We were surprised when we arrived at the Geneva Chophouse as they had no record of our reservation. Fortunately, they weren’t overly busy and were able to seat us immediately. Our server was very nice. We ordered the Tomahawk steak. It took almost an hour for our meal to be served but the presentation was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly. We were celebrating our 45th. wedding anniversary and the restaurant gifted us a glass of champagne each and a dessert to share.

Ambience was nice, some may think a bit loud but we like a bustling feel. Service was slow and took almost 30 minutes to get our drink order. I had to ask our waiter if he’d forgotten about us. Filet was cooked as ordered, with good flavor albeit a little chewy. Mushrooms were good but the Yukon mashed and creamed corn were disappointing. Mashed was tasteless and dry and the corn was like a can of corn with some butter on it and the Parmesan was apparently left off. For the value it was overpriced. If you want to spend $300 for dinner for 2 this would not be the place I’d recommend. I caveat this review with the fact that we frequent Gipson’s and RPM Steak.

The food was good, especially our date appetizer. The waiter was very engaging and good. Eating on the terrace was very nice as it was a beautiful night. Although we enjoyed ourselves, the meal was very costly and not worth the value. If you want a nice atmosphere and don't want to leave the grounds, give it a try so long as you're not concerned about the cost.

Food was great and service was excellent. Server Brian was knowledgable and Caleb was attentive. Only drawback were the people in bath suits cutting across the porch seating wrapped in towels...definitely brought the ambiance of pork seating down.

Prices have increased dramatically, sides are smaller. It used to be that you could get a high quality steak here for a decent discount compared to Chicago area places like Morton's. This is no longer the case, it is not worth the trip from the Chicago suburbs

We went to celebrate our anniversary. The Oyster Rockefeller was absolutely divine. The filet was tender. The salmon was cooked to perfection with the right amount of crisp on the skin. I would’ve given the restaurant a five star however, the crab mac & cheese was tasty, but there wasn’t any crab in it or at least we couldn’t find it. Good wine, selections, and very expensive for one glass.

Girlfriend ordered the wagyu steak with high expectations and she was not disappointed. I ordered the bone-in ribeye as medium rare. It was very tasty but was over cooked to medium.

Rebecca was amazing! She answered all our questions. Very attentive and sweet. Food was good. Big serving. The only negative was the manager came up to every single table except us. He was checking everyone asking how everything are. And I noticed that he never came to us. The table next to us came a little later than us. Asked how they are but never on our table . I don’t know why but I think that’s rude.

Food is outstanding and service with Joel is the best! Grand Geneva has the best Managers. Jeff N and his team makes sure all guest everyone has a Grand Experience. The rooms are impeccable. If you stay the night add on the Grand Geneva Club and see Bernie. Skip has done a wonderful job and made this resort a gem.

We have dined at The Geneva Chophouse many times. It is always a terrific experience, the service is solid, and the food is very good. In recent years their prices have gotten very high, on par with a top tier Chicago steakhouse. Not sure it’s quite there, but if you're in Lake Geneva, it’s top of the line.

The Delmonico Ribeye was outstanding. Charred on the outside, super tender and just the right amount of fat. The Filet Oscar was the same with a very good sized crab cake and Bernaise. Crab cake had very little breading all on top of fresh grilled asparagus. Overall and delicious meal.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and GC went above and beyond helping make it special. We were given happy wishes by multiple staff and my special dietary needs were very well accommodated (I didn’t feel left out or like I had too few options). The food and the drinks were delicious and worth every penny (the watermelon mule was so refreshing I want to return just for this cocktail).

I was excited to try the sea bass as I saw it pictured online. I was quite disappointed with the small portion I received for $50. And it comes a la carte. It was served on a bed if pureed sun dried tomatoes that overpowered the delicate fish. Brussels weetr delight and so was the apple pie. Darlene my server was outstanding.

Our server was very good, we had a table next to us with unruly kids and the mom did nothing, we had to move. Manager came over to apologize. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. Not the restaurants fault and our server recovered nicely. The food was ok, they forgot an item and it was on the check, when we brought it up it was removed. May go back in the future but never for a special occasion.

Exceptional service. Great bacon wrapped figs appetizer and lobster bisque. Wedge salad was tasty and the fillet was perfectly cooked and delicious. Chilean Sea Bass, a favorite of mine, was overpowered by the sundried tomato and pesto sauce. I should have anticipated that, as the menu clearly described the sauce. Other than the sea bass, a lovely evening.
