The food was fantastic, including my daughter's selection from the kids' menu. Service was friendly, but a bit on the slow side (took a little over 30 minutes to get our entrees).
Gastro pub with great happy hour pricing. Enjoyed the food selection. Had a great kids menu. It didn't seem crazy busy, but we had an needed our reservation.
Good, original food. Good service. One of our favorites in Jackson.
The salmon was undercooked and had to be sent back. Service was not great. Food was mediocre.
Loved our meal here! Split several of the small plates. Standout was the buffalo octopus-incredible!
Fantastic food, with imaginative entrees to choose from. Excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
The flourless chocolate cake was wonderful.
The service and food were exceptional; it was the best meal we had in Jackson Hole. Highly recommend for real food and good drink lovers.
Nice to find something off the main strip that’s as good as advertised. Great food - unique menu and excellent service. Drinks were good as well. Price was on par with what you’ll find at most Jackson restaurants. Friendly staff - we’ll definitely visit again when we return in fall.
The salmon is wonderful! Love all the fresh ingredients.
Absolutely incredible service, food was to die for, and staff was so friendly! Favorite meal of our trip!
We always eat at Gather when we're in Jackson. This time I was on a restricted diet, basically eating Keto. Not a problem! They have many choices!!! Wonderful as always!
Gluten free choices are noted in the menu and they serve a gluten free, delectable dessert, making a Celiac feel more human and less burdensome while dining out. The food is aesthetically pleasing and the flavors have an incredible depth, allowing one to truly experience and enjoy their meal. My family couldn’t say enough good things about the food, (teenagers included). The service was wonderful and friendly.
While we had reservations, it was very busy during our time. There was a party of 6 that was taking up a lot of our waiter’s time. It took 15 minutes to get a drink order in and another 10 to receive our drink. We are locals and the food has been much better. Too rushed and not enough staff for how busy it was. Disappointing our business is a block away and intended to frequent for entertaining clients.
Really good food. We had the fried chicken which was so delicious (and GF!) and the ribeye which you could cut with a fork. The beignets were awesome for dessert. Came in off season so it was 2 for 1 entrees which was a nice surprise. Overall it was a great experience
Excellent service, great food, good atmosphere, and overall a wonderful experience.
I was not very impressed with the food for kids, it was very spicy (way too much garlic and pepper) and the steak was too raw. None of the kids who usually enjoy steak ate it. The miso soup and the winter salads were very good, duck was good too. But service was average. It took a long time to clean up the plates, the wine glasses were dirty (but exchanged promptly when requested). Overall, quite disappointing experience.
Fabulous family meal. The cocktails we're exceptional. And the charcuterie platter was delicious. Our part had the fried chicken, duck, steak, and lamb. All were very well prepared and delicious. Our server was very lovely and efficient.
Good meal, very close to Marriott. Food was good, not outstanding. Not overpriced. Worth trying
Unfortunately, the food was just not very good. It's a nice looking spot, and the service was just fine, but the food was weak. The fried chicken was bone dry - way overcooked. The elk bolognese was mush - overcooked pasta and flavorless sauce. It all sounded great on the menu. Just doesn't deliver.
Food was amazing - minus a fluke on a Brussel sprout dish.. needs to be refined due to the amazing entrees we had. Their fried chicken and pancakes were AMAZING... we also had Korean short ribs.. the flavor was great.. A little fatty but not overwhelming.. overall a great dining experience!
With my daughter, 13, and friend. Extremely friendly and amazing food. Beignets were incredible as were the Brussels sprouts.
Great interesting food. Really nice ambiance. Would be very happy to go again.
Went for dinner and drinks before a concert at The Center, timing was wonderful. Service and food is always great!
Another great evening at Gather! Our go to spot in J Hole
We did not overall love our experience at Gather. We were a group of seven and all but two of us had problems with our food or drinks. The restaurant was busy, but not so busy that it accounted for the service issues - overall, I'm sure it's a fine place, but for the price point , I expect more.
Our server greeted us very promptly as we sat down, and some of us were able to decide on drinks fairly quickly, but some needed more time. Since there were seven of us, we decided that the folks who were ready should order drinks, and the folks who weren't would order them when the other drinks arrived. Fifteen minutes later, we were still waiting on three cocktails and a beer and a visit from our server for the other three to place their drink orders. When my drink arrived, it came with two cinnamon sticks and tasted VERY strongly of cinnamon, despite cinnamon not being anywhere in the description. It was fine, but it definitely was not what I believed myself to be ordering.
One of our group wanted two small plates, and the server asked if she wanted them coursed since everyone else was having a first and second course. She said no, that she wanted them together. So they brought her food out first, and both plates at the same time. I guess that meets the terms of her literal request, but seemed very odd to everyone else at the table - we all interpreted her request (correctly) to be that her small plates should arrive with everyone's main courses.
The food itself was good. It wasn't anything spectacular - it's middle of the road New American at a Jackson price point. One additional beer order was completely forgotten, silverware was cleared after the first course and not replaced so we had to ask for it after our food had arrived, and a broken chair resulted in a small but painful injury to one in our party. We went to Kitchen on our visit last year, and think we'll probably head there again next year and skip Gather.
The manager, and wait staff were very accommodating to my group of 30, allowing us use of a private dining room and special promotional offer extended to guests at our hotel. We were there in time for Happy Hourwhere half price drinks and appetizers are offered from 5-6. The food was imaginative and well prepared. Many in my group raved about the Brussel Sprouts, Fried Chicken with Pancakes and the Pork Shanks. My favorite part of the meal was the fried beignet dessert with 3 dipping sauces. Gather is a great place for ambiance, Food and drink at a good value in a pricey town for dining.
We booked this restaurant for a dinner during a ski vacation. It was my favorite meal. Excellent wine list & interesting options by the glass. We did a couple of small plates- chaucuterie which was outstanding! The buffalo octopus amazing. I got the bone marrow sausage which was the only thing I didn’t love & the elk bolognese which was outstanding.
We had the Brussels sprouts and they were fantastic. I am a Brussels sprouts hater my entire life and liked these so much I had seconds. Salads, pork shank, chicken and duck rounded out our meals. All were excellent.
Loved the pork belly rolls and beignets. Salmon entree was nice too. The trout caesar was too fishy for me. In the end, I would have just liked a regular caesar, but maybe I could have asked for it without trout. My friend loves aperol cocktails, but didn't love the rosemary and found it had too much ice, hence quite watered down. Her pork shank entree was "Ok" in her words. Waiter was fine, but he never smiled and wasn't very enthusiastic.
Food was a bit too fancy and relatively expensive. Service good and nice environment.
Try the elk bolo!
We had a great meal at Gather during a weekend getaway. The service was a bit slow, but the overall experience was really good. They really do pay attention to detail. Highly recommended.
Everything was delicious especially the miso soup! I would highly recommend!
First time in Jackson Hole. This quaint restaurant was very close to our condo and we popped in for dinner. It was delightful. Four of us. Friends had salmon and I had the Elk Bolognese. It was fabulous. Would have gone back another night if I could.
Server was great, wine was great, location was great and ambiance was lovely.
Favorite "go to " in JH. love the small plates. Great menu that changes from time to time. Nice staff. Delicious cocktails.
This place was delicious . The entire email was great
Fantastic culinary experience. Especially enjoyed the braised pork shank entree. Highly recommend for any dining occasion.
Go for the food and put up with the service. As always the Brussels were a table favorite appetizer. We had the pork shank, the salmon and the prime rib - all perfectly prepared - lots of oohs and ahs as we dug in and shared bites.
The service was (as almost always) a bit spotty. The appetizer order didn't get placed until we asked about it. We had to ask for the check a second time - when the server came back with dessert menus - arghhhh.. would have probably not noticed as we were having a great time visiting - but we needed to get somewhere after dinner.
