   Gaspares is always a great place for Italian. I love that in 45 years they have kept the place the same in size and quality. Maybe 12 tables so make a reservation I would have given 5 stars but they seem to be out of several items listed. So time to update the menu. No sure the right answer that they no longer have Sangiovese because they can’t get it is appropriate. There are many great wines of that variety at the liquor stores for between $10 and $12 dollars. No problem if you don’t want to serve it just take it off the menu!

    Jillian and Jenna are an excellent serving team together. Service and food were great, as usual. My wife and I often meet and converse with very nice people in the restaurant. It's a very friendly place!

    The only downside was that they did not have the ingredients for several of the martinis that the had on their menu. The food was excellent. Best Shrimp Francaise sauce. All of us like our food. Would definitely go back!

    1st time there with a group of 6 It felt like we were in the owners house ! The wait staff get a 10+ Jillian was fabulous! The food was cooked to order and delicious! 1 diner was gluten free but they don’t have GF pasta but tons of grease vegetables Can’t wait to go back Even the drinks were great

    Have been going to Gaspare’s for over 30 yrs and it is our Mother’s favorite; however, Mom has limited mobility these days and the space is now too small. Last night, there was no room for her to get up and leave the restaurant because there seemed to be an extra table added to the dining room floor. The problem exiting lead to the 3 Star Overall rating.

    This restaurant is a small gem in a strip shopping center. I love the Veal Milanese with arugula and the capellini pasta with garlic & oil is absolutely delicious!!

    Food was good and fresh The server was not flexible - you get what you get the only problem was we really didn’t know what we would get versus what we ordered. The Resturant did not carry any sparkling water or club soda. I asked for the pasta to be on another plate and I was told it was an extra charge. With all the different dishes on the menu they didn’t carry ice cream or gelato. Some training and flexibility would go a long way

    I made reservations for 4:30. We arrived 7 minutes early. We were greeted with not a hello or welcome, but “reservations “? At the time, there was 1 other table in use. This is not the first time we have revealed this kind of non Welcome. The food is EXCELLENT, but they need to treat their guests better. We will have to stick to take out in the future

    Excellent always.Omg We love all the food fresh seafood diver scallops yum..We eat here once a week. Cayla Excellent she always makes us feel right at home..She worked so hard solo on memorial weekend with her wisdom teeth out and in pain.All the staff is great and very kind .We had my Mother laws 100 bday here Jan 22..People are so nice Jill made her feel so great with her kindness.and to the kids who attended.ialso. We have been comming here a long time .Good place..Nice owners.

    The place is tiny for sit down. Got the clams casino - Delicious! Got veal francaise - Delicious! Got shrimp fra diavolo - yummy and spicy! Got grilled chicken Caesar salad and my son was disappointed. Didn't like the way the chicken looked and there was hardly and dressing so not much flavor. The plates were huge and lots of food. HUGE MENU.... will go again with some friends so I can try out some of the other menu items and looking forward to it!

    Best kept secret in EHT; Food was outstanding; the wife and I both had the shrimp with pasta in a garlic white sauce...I think I am still tasting it today...it was a wonderful sauce. Salads came with the meal; nice size plus their garlic bread. Delicious! Didn't have room for dessert but did have two of their special Martini's. Jen made them perfect and was at the top of her game by giving outstanding service. It is our favorite local restaurant at the Shore.
