Would highly recommend. The food was amazing, service was outstanding and the aura of the place was perfect. Everyone was so inviting as well. Definitely a great dining experience.
Service was extremely slow. Don’t know if that affected the quality of the food, but didnt really enjoy it this time around.
Great service and great food...cannot ask for much more.
Excellent food and service
Been to Gemelli's several times, but this one didn't live up to the others at all. Services was slow and hard to get their attention for anything. The octopus appetizer was so rubbery that I literally could have been chewing on rubber bands. The Chicken Marsala our friend had was a bit tough and a bit dry. A large table came in just after we arrived and was Sooooooooooo loud that all the other tables had to yell to hear each other.
I have never been disappointed eating at Gemelli's. My husband and my family always love going to Gemelli's for a great dinner. Keep up the good work!
Excellent service. Quiet ambience. The specials were amazing. Christmas decor made for a wonderful evening.
Love Gemelli restaurante. Our waiter Giuseppe was great, friendly & professional. My husbands branzino was expertly prepared. However my cut of Filet mignon was not up to usual standards. Disappointed but will return again
Great Food. Great wine. Great service. Really nice people. The place looked very festive!!
First, coat check was not attended. Second, MaitreD was dressed to sweep the cellar. Room was lovely, nicely decorated for Christmas. Caesar Salad was great. Oysters were old and dreadful. Ordered six, ate one. Paid for six. Bronzino good. Fillet Mignon ordered medium rare, served RAW. Steak was poor quality. Did not eat. Asparagus were good. Mashed potatoes were awful. Did not eat. Pasta special was a bowl of inedible mush. Did not eat. Decent Tuscan red at a fair price. Great waiter, Giuseppe. But, he failed to notice that we did NOT eat the food except the Caesar and the Bronzino. We paid for a lot of poor quality, inedible food. Will NEVER return.
It was great !
We went for our 20th Anniversary. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Gave us the table by the fire place we requested. Everyone took great care of us! Love their food! My favorite is the grilled artichokes with the hot antipasto. Perfect place for a special occasion.
Excellent service and staff is very friendly and personable. Food was very good and I would go back again
A night out with friends was a very nice evening. Food was very good and service was top notch. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
We have been customers for years, but Saturday night we sat at the bar for 15 minutes and the bartender ignored us. Other patrons were complaining that they were also being ignored. We went to our table , out of the four dinners ordered two of them were wrong. My husband and his friend ordered fish and they brought out the wrong fish. So we all had to wait a half hour for them to make new meals. We won't be coming back..
My server was outstanding. The rest of the staff however when thy walked by the table never stepped in to help out. The cuisine is phenomenal here. You will never have a bad meal. The fireplace is great when its on, it wasn't that night that's why the 4 stars.
Food is amazing, service is great, wine selection is fantastic. The specials are a must order.
We ordered Grouper for the restaurant week special, very surprised how "small" the dinner plate was, even another dinner guest at the next table made a remark (thought is was the size of an appetizer). Salad was good, nothing special, dessert was very good. Disappointed with our choice of grouper, it was tasty but would not order that again. Not a good value... Service and setting is always great!!!
We went here during Restaurant Week. The meal, the ambiance, everything was first rate. The discounted dinner came to $162 for 2 with cocktails, a modest bottle of wine, tax and tip. It was worth it.
Looking at the regular menu, though, I estimated that a similar meal would cost around $250. It's not that good.
Gemelli's is a definite winner! The service was fantastic and very attentive. The food was amazing! From the appetizers right through to the desert! Will definitely come back!
Service was excellent. Wonderful waiter and buss staff. Food was prepared exactly as ordered and was fantastic. The best lentil soup in NY.
WE had not been to this restaurant in a long time.. We brought friends who had never been before. Our dinner was great and the service was excellent. Will revisit another time.
Great ambiance, relaxing atmosphere, friendly and courteous hosts and servers, engaging bartender, and wonderful menu all make Gemelli's one of my favorite restaurants. All the food is farm fresh, beautifully prepared, and tastes amazing. Nice wine list with fair priced bottles and excellent desserts. Can't wait to go back!
One of the great places to seek out on Long Island for those who don't mind paying a little more for great food, wonderful service, and at a venue neither out in the Hamptons or in the middle of Manhattan.
Great food and service!
We thought the food was good and service was excellent. We were pleased.
Food was excellent. Stuffed zucchini flowers were great. Excellent & friendly service.
Love the interior of this restaurant, so cozy! Food was excellent and so was the service. You could tell everyone in the restaurant was enjoying themselves. First time here for my girlfriends...we'll be sure to be back!
We come here often. The service is great, the food is good and the dining room is warm and cozy.
Excellent dinner for six of us! Definitely plan to go again.
The waiter and staff were very attentive to our needs. The waiter knew the menu very well and make an excellent recommendation for my dinner choice which was delicious. This was my second time there and would most definitely go back for more.
We were at Gemelli's for as rendez-vous with another couple that we only see infrequently. They like excellent food, which we certainly got. We also had very personal and elegant service, a friendly reception, and a lovely quiet atmosphere in which to enjoy catching up. People came and went but we did not feel the place ever got loud, and there was no pressure for us to hurry. Before we knew it, three hours had passed, and we had worked our way through many courses. You can expect to pay a little more, but the quality is really top-notch, while the place is comfortable and relaxed. Great place to enjoy a little pampering!
Food was very good, service as as even better.. Nice setting and quite.
I have been going to Gemelli’s for some time now and the food and service is always 5 star rated. One of my favorite restaurants
The food was delicious! The staff attentive. Overall experience was top notch!!!
This dinner did a lot to restore our opinion of Gemelli's.
The hostess was charming although we were not shown to a desirable table.
Our waiter. Ozzie, was attentive. The wine was fairly priced. The complimentary olives were a bit too spicy. The bread was fair. The baked clam appetizer was dreadful, dry baked, flavorless bread crumbs. . Do not order the clams. The fillet mignon w asparagus and mashed potatoes was excellent. The beef was first quality and cooked to order. The main course could not have been better. $40 was a fair price for such fine beef. $8 was absurd for two tiny scoops of ice cream. We will be back for the wine and the beef💞
Very tasty Buratta. The pasta special with shrimp, mushrooms and sundried tomato was very good but the pasta was a bit pasty.
Once again, had a wonderful meal here. If you're in or near Babylon Village and want a good Italian meal, I suggest giving Gemelli's a try. ☆☆☆☆ across the board.
We have been coming to Gemelli's for about 8 years. We've tried several other restaurants, but always end up coming back to Gemelli's. The food is always fresh and delicious. The wait staff is always friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful food but pricey! Excellent pasta dish with pesto and shrimp although a bit pricey for 25. We asked the waiter the price of the blue point oysters which were a special and he said he would check. He came back and told us $1 each! My husband loves oysters so he ordered a half dozen. When we received the check we were charged $2 each so $12 for 6. We told him and he said he made a mistake is that ok? We said please adjust the bill please. He rushed off and came back clearly throwing the check at me in disgust. He was one of the rudest waiters I have ever encountered in all my dining experiences. Unfortunate ending to a wonderful meal.
