Gaucho Grill Ratings and Reviews
The food is always delicious. The menu has something for all. The 5 of us started off with chicken empanadas, mussels, and 3 different salads. For entrees we had Chilean sea bass (my favorite there), stuffed flounder and the Argentinan churrasco steak. We all loved what we ate. My friend was given a beautifully decorated plate of dessert for her birthday. Great evening.
We have been there few times when the old owners were there, food is good service was good but I was disappointed with my steak, I ordered the 26oz steak which had a price tag of $52.00 I got to tell you it was more like a 16oz , it also came with 4 small pieces of steak fries and chimichurri sauce on the side so I'm not sure if I will ever order that again.
Been to gaucho grill several times with friends
Very lovely dining room , attentive service food very good to excellent
Had red sangria and skirt steak
Hubby had sea bass , both very good
Arrived early at 6:30 , was not too busy , able
To talk with friend at table , by 7:30 very crowded and difficult to have conversation
A bit pricey but ove very nice night out and will come again
My husband and I invited a couple of our friends for dinner. We all loved what we had. The shrimp appetizer, salad, steaks, seafood palleya were all well made. Although they ran out of Tiramisu we ordered, they offered cheesecake as an alternative. It was good, especially with their coffee. The service was very good. The staffs were well trained. The room was a bit darker. I had trouble reading the receipt, and double tipping. But the wait staff came back to let me know that the tips already included on the receipt. I appreciated his honesty. And the restaurant offers free valet parking, that save us time walking on the street in a freezing night.
To be honest I have been here a few times I’ve never had a bad experience here except for the last time I went which was this past Tuesday which happened to be during their Restaurant week. Big mistake ordering off the restaurant week menu you could tell the quality wasn’t there they used sub par ingredients and flavorless food. If you however ordered off the regular menu everything was fine. Moral of the story, don’t waste your money on the restaurant week menu there, go spend the regular price and get the full experience.
The seafood paella was very bland. It would seem to me that the rice was cooked separately fro seafood. My husband’s sole was delicious. I don’t think the restaurant with the price especially the beverages. I also think that even though restaurant week only offers 3 course meal it would be in the restaurants best interest to thrown in a cup of coffee with dessert.
The valet area needs clear signage, maybe prevent people from parking in front that are not visiting the restaurant and have the attendants be present and visible from the street, as well as being professional to the diners arriving. We were confused when driving up and met with yelling from the attendants as well as witnessing diner after diner leave their car in the street to walk into the restaurant and inquire about the valet service. I did not expect this kind of service, especially in this area. Aside from that, we had a wonderful meal and the staff was pleasant, from the hostess to the servers. The food is exceptional and I love the decor. I'm glad we found this restaurant. I have already begun to spread the word and will be visiting again for after work get-togethers, most definitely.
My friend and I went for restaurant week and I had the Chicken Empanada, the Seafood Paella, and Tiramisu. The empanada and Tiramisù were good, but I was very disappointed with the Seafood Paella. It had no flavor at all and the clams were very chewy and difficult to swallow. I don't think I will be going back.
I have been to their Sunday brunches many times but I was very disappointed the last time I visited the restaurant. The brunch was cold, lack of flavors and defiantly not the gaucho grill I was used to. Either they have a new chef or the quality of the food went down
The food was fabulous! I had the tuna which was perfectly cooked and deliciously rare served with a spicy mango and mixed vegetable salsa. The pork chop was thinly pounded, rolled and stuffed with mushrooms, onions and cheese. Both dishes were both creative and delicious.
The service was both attentive and professional. This restaurant is a gem!
My husband and I went to Gaucho Grill for our 30th anniversary dinner. It was delicious! We shared eggplant rollatini appetizer as a starter. We both ordered filet mignon as an entrée and shared the sautéed spinach. Everything was great and cooked as requested. The waiter service was very friendly and attentive. We had mentioned to the waiter that it was our anniversary and our crepe dessert was served on a decorated plate adorned with Happy Anniversary in chocolate with a "trick" candle! The dessert was "on the house" in honor of our special occasion which was such a nice touch! Everything was wonderful!
The online website needs to be updated but everything else was wonderful! My wife and I went there for our anniversary and it was just what we were hoping for. The food was excellent and prepared exactly as we asked, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and they had excellent music playing nicely in the background. Will definitely not be our last visit.
I loved this restaurant before the pervious owners SOLD IT!! Sp, we thought we would give the new owners a try!! My favorite dish was the stuffed Lobster Tail from the previous owners. They still had it on the menu!! The previous owner made the filling with all FRESH shrimp, scallops and crabmeat. My friend and I ordered it -- it came with heavy bread stuffing on top and the lobster was so overcooked and DRY!! And it was $38 to boot!! SO DISAPPOINTING!! Had no taste or flavor and the bread stuffing was horrible!! And other friends ordered stuffed Filet of Sole with crabmeat stuffing ($34) and it was stuffed with imitation crabmeat!! For those prices you at least expect real fish and not imitation!! NEVER AGAIN--so sad, it was one of my favorites!! NOT ANYMORE!!
The food was very good. The waiter did a disappearing act. When he showed up he got part of the order wrong. When we asked for more coffee, he again disappeared and we had to flag a different waiter. Not a criticism - but his English was so poor that we couldn't understand much of what he said. The second waiter spoke perfect English, was much more pleasant and very accommodating.
i wish I saw more argentine dishes on the menu. The sausage in the parrilla was yummy, but disappointing in terms of what I expected. The thin sausage I got looked more like a breakfast sausage as opposed to what would be served in a restaurant or Parrila in Argentina.
The sangria was good.
