Had the salmon salad and the fish was cooked perfectly, nice and moist! Enjoyed the eclectic decorations, great service (it should be noted me and my friend were the only customers for lunch that day-probably because the weather was awful). Enough choices left on the menu to try to warrant a return visit!

This was our first time at Gaudi Cafe and we weren't disappointed. The food was wonderful, service incredible and value outstanding. We left thinking it is a great place to go when you want to go out, but not for a night on the town. It really is a relaxed atmosphere with great food.

Gaudi isn't the fanciest place around, but it doesn't need to be. The service was good, as was the food. Great place to go if you have folks in your group that want mexican food and others that don't - the burgers are great!

Good service. Spicy shrimp and rib eye on toast was great! Good Sangria.

The one thing that always gets me about tapas places is that they bring the food out randomly and sometimes all at once so there is no room for our sangria pitcher. Well this wasn't the case with Gaudi's. Our server put in our orders as we finished plates so we never had more than 2 plates on our table at any time. Cheers!

I liked Gaudi so much better when it was in the old location.

Pros: We were able to get a table for Sunday brunch easily (Easter) and we were seated promptly. The lunch wrap and the pancakes were pretty good. Chilaquiles were good but they were a little dry and over-baked.

Cons: Ambiance- the restaurant looks really dated, and does not use the space well. They have these tall tables in the window and a couch in the front of the restaurant. This would be better space for tables by the windows. The decor is also very dated, weird fake flowers and these Alice in Wonderland-esque chartreuse oversized lamp shades. Food- Eggs were cold, breakfast potatoes were inedible. We asked the MANAGER who stopped by the table for a side of salsa to go along with the eggs and dishes and she CHARGED US FOR CHIPS AND SALSA. I have never heard of a mexican place refusing to bring salsa with meals! Service- was very, very slow and she would say she would bring us items and then never follow up. The manager was also very rude when she came to our table and had to help us with the items (silverware, syrup for pancakes, etc, that the server did not bring with our food).

I do not know if I will return.
