could not have been better.
As it was valentine's with special menu and rushed food not sure was upto the normal quality. Food was just ok but was definitely below expectations. Server was not up to standard I expected for price. Again wasn't bad just not upto expectations.
Yes it was great I would recommend this place to friends and family
I am very appreciative for the restaurant for accommodating my vegan diet on Valentine’s Day.
Drinks, service and appetizers were great!! Wife's filet was perfect. However, my rib-eye was overcooked. I chose to eat part of the steak. They were very gracious about it and comped my steak. I would wholeheartedly recommend an evening here!!!
We were extremely disappointed in our dining experience at the Chophouse this visit. We ate the the Chophouse last year on vacation in Lake Geneva. It was excellent. The food was very good. There were many food options on the buffet, and everything we tried was good. However, this year we ate here again on vacation thinking it would be the same experience as last year. We were notified by the server that the buffet changed with different food options. We were incredibly disappointed to find hardly anything that looked good or even close to the selection offered last year. There were nontraditional breakfast items (not the traditional breakfast food we were hoping for). The majority of the food we tried wasn't good. The only two good options were the build your own omelets, and the french toast. After the disappointing breakfast buffet, we received our bill that went up in price as well from last year. It was $82 for a underwhelming disappointing breakfast. Such a rip off! The only positive experience from our visit to the Chophouse was the great service we received from the wait staff. We will never return to the Chophouse. An insanely priced breakfast, with limited buffet options, that didn't' even taste good. There are many other restaurants in Lake Geneva to go to instead of having this experience again.
Food was excellent. Salmon and chicken were a little dry. Salad bar is fantastic. I don’t know whatever happened to the spinach. Never any spinach anymore. Everything was beautiful. My server was not very nice. She acted like I was a pain. I asked her a question that she never answered. I gave her an excellent tip anyway.
Love it! Always amazing food!
Tod was helpful, professional & very knowledgeable about the menu. (So fun, too!) He is an incredible asset w/ great supporting staff as well!
Food was excellent with good variety and choices
Service excellent too
Never felt rushed
Very relaxed atmosphere
Much better than last visit. Tried a different salad: beets and it was fantastic. Went to fish: scallops with risotto was outstanding. Halibut came not warm but to full to worry about it. Sides: mushrooms were to die for and creamed spinach came hot and delicious. Back on my "go to" list.
World class food and wait staff..pricey but get what you pay for!
Our kudos to Chef Brian and the entire wait staff! We truly enjoyed our afternoon Sunday Brunch. Brian explained it was the new Chef's intent to take things up a notch...We were very impressed and will most certainly be back! The salad bar and all the fruits were very fresh and tasty. The desserts were simply to die for and the Prime Rib was exquisite! Did I mention we truly enjoyed it?
It was a god experience
